I try to refrain from acting to spergy. This is what happens to everything that become mainstream, it starts pandering to casual viewers which the majority of the population is. The only thing to take solace in is the fact that these people will probably lose interest one day and move on to the next thing.

I don't think that is acceptance. It's a mix of all the previous 4.
Denial that she show ending will be adequate.
Anger with the swears.
Bargaining that the TV ending will be enough for you.
Depression that the TV ending is all you'll ever have and you have to live with it as some sort of curse.
True acceptance would be acknowledging that the books will never get finished and you wasted precious moments of your life getting invested in it but that's OK because shit happens and it's not the end of the world.
