HELLS BELLS TRUDY
HELLS BELLS TRUDY
ughhh, you goddamn bitch
daily reminder the ending is bad for don. he didnt learn anything. he took what was supposed to be enlightening and turned it into an ad
he will never become a better person
Think that was the point that he could use feeling happy to make money
>So many pointless plotlines that lead to nowhere
>Every season has a "Villain of the week" that goes away and never mentioned in later seasons
>Everything involving Don's wife and kids is boring as shit
>So many redundant love interest and cheap drama
Why is everyone shilling this show as the second coming of The Sopranos again?
>THE KING ORDERED IT!
Campbell is a blast on rewatch
Lane Pryce, my arch nemesis
Because it's a fantastic character study involving a cast of interesting characters. Dummies think it's meant to be glorifying the behavior of the main cast, but it's pretty obviously a critique of how fickle people are and how the times were garbage once you dug any deeper than the surface.
>once you dug any deeper than the surface.
Literally everyone gets the underlying themes of show. It's babbies first character study.
Excluding the great performances and dialogue, this show is only a notch above your average syndicated tv show.
A thing like that
I'm saying that the show is about how the 50's and 60's were garbage when you thought about them beyond the nostalgic wonder and assumptions of unending, good ol' American joy that people pretend that they were, not that the show itself was difficult to follow.
Great performances and dialogue define every great TV show. Not to mention the sets, cinematography, costume and overall art design; I'd take a TV show with a meandering plot but great everything else over a TV show with a solid plot but shit everything else any day. Suggesting it's only a notch above average for doing the two most important things greatly is kinda dumb.
It is only above average because the only redeeming qualities are the acting and dialogue. Thus it can't be compared to shows like The Sopranos, which are almost flawless in terms of writing, performance, screenplay, cinematography, art design etc.
If you don't think Mad Men competes with Sopranos on cinematography and art design then you don't know shit.
>what is reading comprehension
I didn't say that The Sopranos is better in those aspects, I said that it is better because it is almost flawless in every aspect, while Mad Men is not.
The only aspect where it's objectively worse is having a plot without a solid focus and structure, that's it, everything else stands pound-for-pound, and saying that makes it only a notch above your average syndicated tv show is still a dumb thing to say.
>everything else stands pound-for-pound
disagreed for reasons listed in original reply
>I didn't say that The Sopranos is better in those aspects
Yes you did, you said Mad Men's only redeeming qualities are the acting and dialogue while the Sopranos is almost flawless in cinematography and art design. That is, for a fact, stating that Sopranos is better in those aspects, you dummy.
Your original reply doesn't list reasons for that at all.
Imagine having an office and a secretary.
tap and sink scene was crushing
Imagine having the will to live
