How many times did your theater clap?
How many times did your theater clap?
I haven’t watched a movie in almost a decade
some guy tried to clap at a few of the wow epic cool moments but people angrily stared and called him out so he stopped
Once, when the cinema shooter shot up the entire row.
based
NOT. ONCE.
like 10 times, but people lost their shit when cap grabbed mjolnir, people were screaming and clapping, it was like being in a stadium.
P.S: im not from the U.S
Mjolnir scene
I always made fun of Americlaps but I ended up clapping too
Twice, I believe. I was in the middle, though, clapping came from my left, I guess all the retards were there.
We don't clap at movies in the UK. There was some "ooooh"ing and "aaaah"ing at certain points though, and of course laughter at the funny bits, but thats it.
Not a single time.
There were just some kids asking "who's that", well actually it happened every minute.
Scott pissing himself got the most laughs.
Zero because I don’t live in a nation of dribbling retards
Some ooh-ing at captain picking up the hammer
Some girl was sobbing after ironman's snap
Unironically about 4-5 times
Namely when cap took the mjornir, when he said 'avengers assemble', when stark said 'i'm iron man' and when peggy and cap danced.
Even though i live in a second world uro country, i've never seen it happen before
when cap go the hammer, but i was more surprised how many people cried at the funeral
>paying for disney shit
Guys I watched it but I want to invite a girl to the movies, should I see here I've seen it already? And also that I went alone?
No she'll say no, better don't even talk to her.
There were 4-5 different moments during the battle sequence when it broke out. All the snapped Avengers showing up legit felt like a sporting event with people literally getting up and cheering.
No applause for the women teaming up moment though, which is funny because that was like the most obvious applause bait moment in the entire movie
Not an american, so 0.
I swear, I always thought this clapping in cinema thing only happened in Burgerland, if happened at all. And yet some faggots in my theatre clapped when Cap said "hail Hydra". Dissapointing.
Two fags tried clapping awkwardly when the credits rolled but since nobody else clapped they just kind of stopped.
Part of it was depressing but it was mostly hilarious
I thought that joke was too complicated for most viewers.
two times
>mjolnir
>ending
unironically based
I don't think there's ever been a complicated joke in marvel movies. Maybe some obscure references.
3 I think. I cringed though.
>clapping in a theater
>making ape noises in amazement
>shoveling popcorn and high fructose corn syrup consistently through out
>roasties and children standing up to go pee
>often stuck sitting behind a fake chad who reeks of cologne or some old bitch who smells like the stuff she wants to he buried in
This is why I just don't go to theaters or I wait until its almost out and go see it when no one else is there. I also failed to mention the often incompetent projector setup and bass boosted ear drumming bursting audio.
American here. 29 years old, been to hundreds of different theaters in my life. Never once seen anybody clap.
I don't get it? They're supposed to be superheroes right? Why did they think it was okay to fuck up other people's timelines just to save their own? Isn't that selfish and unsuperhero like?
Marvel is so fucking retarded with timelines its basically rick and morty. There is a timeline where the avengers defeated thanos without going back in time. There is a timeline exactly the same as the cinematic one except tony star has a different colored suit.
Its retarded as fuck, makes no sense, and ruins all drama when you think about it. The normie fans are going to drop out if they go full comic book and explore this more.
Spiderman is perhaps the first to get this retarded in comics.
There was a retard a few rows back that clap, cheered and laughed at almost everything. An actual retard, I mean. No one else made a peep because I guess they didn't want to seem like a retard.
Once at the end. Which is a shame, I expected more clapping throughout the movie considering I saw it on a friday night, aka normie time.
The most based Yea Forums post ever
>second world country
Huehue pls.
Also, capeshit is so powerful, it can turn non-Americans into Americlaps.
Zero, and I'm in America. Someone did yell out "girl power" once though.
It turns sub 80IQ into americlaps.
I can promise, not a single clap was heard in Scandinavian cinemas during Endgame.
that's because you're too poor to even have theatres
It’s mostly reserved to capeshit right after release
not once. germans don't do this.
This obese woman cried the entire movie and this other nerdy guy right next to me laughed very loudly at every joke.
I finally watched it and something bothered me. I'm Greek btw and black people are rare in my place so there is a lot of racism. That scene where Cap gave his shield at Sam, many people were upset and actually said "so the black guy will be the new Cap now" or "wtf, why the black guy"? Did this happen in your country too?
>Female superhero scene
>Audience throws popcorn at screen
>Husband slaps his wife
people clapped when cap got the hammer.
my gf was laughing hysterically during the woman power scene and the iron man death scene. i think she's the one lads
thankfully I'm not american so people don't applaud movies.
my gf about captain marvel movie: "it's not really interesting when the hero is female"
Once at the end
I had to clap as well but i cringed
Several times about half way through the film to the end. Saw it on Saturday. Any time there was a big moment they clapped. Everyone coming through the gates and such. I started to annoy my friends by joining in and loudly saying "Hey, that's Iron Man!" or "That's Thor!!" or shit like that. A girl was crying next to us when iron man was dying so I clapped when he died, which a couple of other edgelords did as well. I really need to have sex.
Zero. We're not barbaric pieces of shit like amerisharts
wow she is redpilled!! hahaha XD
marry her my man not easy to find a nice redditor õ/
All day everyday
what is your favorite movie my man
Good job user
Speak for yourself, people went nuts when cap grabbed mjolnir and clapped when the movie ended. One guy started clapping when the credits started rolling and more people joined in, it felt like a movie and I actually joined in.
No but maybe because we aren't stupid like you debt-ridden greeks.
It was
t. swede
I actually had a really chill crowd. Maybe mildly disappointing, because I love an energetic audience, but at least there was nobody screaming over dialogue. Fortunately, they still weren't afraid to laugh at jokes and clap for the REALLY big moments such as
>title
>worthy
>"...assemble"
The most touching one though was the audience breaking into applause when Downey's name popped up in the credits. I'm never gonna forget that.
A lot of times. When the title appeared, the 2012 Avengers shot, Cap with Mjolnir, I am Iron Man, when Wanda attacked Thanos, and others. Most times it was embarrassing.
It was incredibly strange because it's literally the first time I've seen it happen (I'm Argentinian).
Just when Captain America picked up Mjollnir
Should be the new banner for Yea Forums
>P.S: im not from the U.S
Of course not. Americans are pathetic, jaded, dark fucks. They're way too fucking "cool" to clap during a movie in front of people.
Only one or two people tried to clap. They went ignored and quickly stopped when they realized they weren't going to be part of an epic youtube compilation
You must be from a boring nation, you fuckin nerd lmao.
I can’t imagine sitting in complete silence while watching a movie
Clapping was invented in America after 9/11 you brainlet
They laughed every time Thor was on screen.

Do Americans really do this? German here and there was no clapping, only a gasp when Steve caught Mjolnir and when Captain Marvel appeared. Complete silence when Tony died.
did thanos replace darth vador as our cultural villainfaaweoiweweatawy?
Matinees are underrated as fuck
lol same here. He tried at least 3 times
Luckily 0. Went to an early showing. Packed, but a super respectful crowd
I saw someone clap and I clapped
That I can remember:
-everyone being summoned by Strange
-when cap grabs the hammer
-at the very end
Actually I'm surprised it was only 3 times, I'm pretty sure there was 1 or 2 more I just can't remember
It's really the best time to see movies
No one clapped at all, but people clapped multiple times in Infinity War. This one just wasn't good.
>All are either attractive, normal, or tall
What did user mean by this? Is he trying to draw attention to how Chadish Jews are?
He cute
I'm sorry for laughing at americans for clapping, people clapped like four times on my showing.
They clapped at:
>Cap grabbing mjolnir
>the female scene
>The end.
A few times, but I kekd when NO ONE clapped when the Kangz walked through the portal
Too many
