What is your honest opinion on this kino?
What is your honest opinion on this kino?
Alternate histories are always neat.
kike fantasy trash
You have to turn your brain off at the end, there is no reason the allies wouldn't kill Landa once Hitler was dead and he should have known this.
It's really good but honestly it's probably his weakest mainstream movie
It's been a top 10 film for me for a long time, but I have a bad feeling SJWs are loving it a lot cause haha killing nazis, and that kinda ruins it for me
You doubt how important that moment is. The guy in that moment singlehandedly won the war for them. That’s a big deal.
Tarantinos best. The farm and tavern scenes are some of the best in the history of film.
Originally I had simply expected about 2 hours of nigger toe sucking, maybe a little nigger dick then back to toe . . . dick, toe, finger, more dicks, dicks dicks, finally a big black cock, cock, more cocks. Oh god just a veiny huge black cock, toes, cocks, maybe some balls at the end, but it was better than I'd anticipated.
that scene is pure kino
Why would you ever care what SJWs think. They are on the fringes if society. The extreme social left deserves just as much attention as the extreme social right. Both are groups of mouth breathing ugly retards that can’t get over the fact that life didn’t go 100% perfect for them. They are meant to be ignored.
Fantastic movie. I don’t know how to rank his films because any of them could be my favorite depending on the day.
i liked it
The bar scene is the best scene Tarantino ever did. I could watch it without subs and still enjoy it completely.
I'm not sure if this was intentional by the writer but I do like the fact that instead of having "muh nazis are ebil" they instead give the Nazis some innocence to them and make the allies these unreasonable sadists that kill anyone that wears a military uniform
Its actually really fucking gay and stupid and so are you
shut up you braindead tripfaggot cuck
Lets see the allies could either kill Landa or try to sell the idea of a well known Nazi being an undercover. Had Landa been killed right there with his friend nothing would change about Hitler being dead.
Shutter Island is a devastating response to it. Shutter Island is essentially a guy who tries to be a Basterd but he gets caught up by his own morality and life's complexity. It's all through the plot but note the initial dialogue with Max von Sydow (You think that because I am a German, I am a Nazi).
they spelled inglorious wrong
Opening is great, bar scene is great. Strudel scene is underrated. Ending is dumb. Brad Pitt is is a garbage actor. Christoph Waltz was perfect casting and he'll never be as good in anything again.
Did the german investigator know the fem-jew was the girl who escaped (or even that she was a jew) when he interrogated her with the strudel? What was the point of that scene? redpill me
They made a deal. It’s not like brad Pitt had the opportunity to hear a plan to assassinate Landa. It’s entirely possible that landa does get killed after the movie is over, but all the actions within the movie make sense. Landa knee the Nazi empire wouldn’t last, so he found his best out and took a chance.
it was a brilliant movie that pretty much no one seems to understand
no one seems to get that you're not supposed to be happy when all the Nazis get burned alive in the theater or shot in the pub
it's not so obvious but if you think about it for a while it's hard to deny
it is clearly intentional that we see all the movie goers laughing and cheering about the American soldiers being killed by the young sniper hero right before we see a bunch of Nazis being killed
we're given pretty much the exact same type of media where the innocent soldier is brutally killed by the blonde girl who owned the theater when his only crime was defending his country and killing people trying to kill him and his friends
and then all the innocent women, children, and non Nazi civilians are all caught up in flames but yet a lot of us will find it enjoyable because we're conditioned to hate Nazis
that's the point.
just how the Nazi film viewers shouldn't be laughing and cheering at American soldiers being killed (from the American perspective we find it deplorable) we also should not be laughing or cheering for all the innocents being killed in the theater just because Hitler is among them
then there's the fact that all the Bastards are cruel, overly violent brutish and pretty stupid with stupid plans
cruelly killing soldiers who merely wish to stop their brothers from being killed and who maintained their honor
while the evil Nazi main antagonist is the most likeable character as well as the most intelligent
all the "good guys" were painted negatively while all the "bad guys" were shown to be humans with families and morals
it's supposed to be a statement on ourselves and the media and how we're conditioned to hate those we've been told for so long are evil
please tell me I'm not the only one who figured this out
The point of the scene is the tension that Landa might know. If he knew, he was playing his cards to setup his plan to off Hitler and escape nazi Germany. If not, he was just being a weirdo like normal. Signs point to him knowing though.
Kike wet dream, in short: fuck it
seeit's 100% intentional
you don't get any points though because you only realized this because you're a /pol/tard nazi sympathizer
see the post with Kate Upton
>/pol/
go back to your discord tranny
am I wrong faggot?
(we both know I'm not)
and just discuss the points I made in my post without jumping to emotional insults and memes and other such retardation
bump you faggots
>thread dies as soon as I comment
every time.
guess I'm gonna have to make my own post
Unironically one of my favorite Tarantino flicks. It's brilliant.
you are
never posted on /pol/ and never will
>the points I made
>emotional insults
nigga what
Bastards*
>look up the film
>it's actually fucking misspelled
>blockbuster that made millions and this mistake slips by everyone
What the fuck?
Valkyrie which came out the year before was better
Jewish power fantasy
this
This is correct. Anytime you see characters in a movie watching a movie, it's a big red flag that there's a metafictional component to what you're observing.
it's a 9/10 made 10/10 for triggering /pol/ immigrants
man youre stupid
my post is very obviously the one with Kate Upton
and just gonna lie to avoid being wrong huh?
what a loser
Possibly one of the best movies ever made. Gets better with each rewatch, somehow.
Boring as all fuck. Trailers made it seem fun but it just dragged.
If you think a movie is boring, chances are you're actually just stupid.
Hell yeh brother, movie was trash much rather have been playing fortnite
Watch this.
I don't think so. Both Landa and Aldo knows how important a deal can be.
what about contagion?
I almost fell asleep and all my friends hated it
Contagion is really good but yeah it's not mindless spectacle.
it was really boring and I get the same intellectual thrill from any zombie movie...
but with no zombies
big plot holes as well
I'm pretty sure everyone who pretended you like that movie only does so because they have a self image of being intellectual and cultured and therefore such a movie was made for the elite thinking men that they are and therefore the movie is automatically good
> what's that? you didn't like it? you must have not understood it as I am smarter than you and it takes an IQ of at least 200 to enjoy this movie
basically the Rick and Morty of thrillers
>I'm pretty sure everyone who pretended to like that movie only did so because they have a self image *
It has some fantastic scenes (the bar scene), but idk its sorta just jewish revenge porn.
This movie bored the shit out of me when I saw it in theaters, but I don't remember anything about it except some parts near the end. Maybe I should rewatch it
perfect kino
Landa is in our hearts
Movie is supposed to be about basterds
Instead you got 1h30 of a smug cunt nobody gives a shit about
You should, one of Cruise's best performances and the rest of the cast is great as well.
Really liked it when watched on the big screen. Rewatched at home last month, still brilliant.
The only thing is that the 3 scenes you mentioned (farm, strudel, bar) were so praised that QT did H8 with the idea of making a whole movie of these kind of scenes.
While being great in a movie with other types of scenes, one movie with all its content being made out of these is not that great.
Fucking garbage:
>the Basterds (sic) are incredibly boring. All I remember was the Bear Jew (because he had a baseball bat) and Ryan from the Office. It didn't have a Dirty Dozen or Ocean's 11 feel where you got to know everybody
>both the basterds and the french woman had the same plan to blow up the theater. There was literally no tension as both plans went off pretty well
>Hitler going to a movie is France was insane. He was a paranoid mother fucker and even if he did go, he would have taken at least 2 SS divisions with him. Everyone was wandering around the theater like it was a public park
>This movie bored the shit out of me when I saw it in theaters,
You sound like a stupid ADHD faggot.
Valkyrie is Nazikino
Best Tarantino flick, and the last time he really tried. He did his absolute best to make it look amazing, the dialogue is tops, and it's got pretty much all of his favorite tropes.
We will never get a tarankino like Inglorious ever again.
>Thu
Never thought about it like that. Thanks for the insight
shutter island was not a "devastating" response to anything. it was a twilight zone episode that ran over budget.
>It's really good but honestly it's probably his weakest mainstream movie
this
His worst flick until he made the next two
>weakest mainstream movie
Huh? which of his films are mainstream and which aren't?
They're all mainstream Hollywood flicks produced by the Weinstein company.
My Best Friend's Birthday isn't a mainstream studio picture and it's arguably his worst movie (and he'd no doubt say the same), although it's not without its charms.
Good read bro, didn't think of it like that but it totally makes sense
Why didn't she just say she fell down some stairs?
Tarantino is not a moralizer. Also, you are acting like it's morally wrong to kill nazis.
>this triggers the /pol/tard
People this dumb comment on this board friends. Keep that in mind before you get baited.
zionist revenge porn fantasy
I bet the kikes who praise it are the same who bashed Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ for being "violent"
That pedo has never directed a good film and never will. Valkyrie was fucking garbage
I like that he showed the allies as the bad guys they really were.
You have to go back.
This is the best directing job he ever did.
That being said, Jackie Brown is still overall his best movie.
I would have liked it more if they had taken out the Shoshanna plot line.
Seeing a bunch of incompetent chads commit war crimes while having solid bantz was way more entertaining.
Change nothing about Landa, he was a great antagonist.
It's morally wrong to kill anyone
It was a great scene overall but their cover getting blown because they showed "the wrong three" and not because they brought Hugo Stiglitz was fucking dumb.
Unless I'm just a brainlet and the SS officer was just fucking with them because he recognised him right away.
idk what you mean but I know his point was making a statement that he could make the Nazis as human and relatable as possible and the American heroes as dumb cruel stupid and arrogant as possible and that most people would still cheer for the "bad guys" to die
(I'm a /pol/tard too I just wanted to make fun of him)
you're welcome friend
I find it pretty interesting desu
I prefer it over Django Unchained which I would say is even more mainstream
How do you do, fellow Four-Channeller?
>Jews ugly bloodthirsty savages
>Brad Pitt an actual retard
>heroine a disgusting coal burner
>germans smart and honourable
What did Quentin mean by this?
those people count in 100 000s AND they can vote. they also yell pretty loud.
death of the author, you insufferable pleb. also quentin literally toured israel to promote this film. quentin the BLM cockholster tarantino. writing revenge fantasies is what he does.
It's good but i don't understand people who claim that this is one the best films ever. It clearly is not. Tarantino made like 2 films which i can understand when people call them great. The rest of his filmography is too derivative to be considered great. Also he loves his dialogue. This film has a problem from which many of his films suffer. His films are very masturbatory, it feels like he doesn't want to lose any line from his script. He construct scenes which stands on their own like the cottage scene and bar scene. But the material around it can drag his films down. I also wonder when will he finally end a film without a burst of violence, he is extremely juvenile in this regard, but this was more Hateful Eight problem.
They really live rent free in your head
Gas the right, fuck the left
More overrated Tarantino bullshit. Worth a watch but not much more.
