Holy shit, this might be one of the worst-acted movies I’ve ever seen! I really wasn’t aware of just how bootleg this movie was when I was a kid. This is easily getting put into my top 10 so bad it’s good list.
Bloodsport
It's fucking amazing and you're not allowed to hate it on principle. It is so fucking great in it's own failures that it is simply wonderful. It is pure, absolute kino. Now fuck off.
It's how not to do, what you should do, and it's a magnificent failure. If you hate this movie, you do not deserve to live.
It is honestly one of the best comedy shows ever.
If you replace the audio with the cheers music it becomes some-other-level weird. It's just how 80's shit was done.
Okay nevermind seriously cut the cheers "everybody knows your name" audio with clips from this film. Shit is amazing.
This is my number 2 movie you asshole.
Frank Dux... A legend..
we loved it. and Cyborg. watch that if you haven't
The entire movie is straight fucking kino. I've probably watched this more times than any other film
I heard Donald Trump has this on his top 3 but he fast forwards through almost all of it so he can cut the movie down to about half an hour or something
Top 3 best movies ever made:
The Thing
Bloodsport
Big Trouble in Little China
it was a hit when it came out
It's top notch
A legendary fraud?
This, if you look at it critically it sucks in almost every way, yet it brings warmth to my heart every time I even think about it, definitely kino,
>you'll never look as good as peak Van Damme.
I take it you have never seen no retreat no surrender?
Shut up faggot it’s a documentary and one of the first “gonzo” movies its poor kino. Also fight me.
Read the "disputed claims" section on his Wikipedia if you want a laugh
Nothing beats the claims made by Dschero Khan, the last heir of Genghis turned out to be some small town Dutch Indonesia.
I'm unable to sit myself through a movie about Frank Dux. Fuck that guy
that's because you didn't watch his better acted movie friend
Masterpiece.
Believe it or not, this is actually trumps favorite movie
You shouldn't talk that way about a Vietnam War hero
Hey, I watched that movie again a couple days ago. Still kino even if acting was bad.
wow how does it feel to be a retarded cum guzzling faggot with zero taste OP? Bloodsport is a fucking legendary film that's infinitely rewatchable.
I worshiped that movie growing up , being a karate fag and all that.
I had totally forgotten about it until another thread on /V and then somebody dropped the info on the guy , how he is a hack and nothing ever happened etc.
I could feel that user punching my childhood in the balls
>That opening after arriving with the reporter, Van Damme and the fat ameriburger.
I've never cringed or seen such bad acting in my life, still adore this movie.
>We will never get anymore kino fighting movies.
>We'll never get anymore movies set in the mystical lands of bug people.
At least there is the karate kid.
i like when he got the powder in the eyes man thats the funniest part
>youtube.com
Bottom one!
It's great 80's cheese to watch while getting drunk from cheap liquor
very good OP
but imageboard not hit back
>somebody dropped the info on the guy , how he is a hack and nothing ever happened etc.
?
I said the same thing when watching the movie. These movies get you pumped, literally makes me want to exercise. Same goes for movies like Rocky. Nowadays if a movie like that was released they'd just label it was "toxic masculinity" or something.
Sad times.
Senzo Tanaka is my shidoshi
Basically the guy the movie is based on is a complete and absolute fraud. The movie ends with the whole "based on real events" etc and i believed that 100%.

>We will never get anymore kino fighting movies.
What is the Raid/Raid 2?
This movie is about the supposed deeds of a fake martial artist called Frank Dux. He also did the choreography for the movie, and unironically claims really stupid shit, such as:
>fighting the kumite, a secret martial arts tournament in Bahamas with 60 single-fight eliminatory rounds
>serving the marine corps overseas in Vietnam from '75 to '81
>being trained in ninjutsu as a kid by one of the most respected ninjas in the world
>being recruted by CIA to do undercover missions
If you look up about the guy, it gets even worse
It's bad acting but what did you expect from a martial arts movie with an already foreign lead star, it has a lot of soul. Everyone involved with this flick had an absolute blast and gave it their all.
Great acting and fighting almost never works, look at another one of his movies called The Quest, super cliche drama oriented "story" with relatively skilled actors and it's got nothing on bloodsport. Like, would expect a hamlet performance in dirty and gritty martial arts flick? It doesn't sound like a good combination.
Frank Dux is a liar but the Kumite has always been real. It's still called like that.
He is roided to fuck, it looks freakish at this point,
This.
>Born: Toronto, Canada
A fucking leaf
