There are two parts to the story. The first one is Dennis going from a creep to a complete psycho and the other one is Mac comming out from the closet. Dennis in the early season was a creep but after a certain point he is just a different character. Mac was more fun when he was in the closet. Charlie, Dee and Frank are still fine.

They all said it in episode 1.

The show is over for me. I'll stick to seasons 1-11 and be very content with those.

The Gang Goes to Hell Part 2 is the best finale for the show. The moment where they're all ready to drown to death together, followed by them fighting to get out once the hatch opens, is the perfect encapsulation of the show and what made it great.
