Last week, I heard King Arthur: legend of the sword was underrated but fuck. That was unironically awesome
Man, I'd have stayed and fucked that redhead partner until the end of my days.
Based. IM3 > IM2 > IM
Capeshit can’t be kino
I was skeptical at first but then I decided to simply give it a watch. It was ridiculously good and had everything a good horror movie must have
This cant be real
This entire trilogy was kino. Thor 2 was also fun
Alita was insanely good despite the lukewarm reception of bugmen
bump
Yeah i saw it on a plane and it was actually really enjoyable.
Every scene with Tony and his parents always gets me. :(
I was really surprised with how OK the new total recall actually was
Too late now, I haven't watched a single MCU capeshit and it's over now.
Sometimes I think of the lost memories and common experiences and I cry.
You can still watch them. The movies didn't go anywhere.
Yeah it's a very solid film; well stylised, interesting premise, some good acting. People got way too hung up on it not having exactly the same plot as the original, which is frankly weird.
>I think of the lost memories and common experiences and I cry
Get over yourself. You'd have trouble finding a well-spent childhood on this entire site.
True, but I don't think anyone was really watching them for the artistic value.
They were watching them for sharing them with their friends.
Do average people watch movies for themselves or for having some common ground with other people and sharing experiences and discussion?
Never mind, I'm projecting again.
>I play videogames by the way
I'm 40 and a virgin and the same happened with everything else, LoTR, Lost, X-Men, Breaking Bad, 24, GoT.
I have nothing in common, I watch only old classic kino and when I rarely tell people what I watched they give this weird look like "Why?? Who watches this shit and why?"
Now I kind of want to watch movies with you...
I hate other fans of the things I like, especially fans of Star Wars and Marvel/DC stuff. I watched them for the enjoyment. They aren't great art house films no, but they're entertaining anyway.
>tom cruise
>not expecting kino
fuck you sally
>the mummy
>mission impossible 2
>rain man
>he fell for the mission impossible 2 was bad meme
It's one of the best ones. MI: 3 is the worst film.
SCIENTOLOGY, BITCH!
People got hung up on the utterly awful action and horrible aesthetics.
>the mummy
Great film, another Tom Cruise kino.
>mission impossible 2
Haven't watched because back then I was stupid and I thought only plebs and anti-intellectuals watch Cruise's films (I was thoroughly punished for my sins and I keep getting punished)
>rain man
I heard good things about this film, expect it to be great.
Tom Cruise is great, he doesn't have a bad film.
The 2012 film? It's at least worth watching for Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel.
>King Arthur: legend of the sword
10/10 soundtrack and a solid 6/10 film. I liked it.
>Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel
The two greatest seamen daemons in the history of cinema in the same film, nice!
at the end, when Tom Cruise is narrating about how the wife/gf should see him in her daughter, why does it cut to the gorilla doll she is holding? is this supposed to remind the audience of morgan freeman?
Immortals (2011) with Henry Cavill.
BOUNCIN' ON MA KNEE
That was hilarious. Give it a tug, back on the barge The ending where he fucks everyone up was a strange choice of CGI but other than that, a fucking blast
One of my favourite capeshit movies in awhile
pic unrelated as i always knew this was kino
That's beautiful!
Kino. Dat tripwire scene
This and 3 were absolut kino of the highest order
They have 7.1 and 7.5 on imdb
it's fun, but that witch actress was terrible, took me out of the film
All the Scott Adkins Undisputed films are kino. Even the first one with Wesley Snipes is worth a watch too.
the mummy was oddly funny, some scenes were hilarious (don't know if that the effect they're supposed to have though)
ThisWhy is MI2 there? Besides a boring convo with Anthony Hopkins, that's one of the best and still gives MI: fallout a run for its money
Underrated af
do love scott adkins, knighthood when?
I was skeptical of Scott Adkins as a villain but it was kino
>It's you. You're the rocket man
Might be Cage's best quip
I've heard this isn't that great but I'll watch it for Adkins, MJW and Tony Jaa.
speaking of scott adkins - the debt collector was better than I was expecting.
The acting from Tony Jaa and Chen is horrible but otherwise its worth it desu
Is there a version out there that has subtitles for the foreign speaking parts?
For the last time.. capeshit can’t be kino
>They're not coming for us are they sir?
When I first watched the film as a kid I was happy to see all the bad guys lose and die. Watching it recently though I really empathized with General Hummel and his Marines. Really hope he at least got his dead men the respect they deserved after all of that
>End of the movie admits it was a Bluff and hopes they would pay up to the families
>Wants to surrender but the Greedy Mercs kills him
Truly a Man of Honor. Also the fucking Soundtrack is perfect.
bump
I liked it.
shittest bait
>people are not allowed to like what I dislike
that and the fall were ultra kino
this movie is so fucking based
Why did you think you'd hate it? Even smug critics admits it was the best Michael Bay film.
At least pick one of the Transformers or pain & gain
This was better then it had any right being.
BASED
Only good choice in this thread.
this
And to an even greater extent GI Joe: Retaliation
i got good subs off subscene when i watched it
I loved it. Would've been better if it didnt set up sequels
I liked it too and hoped there'd be a franchise, but I wouldn't call it kino. Same as pic related, great movie but not an enduring classic.
Kino in the context of this thread seems to be 'fuck you I liked it', and that's a good thing.
I love that movie
One of those movies where if I'm flipping channels I'll always watch it
Real camp kino with Billy Zane and Ron Perlman collecting a paycheck
based iron man 2 poster
Not a movie but whatever, pretty solid show.
Cold War (2018). Thought Ida was just decent, went in expecting oscarbait like Roma, was blown away.
Why did you think it’d be bad?
Great taste anons
Ida was a far superior movie to Cold War you pleb
if your only enjoyment of watching movies comes from obsessing about and overanalyzing some vague notion of "artistic value" to compare with other pretentious autists online, then that's on you.
are we just listing Tom Cruise kino ITT now?
Rise of Cobra was a bit too much of the plebby "brotherhood ride or die" type stuff that the lower class love, like the early Fast and the Furious movies. militarygruntcore. still fun though. Retaliation toned that down a bit and improved on everything else, and was fantastic popcorn kino.
Doom
Karl Urban needs to do more movies.
I like "Vanilla Sky" since even though much of it doesn't make any sense (e.g., "Benny The Dog"") there are some cool scenes and there's a genuine debate to be had as to who is the cuter girl-- Cameron Diaz or Penelope Cruz, since both were in their prime.
Cameron Diaz' prime was in The Mask. Penelope Cruz was the clear top cute in Vanilla Skye. This is not up for debate.
Is he immortal?
Let me add Dredd too.
It’s funny. After I watched that I literally sucked a cock. I think it may be related.
I took like 4 Xanax bars and slept through this.
Was chill. 10/10.
fuck off
Dredd was amazing. Went in without any expectations, sort of expecting the chessiness of the Stallone movie, but it blew me away. Never even takes the helmet off.
>we want the 300 audience
Mission Impossible 2 is the ultimate pleb filter.
>Top amusement!
>Great special effects!
There was a time when MCU needed shilling to drag audiences to its movies
kino
literally Marvel tier
No CGI so it can't be Marvel tier.
You should spend the time that youre not having sex on watching those movies
I'm the same. I'd be nice to chat to someone who feels the same as I do but I'd probably end up hating you.
I was expecting the motorbike chicken scene
Rain Man is fucking excellent you brainlet
I feel like I'm the only nigga that liked this one
One of, if not THE worst movie I've ever seen
what the fuck was this movie even about?
