On the contrary. A "good" (faithful to the series) Sonic movie would only appeal to such an audience. This is Batman and Robin levels of bizarre. I unironically have an interest in this movie while I would be indifferent to some anime style adaptation.

The whole trailer I was getting vibes of that, it's probably gonna be worse though, that was some confusing high concept cyberpunk Mario while this is basically PG Ted meets Sonic and Spykids
