Been thinking about the last episode a lot and it just makes no sense for it to end like this. In my opinion we're all being played and jumping the shark here.
First of all it makes no sense for anyone to be able to face the NK and defeat him so it would be even more cringe to have Jon facing him on a duel or whatever. Most importantly, noone could defeat him straight up. The only way he could lose was not to Arya but to Bran's dagger. By doing this, Bran now has access to the same powers of the NK, becoming the NK himself now.
Remember in season 1 when the old lady was telling young Bran stories as he laid in bed? Bran never had an interest in any stories except those about the long night. All his life he yearns for the darkness, related to being raised as a cripple. Nothing makes him feel better than the thought of being the Night King himself. That's why he wanted to lure the NK next to him and that's why he didn't try to fight him, he wanted to take his powers and not simply defeat him. But the only way it works is if someone does it for him for whatever reason, using the dagger that's weaved so closely to Bran's fate.
Arya was just a tool for Bran's twisted plan. He manipulated everyone. That's why noone died yet, Bran will kill them all soon enough. Screencap this.
just wait for the next book. it might have a better explanation than the shoe

You can say whatever you want but you will see it soon enough. It's the only way for the show to tie it's missing knots. Stop underestimating the writers and treating them as hacks and actually grant them a modicum of respect. You will realize they have written themselves to a corner and basically already revealed their hand.
The only way the NK could be killed was by a stealth attack so it would make sense for Arya to kill him. However, the NK saw her and was able to react. How did he see her? The question is it was Bran who saw her and the NK ended up seeing her through his eyes giving him time to react. Bran was messing up the NK's perspective and abilities so much that he was unable to react when Arya did her little knife trick which is the only reason she was able to stab him. There's a reason Bran stopped warging at that very moment. You are all being played right now. The major twist of this show is soon to come.
The copeposting gets funnier and funnier as days go by.

Ok genius, so tell me what's the story now? Are they just going to go and fight for the iron throne against Cersei? That makes absolutely no sense. You should know by now that these writers love to subvert your expectations so now that you think the threat is over they are going to hit you with it once again and finish the show big. Just think rationally for a moment and stop assuming the writers are clowns.

>every Azor Ahai/Lightbringer/Prince That Was Promised prophecy was meaningless >Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna for no reason >Roberts Rebellion was pointless >The War Of Five Kings had no consequences >The War For The Dawn lasted 2 hours >Nobody outside of Winterfell will ever know the White Walkers ever existed >Everybody who ignored the Walker threat was completely in the right >Building the Wall itself was a waste of time, as was manning it for thousands of years BRAVO AMERICAN TOLKIEN

there are 3 episodes left and it's dumb & dumber what you see is what you get
Anthony Bennett
it's over. shit end for the NK. it's a wrap folks. the big twist is tyrion betraying the starks and queen yass. garbage writing for a garbage ending.
Wyatt Sanders
And Bran also timetravels to revive Stannis, Littlefinger and Tywin and they join forces while burning Dany, Arya, Sansa alive.
But dude lets get real. The show is just this stupid. There won't be a twist at the end.
Adrian Peterson
Bran's master plan is to get cute older girls to sit on his face.
Luke Martin
Mate, just stop Primary audience for this shitshow loved the episode and loved its conclusion. They never want to hear about the Night King ever again. If you bring up any glaring plotholes and general stupidity of the episode in any social gathering, you will just be considered party pooper. Trust me, I was once where you are now and I saw franchise after franchise to go into the shitter the same way and my coping and mental gymnastics did fuck all and normie train pushed onwards.
Just let it go.

Your theory is retarded, but I'll say this much:
Both the books/series begin with Bran's POV, and focus on him inordinately, given that other characters are far important to the plot. He's definitely keeping some secrets, and I think the last scene in the series will reveal them. I'm 90% sure he has something to do with Aerys' madness, and o wouldn't be surprised if the last scene was a montage of him trying to prevent the wars and instigating them in the process.
Parker Long
They'd have to be tactically writing shit dialogue and battle tactics and incoherent character positionings (in physical space) as well. I'd like for the series to actually get good and surprise us, but I'm only giving that a 40% chance. And that's a 40% chance of something "ok" rather than a complete trainwreck.
Adam Fisher
>You should know by now that these writers love to subvert your expectations Yes and the big subversion is that Jamie kills Cersei instead of Tyrion.

The only "twists" likely are that Danny has to be killed by John and that, I assume, some form of democracy is introduced? I'm kinda checked out by now.

Lucas Williams
And I'm sure littlefinger and stannis are still alive. give it a break OP.
Logan Brown
You fucking faggots are still at it? Idk what's worse, the writing for the show at this point or the fact you believe and still believe this to be canon
Accept it. Night King is Dead. Jon And Danny will marry and be happy as kangs. Sansa lady of winterfel. Arya will marry the hot boy.

Normalfag posting in a GoT thread gets quads.

This. Trump will MIGA and GoT will be a pile of moralistic garbage that amps normies up for war in Iran. At which point Israel will join in the war, I assume, and get more territory. Either just in Lolbanon (Lebanon) or they'll push into Syria (based). The Iranuloids will get rekt, the Saudis will keep pumping their liquid gold through Hormuz (after it's cleared in two weeks). And the Taliban may even become a proxy force for the Americunts, the way that AQ and then ISIS have been. (After all, the Tallies are currently in negotiations to effectively take back the country, and they're negotiating with the Americunts in open talks in either Qatar or Bahrain [can't remember].)
Dominic Cruz
Perhaps the real GoT was politics, after all, which is what makes politics so much more interesting than TV.
Kayden James
>related to being raised as a cripple. Imagine being such a mental cripple that you think Bran was raised one.

all my normie friends hate it so who is right now

Dude my fucking girlfriend even hated it and she merely watches it for Sansa and the gossip happening on the show.

>Building the Wall itself was a waste of time, as was manning it for thousands of years I mean let's be honest here, taking the black was never about defending against the Others. The wall did that. It was a way to get rid of second sons, and the ones on the losing side of a war, allowing them to retain their knightly honour while being made a non-threat, at most defending the North from wildlings and giants. That's probably why there's such a discrepancy between when the wall is supposed to have been built and the number of commanders or knightly vows being present at all when it's older than the Andals who brought all that with them. Because the wall wasn't staffed to begin with, until it served a purpose with the second sons and wildling raids.
Anthony Sanchez
>Bran never had an interest in any stories except those about the long night. This isn't even true user. Bran loves stories of knights and dreams of becoming one someday, he idolizes prince Daeron and other legendary heroes in the first book before he is crippled.
Lincoln Young
>Still clinging on to desperate theories with just a couple of episodes left
>how did he see her? Watch the clip again. Arya '' master of stealth'' sneaks past whole undead army but screams like a retard when attacking NK, revealing her position
