"You could not live with your own failure... where did that bring you? Back to me."

"You could not live with your own failure... where did that bring you? Back to me."

What did he mean by this?

this is the line on my exs when they come back to me

thats only happened like twice but w/e i can wait

That the movie was actually okay and its fine if a company wants to pool so muxh money together for such a generative spectacle

I don't know, but I feel the same about Yea Forums.

Exactly what he said, and damn if he wasn't right.

He had all the best lines.

And he's right about everything. Could've been nicer to Nepula. 9.9/10 "Villain". Now its all downhill from here.

imo thanos turned out to be one of the best characters despite having zero screentime comparatively.

wish we had seen more of maw too. he was pretty based.

A lot of his lines made no fucking sense. 'I am inevitable' was absolutely meaningless in the context he first said it unless he had full knowledge of the events to follow

yep

>'I am inevitable' was absolutely meaningless in the context he first said it

He destroyed the stones, meaning there's no fixing shit and all possible paths that once were now lead only to him.

>Now its all downhill from here.
Not so fast

made the entire avengers squad look like bitches
still angry at no Cucklk vs Thanos rematch...what the fuck

You already had this faggot before and there is no way progressive cocksuckers from Marlel will ever portray nationalistic anti hero in any interesting way. Why are nerds such fucking retards with the 'glutton for punishment' fetish?

stakes wont be the same, thanos is stronger

He meant that their quest to stop him in the future failed miserably and rather than roll over and take their lumps and accept the new world he created, they desperately tried to undo the snap which led to Thanos coming back into the picture to jack the stones and the Stark gauntlet. Essentially, his point was that if they had just been grateful and accepted his sacrifice, only half the population would be dead instead of all of the population.

And then Captain Marlel rekts Thanos shit and he and his army get dusted 10min later

Of course he's going to talk a big game.

They failed and needed a solution
the solution for thanos was him to destroy everything this time permanently

Doesn't the time travel/alternate reality/timelines element sort of negate Tony's snap, so that killing 2014 Thanos doesn't matter than much, it's not really a definitive victory?

Unless Tony's snap somehow included all of time and the entire multiverse, couldn't everything be threatened again at some point by another version of Thanos?

It's a stretch to think that no other being in the entire universe will ever invent time travel the way Tony did, and that no version of Thanos will ever get his hands on the tech

>wish we had seen more of maw too.
He practically stole Infinity War imo, he was fantastic

>avengers 5 opens with Kang the Conqueror snapping Thanos' neck in a post snap timeline non chalantly and commenting how this yet another timeline in need of repair/conquest

>thanos is stronger
this is going to be a problem, isn't it? The team got stronger and more experienced, so any villain thats weaker than Thanos would just not work
not a comicfag, are there stronger villains?

>are there stronger villains

Galactus maybe?
Apocalypse or Mister Sinister from X-Men?

not much of a comicfag either

Scarlett Witch took him down by herself.

Attached: SW.jpg (1367x2048, 254K)

>Apocalypse
the blue guy from the last x-men? Didn't like him that much, but he does have potential. I prefer the talking ''mad'' villains over the silent ''le eternal evil'' villain. Galactus seems to be the latter

"I already fucked you once. It will be worse this time"

>no Cucklk vs Thanos rematch

It subverted your expectations

One could argue that Banner merging with Hulk and bringing his anger under control eliminated his need for a rematch, it was a way of taking the high ground

Alternatively, Banner being the one to put on the gauntlet and reverse Thanos' snap served as his equivalent of revenge/rematch

>push him a bit
>get punched into the stratosphere

thanoth

Doom is one of the best antagonists they could possibly use. Magic in the mcu is op as fuck. Plus throw in any super science in there and you have a villain that can more than match up against the avengers.

Attached: 1549556622182.png (630x700, 161K)

if they include doom in the MCU they have to end his movie with the marquis of death taking the thanos role of "my subordinate is useless ill handle it"

Her going batshit is so gratifying to watch.

she coulda torn him in half, but i bet she just liked to watch him writhe

>"dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same"
>"i ignored my destiny once"
>"i am inevitable"
he's talking about fate, its the characters central theme in both movies

Is onslaught viable at all?

Should be a banner.

Literally doesn't matter when none of the Avengers left are popular.

This is why time travel is never a good option for big settings.

>Cap is old and Tony an hero’d himself so two absolutely major powerhouses of the avengers are gone now
>Infinity hax are also now gone
>Galactus, Kang, Doom and the X-Men all potentially exist, and the idea of a MCU fantastic four movie really pushes the idea of Doom showing up. Doom and Galactus are base Thanos tier or higher.

You got taste

They won't do doom as the final boss of the second phase because he isn't that intimidating, he's like a poor mans darth vader, looks like skeletor. If anything they'll go for Galactus and silver surfer but it wont be for about five to six years years since that will be the climax of the next phase which will be rolled out a bit more rapidly than the first phase since they have their shit together and know this template works. Doom might play a role as a villain but it wont be the final boos villain. I think they'll roll out Galactus like they did the white walkers in GOT.

get out of here normie scum

Based wise user

It means Thanos thought his actions to be inevitable. The Avengers were scrambling to undo their failure and all it did was bring them back to Thanos where he thought they would fail again. He was just wrong.

I mean, now that the time stone is gone, why doesn't Dormammu come back and wreck shit. That's just how comic books are.

Doctor Doom is way stronger than Thanos. Shit he's killed galactus before and one shotted thanos. I mean really Doctor Doom is fucking based.

not without another ten years of setup

He was referencing all outraged pol incels that made Captain Marvel most searched superhero on pornhub.

stop this, user
