Never seen this show before but I liked this scene. Why did they take him to a different time period though?

Pacino's performance is definitely bizarre at times but Heat is far from a bad movie. The action scenes are incredibly well done and I haven't seen anything else that really manages to capture the sprawling, seedy atmosphere of LA so well.
