He is shown to be immune to dragon fire, but a dagger forged in it vaporized him for some reason. He is shown to cause anything he touches to turn into a wight, or at the very least, die. Aria survives being grabbed by the neck though... He's a mastermind, but took seconds to dramatically pose, grab aria, pose again and let her kill him? Why?
It's also only halfway through the season. He should have died at the end of ep 5 at least.

you can appreciate both you dim wits. I'll fully admit i always preferd the political/war side, but NK was nice to have to give a clear over all narrative / theme to the series so we all know it was heading somewhere. The politcal shit was nice and convoluted, but the point was always that in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter who had the iron throne, eventuelly they'd all had to fight for life itself. That's why the show and story takes place in this specific time, because it's a special and unque(ish) period in the history of the world. Houses have been fighitng for generations, but now they all had to unite for something bigger.
Also arguably the politics have gone to shit for like the last 3 seasons where the "game of thrones" have just been completly random with characters making huge mistakes without consequences, plot armor, teleportation etc. Aruably the whole NK / wall shit has been the best part of the series as of late.
Again i always prefered the politics but i also fully realised that eventually it would all come down to a full fantasy good v. evil stand off and i found it kind of nice and structured to have a main plot "looming" in the background through all the seasons. The hype was real and the stakes were very high - life v.death. And now we're going straight back to "political side" except as i've said it's sucked for 3 seasons.All we're left with is a badly written cersei and pirate boi and "mad queen" daenerys that will betray jon.
