Why didn't Strange just finish stoneless Thanos himself?

If Danvers couldn't even be scratched by Thanos how did Strange not see a future where she 1v1 Thanos and wins? All he had to do was teleport her to Thanos

All he had to do was keep Thanos in an endless loop like he did to Loki in Ragnarok

Why didn't he just do this to Thanos? It worked on Hulk.

Why didn't he just open a miniature portal around Thanos' dick and cut it out?

Story resolution to retire the most expensive actors on the payroll

captain marvel is strong but dumb. epitomised by charging towards the van which gets shot out the way

>trap Thanos in endless freefall
>create small portal to cut off Thanos's gloved hand like his buddy did to the big monster on earth
>trap Thanos in endless alt-verse time loop
>trap Thanos in the mirror-verse where he can't effect reality

There are multiple ways Strange cuold have beaten Thanos, but Thanos was protected by plotshield for the sake of the narrative of the story.

why didn't large antman just step on thanos during the big battle.

if they're able to make portals large enough to bring in armies why didn't they just portal under thanos' army into the middle of a volcano/under the sea?

Because he's an invincible purple guy when the script says so. Goddamn it I feel like I'm the only person that thought it was crap with good points even though I've watched all of these movies since iron man

>ability to control time
>resourts to throwing magic balls
>strongest avenger
clearly not the smartest tho

>hulk snaps everyone back
>thanos attacks
>go to extraordinary lengths to try and get stones back to their times
>passing that gauntlet between eachother and almost dying for no reason
>end up just snapping away thanos's army and returning them at a later date.

What was the logic in this scene. If they successfully got into the van and returned the stones, Thanos still essentially fucks earth beyond repair with his army anyway.

Why didn't any of the people who had the gauntlet just hold it and use it immediately to do what Iron Man did. Couldn't captain feminism have taken the gauntlets power without dying.

Mmm, all who had lot of protagonism and cool scenes in Infinity War did very little in Endgame and viceversa bar Iron Man (understandable he's pretty much the MC of Marvel)

It was an emotional conclusion to the MCU, not a reasonable one. It really is that simple.

Plus apparently directors love to masturbate their egos with making it a deliberate point of engaging in "subverting expectations" of fans.

The only excuse for Strange not destroying Thanos is that he saw some bigger threat in the future and they needed to defeat Thanos the way they did to deal with that threat later.

Thanos without stones would get fucked by Avengers. His army was already almost defeated before the snap. Hell, witch almost soloed him.

I think the logic was that if they're returned, Thanos ends up in the situation the Avengers were at the beginning of End Game. No stones, can't do shit. They were winning the fight against Thanos once everyone got ported in. It's flimsy logic but I think it worked for just a bunch of good-aligned heroes who are making shit up as they go.

Like, pretty sure Captain Marvel from the comics at least would not use the gauntlet to snap even the bad guys.

Don't Witch's powers come from the mind stone? how can she be so fucking powerful? same with fucking Cap Marvel

Yeah the only reason Thanos was able to tangle with strange was that he had a few stones at that point. In Endgame, when Thanos has no stones, Strange would absolutely wreck him.

>Don't Witch's powers come from the mind stone?
No.
>how can she be so fucking powerful?
Scarlet Witch is powerful enough in the comics that during a shitfit she once rewrote reality to erase mutants. They powered her down immensely for AoU and IW. You could bullshit and say she grew soft while Vision was banging her and her grief made her stronger, but really it's just them raising her power level up close to where it belongs.

Tony was also a big threat. He needed him to die so everyone could be happy.

>His army was fucked
Not really. Several relevant characters were about to die.

This. Tony was a genius who invented fucking time travel. He needed to die before fucking up the world even more.

thats because she loses every time simple logic

Did someone save the greentext about how OP Strange is? Like in the comic books the amount of crazy shit he does.

It's possible they think they might lose this battle and the stones never got back to their original timeline, dooming more innocent people. Or worse, Thanos gets his hand on this one and they lose everyone in every affected timeline. Not the logical think people do in a battle but still an explanation

I mean, she was able to do stop him from doing the big snap again, but once he started fighting her back he just punched her into orbit.

>TEXTWALL

The space bar is useful for more than the single space in between words, bruh.

Why didn't he judt teleport Thanos to Dormammu so they can kill each other?

>sees gorillions of futures
>doesnt see the one where Tony grabs the stones and just flies away while captain marvel flies into everyone killing then instantly
he probably just hated Tony now hes gonna fuck his wife

>large antman
His name is actually Giant-Man when he's that big. Yes, really.
