Ramin Djawadi is a Remote Control Productions shill who wrote crap for the first few seasons of GOT before slightly improving on the others. Imagine if Howard Shore wrote generic crap for the first Lord of the Rings and then said "Hmm, the scope of this should allow for good music now..."? Djawadi was a last minute replacement for Stephen Warbeck, who was fired after the filmmakers decided they wanted a Hans Zimmer clone to to be trendy. Nothing that Djawadi wrote prior to GOT should have at all qualified him to score an epic fantasy. Okay, Howard Shore wrote mostly horror before he was chosen for LOTR after his music was temp-tracked in, but most of Djawadi's previous scoring was downright laughable and artistically disqualifying.

He does all this leitmotif stuff but the themes and music itself are just eh. Da da dada da da dada da da dada da da dada da da dada da da dada, etc. A 10-year-old could've written that main theme. The mystical stuff is alright but the action music is generic trash. Everything here pales in comarison to LOTR and the Hobbit's scores. GOT had the canvas for epic scores but Djawadi just takes it and dumbs it down like any faithful servant of Remote Control Productions. GOT should be rescored by a more capable composer.

It's even worse for me. I pay for HBO and usually don't even watch Thrones on it.

They think of cool and "epic" moments for NPCs to gasp over and write the script around those moments.
That's the only way i can explain it.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt these last few seasons, thinking they just needed to get all the set pieces in place for this final chapter of the story. That writing a story like this is harder than it seems.
But the last episode was such a fucking clusterfuck and the fixes are so easy, it's painful.
The hard truth is that D&D are absolute frauds. They weaseled their way into this position profiting off GRRMs books.
What pisses me off the most is that they don't seem to care anymore. They are not even trying to finish this show in any resemblance to how it started. The story is completely detached from any lore or internal logic. The characters are only reflections of how the average viewer sees him.
You could legit compress this last episode into a 30 second gif with the story still intact.
