Did D&D use the Eowyn vs Witch King scene from the LotR movies as inspiration for the Arya vs NK one?

Was there any foreshadowing of Arya doing what she did?
Melisandre's cryptical mumbo jumbo prohpecies six seasons ago that could be anything.
That's hacky writing tbqh
They turned a low fantasy, more realistic series into a shittier version of LotR and they didn't even fucking care enough to do it properly

SOOOO DEEP
Will LotR's fantasy battles ever be toppled?
At least Arya didn’t say something cringey...she just did it.
All 3 episodes were taken out of Lord of the Rings
>the dragonglass superglued to the walls did absolute nothing all episode
fuck me this is actually embarrassing in retrospect. the writing here was clearly meant as a throwaway, but now it literally doesn't make any sense.
trying to trick the viewers into thinking you had something planned from the beginning by retroactively changing the context of a line is literally entry level, fan fiction tier writing. the only saving grace from all this is that D&D have now exposed themselves to be a bunch of fucking talent less frauds.
Eowyn is a better GRRL POWER character than all of GoT's main female characters combined.
The Witch King is not Sauron.
they're both jews, so they'll fail upwards.
mark my words
Eowyn (the character) didn't really do anything cringey; what was cringey was the way her actress lifted up her sword and shrieked.
What could have been
At least Eowyn actress could really act.
If only they had it glued to the actual walls instead of those segments archers use for cover and no enemy ever uses them to climb
How dare you ruin the kingslayer kino
It's like they tried to imitate stuff but didn't really understand how things would work.
