This is a useless statement because the vast majority of states require 50/50 splitting of assets for married couples, and alimony if necessary. This is intrinsic to the US's common law system, it was created back when women weren't allowed to work therefore divorce would utterly destroy them. It's also why alimony only happens if the wife chooses not to work and did not have a job during marriage, which builds dependency (and thus, alimony).
And again ALL 50 states have this, with the christcucked states having the worst versions of it because m-muh deadbeat fathers.
