I would've preferred it if the NK and all the Walkers were just a massive force of nature, unable to be stopped or killed but simply survived. Jon's whole thing should've been, as the blood of the North and the Dragons, for him to make a pact with the White Walkers and cause them to retreat back beyond the Wall. The whole point of this story is about the conflict within, not a giant epic battle, but it seems like Dabid's forgotten that.

It would've been pure kino for Jon to have to make that choice and essentially kill Dany and others in order to save everyone else. The idea of the White Walkers representing an inevitable death that can only be stymied or halted but never truly stopped is fucking great, and then they just turn the shit into Lord of the Rings and the fucking dumbasses eat it up. It's insane how bad its gotten.
