Wait. Why does everyone bash this movie?

That brutal sex scene was unnecessary.

For the same reason everyone loves shit like Game of Thrones. The average person is a sub 95 IQ retard.

Liv tyler was shit, the music was generic but overall a good movie.

Because Ed Norton is a sperg who had a autism attack when marvel didn't give a shit for his vision of Bruce banner

because that chink can't into capeshit

Wrong one, dickwad

>Requel

Movie itself was fine. Just a general lesson for Marvel in casting dos & don'ts.
I wonder if Norton ever regretted his choices after seeing what a juggernaut the whole thing became. I like Ruffalo & all (though not as a person, he's a brainless horker) but Norton was a great choice for Banner.

>average person
>iq anything other than 100
user, how did you get your brain so smooth?

Because it's boring as fuck.

I don't OP it's great.
Hulk is genuinely menacing at points, chase scenes in the villa and factory are suspenseful as hell.
Whole cast is solid.
It would be as good as the first Iron Man if the final battle was better.

because it was an actual movie and not a 2 hour toy commercial like all the post-disney-acquisition marvel "films"

>I wonder if Norton ever regretted his choices after seeing what a juggernaut the whole thing became.

After seeing the joke they gradually changed Banner and the Hulk into I doubt it.

bump...

Its funny because if they had just let Norton have his way then the Hulk would've actually been a good character and not a walking punchline

What was his vision

And why does Norton want to ruin every movie he stars in with his humanitarian SJW shit?

Liv Tyler romance lacked any chemistry and had shitty dialogue. You also get numb to the fight scenes at the end since it's the same shit until the clap and Hulk Smash. Godzilla had better use of fight variety than this movie and that movie barely had Godzilla.

That scene where Banner deliberately takes the fight to Harlem because "Black Lives DON'T Matter" didn't age well at all.

realizing the average of 100 has dropped to 95 was a redpill I wasn't ready to take...

Honestly his Banner wasn't very good. I was expecting him to play it like he did Fight Club, as a sort of beaten down drone guy that you could sense was on the verge of exploding just beneath the surface to lend his scenes some tension. Instead it was a very plain, unspectacular performance, not any better than the one from the guy in the Ang Lee movie.

I don't know why either, OP, it's one of my favorites. The chase through the hillside slums as an opening locale was great, the potential of what a Captain America film could be with Blonski taking the Super-Soldier Serum was laid out, and Ed Norton's physicality as Banner is much closer to the comics than Ruffalo.

I don't know what Norton's vision was and the BTS drama with the filming, but it was a solid MCU entry and worth rewatching.

if they got jennifer connelly again it would have been kino

watched the last 30 mins while on the bike at the gym yesterday. shit was based

nothing pisses me off more than some rich assholes who think theyre '""saving the world'"",

just do your fucking job and play pretend for 2 hours in a movie.

>As if Marvel's goal hasn't been to turn their strongest male characters (hulk and Thor) into walking punchlines

I thought he wanted it to be funnier? which is odd considering how the MCU turned out.
I didn't hate it anyway...just felt kind of dull for a Hulk movie. (Then again most of phase 1 was boring)
