Anyone remember Westworld?

The first season was really good but the second sucked ass. Will there even be a 3rd?

Yes and only 1 episode sucked in S2. Unironically still better than snore of thrones

I disliked everything about Season 2.

I hate how they left all stories, characters and locations behind for a much more boring story.

Im skipping thru the 1st season now. Why did the gook decide to help the black whore? He got countless real humans killed for some robot jizz receptacle

i think you meant only 1 episode was good in s2.

>only 1 episode sucked in S2
I'm curious which one that is because I remember that only two episodes didn't suck.

Shogun world was boring as hell. Everything else was pretty good. Remember that ex machina episode? Ep 3 I'm pretty sure. That was kino as fuck episode

Ep3 and the Native episode were the only good ones. The rest sucked especially Shogun World and the finale.

>Native episode
Sigh

Teddy offing himself was hardcore and MIB had a great episode

I think you mean Ep 4, Riddle of the Sphinx. That was the best.
Kiksuya was great too, but it had such little to do with the overall plot that it was basically a filler. A welcome one, admittedly, because the main storylines were mostly awful.

You hated the episode revolving around Akecheta?
That was pure tv kino user, how could you not like it?

S2 wasn't all terrible. There was the great arc with Akecheta. That was sadly the only good thing. Except maybe for the snake and dragon but they never fucked each other

>I think you mean Ep 4, Riddle of the Sphinx
Yeah I did, sorry.
>it was basically a filler
Filler doesn't always mean bad though.

I reckon that Westworld S2 is actually a pretty good story, but the way its told is utter crap. In s1, the multiple timelines twist was awesome and it really brought everything together. They tried to replicate this in S2... for absolutely no reason at all. There was no payoff. It just made the show harder to follow with zero purpose.

Then there's a problem with a lack of characters you can actually root for. The show is trying really hard to push the "robots are the good guys" angle, but most of the hosts acted fucking horribly in S2, especially Dolores. And she's meant to be the main character... at least S1 consistently had Robert, and William wasn't a pussy whipped retard either. S2 is just kill kill kill and humans are the bad guys btw.

Based thread making me want to watch S2 again

S2 is like the opposite end of GoT S8. Instead of for normies and plebs, it's for pseudo-intellectuals which are just as bad if not worse. God that season was shit.

It was a decent idea but the "diversity" ruined it. how many negro scientists involved in big projects and trusted with any sort of real responsibility do you know? I think a mullatoo invented the super-soaker. Can't think of any other.

lots of great moments ruined by Dolores arc. Her character went to so much shit as Wyatt

You mean 1 episode was good in season 2 and that was the episode that was a complete homage to a season 1 episode.

Maeve is even worse
It's meant to be this super emotional storyline as she's seeking her daughter. Except everyone, including her knows that it's a fake. So why would anyone feel emotionally invested? And she has a merry band of retards following her everywhere, which is actually even worse.

The shootout at the fort is legit maybe the worst directed scene from a HBO product since The Sopranos football scene.

They legit ran at a fort with P90's.

Sweet guns

>season 1 spend entire season planning master heist because you can't do X
>season 2 just do X

both stories were bad, I can't say which one was truly worse. Dolores arc pissed me off when she fucked over Teddy. At the end of the day all of the good plot points in S1 and during the Akecheta arc seem to tell a different story than the bullshit that Maeve and Dolores were doing. The doorway and satellite uplink seemed to be a cop out of a wall the writers wrote themselves into. I thought the story was going to go in a more tangible physical realization of belonging than something as stupid as AI heaven. Maeve doesn't even get to be with her daughter even after all of the bullshit she put everyone through. It was definitely stupid.

Season 3 is confirmed for next year. Hopefully it's the last.

Probably ratings dropped significantly in S2, and the set was completely destroyed by the fires in Cali so I imagine most of the budget will go to remaking that.

I thought season 1 was pretty good, minus all the retarded scenes with the black lady. Season 2 had more retarded scenes with the black lady and retarded shootouts. Overall season 2 was pretty bad

Could've been a great miniseries and was obviously originally written as one. The Lost tier mystery bullshit they clearly just threw in to keep it going ruined it. At least some of stand alone episodes in season 2 were still good.

The set that got destroyed IIRC wasn't that important.
Pretty sure the ratings are still fine for HBO standards, its just not the next GoT as they hoped.
Which is probably why they're trying to get so many GoT spinoffs going.

If only Evan Rachel Wood burned down with the set.

>white girl lusting at BBC

ONLY ON HBO!

Stopped watching it halfway through season 2. Not sure if it was just me or it really became shit thought

>LESBIAN white girl

fixed

She threatens him w violence

>The show is trying really hard to push the "robots are the good guys" angle

Except they're not. They're showing that the robots are pretty and murderous too. Delores was an antagonist in S2. Bernard is the good guy and he was the main character of S2, since the displaced narratives revolved around his memories.
