I didn't have any theories. I was ready to learn more about the Night King, whatever they came up with. I wanted the chance to see the big baddy become more than an Blu Maul necromancer, for the fantasy plotline to take on the intricacies of the political plot lines. I didn't expect Bran to fight the Night King, but I thought he would say or do something important. I thought the Night King would say or do something important.
