Objectively, I still think even the Mario movie had SOME value to be found. As a final product, its by no means a good movie, but it has some inspiration and cool ideas in there. The set design, costumes, practical effects and the general look and atmosphere of the world are pretty cool and unique, and it has a good musical score, too. Plus Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper are all honestly wonderful in it, even in spite of the stupid writing. Its a mess as a final product, but its not just completely soulless, uninspired drivel, its more full of a lot of potentially good ideas and aspects that went awry or didn't come together well. I honestly still give it more credit than the average, Marvel dreck. Those movies are definitely more competent as a final product, but are completely and totally uninspired and creatively bankrupt.

I seriously dont understand this. Like Sonic was marginally popular once the Sega was new, maybe he had a friendly rivalry with Mario in the early 90's. But that where he stopped as far as i know. Sega failed at every stage to create any game system that could compete with Nintendo, playstation and xbox. Not only that, the Sonic games that released on their shit platforms were also trash. How the fuck is this asshole still alive?! Thats the first part. Second part; How the fuck did they manage to make him look as shitty as he does?! There are more convincing effects in Brawl In Cell Block 99 than this? Is his disgusting a design an "homage" to how horrible his games are? Is it a joke?! Its like trying to understand what a Black Hole is, this is legit giving me a headache!
To add to it, say whatever the fuck you want to say about the MCU, it took a tone and ran with it. Trailer did copy the tone, this is why people don't care for it. OP thinks people are sheep for realizing this is just some corporate sludge made to springboard into the MCU generation, when it's the opposite. People tolerate CG quip fests because the MCU perfected it, it's what it is. Making a copy of it comes off as desperate, as a corporation trying to be hip. Reminder that Iron Man wasn't a massive movie and had it's script made of improv. MCU BECAME gigantic and corporate as time went along, but by then people were on board. If anything this trailer reaction gives me hope for movie goers. Contain their shit to the MCU. Let other movies breathe and be something else.

Just have Ratchet be teleported to the Bogan Galaxy with no ties to anyone in the Solaris. They can figure out what to do with Fizzwidget/Qwark.
