god how i miss season 1

Azor Petyr

Just like that asian pumpkin rammed the ex stormtrooper out of the air.

So the NK always knew where Bran was so it was not bait. What the hell was the purpose of him warging inside the crows???? Why didnt he make himself useful?

God, Young Cersei is literally perfect.
CUTE & FUNNY AND CUNTY.
Imagine her sitting on your face, rubbing her cunt on your mouth while bullying your cock with her smol feet.

When did the show start being made for these drones? I can't imagine this regard actually enjoying the political intrigue of the early seasons.

f for the boy

got overrun by zeds in the first 10 seconds and saved by jamie
then somehow survived until the end

It's better, but he still has no possible way to be the Azor Ahai, nor does he have any representation of the Lightbringer.

It's only better because it would have been a very flawed and tragic character doing something to make their existence worthwhile. Instead we got a super-ninja little girl stealth kill the big bad in front of his entire army.

>Um how use sword?

Attached: sansa.jpg (750x681, 77K)

At first I thought it was Maester Luwin that first popped out the crypt. Then I thought he wouldn't be buried in the Stark crypt, right?

>penishead Stark armor
Kek. Rest is kino though

Please tell me she wins.

she didn't die after like 4 times of being surrounded by wights
thats not cool its just plot armor but normies dont care

Here /got/ I tried to fix Sam's presence and decisions in season 8 to make him not fucking useless
>Sam offers Jorah Heartbane, Jorah refuses as he knows Sam is all that's left of House Tarly after what his Queen did
>Sam doesn't insist on going to the front lines, goes to the crypts
>Battle plays out much the same, things are clearly going to shit above
>Night King does his reanimation shenanigans, chaos down in the crypts
>Gillie gets attacked by a wight, dies
>Sam has to kill wight Gillie to protect their baby, shoves Heartsbane through her heart
>Pull out the sword, now ablaze
>After all his reading at the Citadel, he knows what this means
>For the first time, he is truly unafraid
>Battles his way out of the crypt, is joined by Jon in the courtyard who helps him cut his way toward the Night King
>Less fucking Wights/White Walkers in the Godswood because the way D&D wrote it is dumb, literally impossible for anyone to win without Arya's >teleports behind you. The majority of the fighting would be in the courtyard with the main characters, some of whom actually die
>Sam and Jon reach the godswood just in time to see the last of the Ironborn dying
>When Theon dies Jon enrages and charges the Night King. One of his White Walker generals tries to stop him but Jon cuts through him and reaches the Night King
>The Night King parries and stabs him in the stomach with his ice sword, Jon falls
>Night King is about to finish off Jon when he notices Sam step into view, and realises Sam is far more important
>Night King and Sam have a duel, a song of Ice and Fire - Sam is noticeable not mmiraculously a master swordsman just because he has the sword but he manages to prevail
>Drops the sword onto the ground, fire goes out. Runs over to Jon
>As Jon bleeds into the snow, he looks up at Sam and says one final line: "Sam the Slayer..."
>AZOR SAM

Attached: samwell-tarly.jpg (1920x1080, 218K)

only way to redeem the show, so no

no chance

This guy has shit-tier combat skills and managed to survive the swarm of wights throughout the whole battle. I wouldn't be mad at him surviving if he stayed in the crypts. But why have him participate in the fight and then give him immense plot armor. I don't get it. How can anyone like this episode?

Attached: sam.jpg (950x534, 102K)

WAUGHHHH!

*honk*

Attached: 1556510173442.jpg (8891x8758, 2.82M)

Please post the coldsteel/arya comic updated with the NK

How will Euron's blood eye come into play?

Can I get a quick rundown on all the deaths this episode?

>Okay is anyone else kind of happy Jon wasn't the hero? He always is. how predictable would that been?

I totally agre-

>Episode 3 was the women's time to shine

And dropped.

It should have been Jaime, Bran, or Daenerys. Although Jaime didn't really have any stake in the NK plot, he basically abandoned his story to go fight for the living, so if he made some sacrifice to defeat the NK that would have been fine with me.

Arya had little to no stake in the NK plot. I want to see her kill Cersei, but not now. She had her hero's moment and it made no fucking sense in her hero journey. I honestly probably would have been slightly more alright with Arya killing the NK if the kill wasn't so laughably bad.

Dolorous Edd deserved better than this

Attached: fuck you Sam.webm (888x500, 2.92M)

Baratheon > Bolton > Arryn > Powergap > Penishead > rest

god, the person responsible for costuming is an utter retard. she looks like she should be in some weird foreign sci-fi film from the early 80's

>and then we see our main characters fighting against the zombies in the courtyard

Sounds great, D&D, but didn't the courtyard get overrun by zombies twenty minutes ago, when the giant came through?

>Yes

And the wights came over the wall and killed everyone?

>Yes

And, as we established in the first twenty minutes, the wights are such an unstoppable force that ten thousand Dothraki were killed in a literal minute?

>Yes

So don't you think we should have made them less unstoppable and the defense stronger so our main characters surviving becomes plausible, just like at Helm's Deep, where we always see a nucleus of surviving troops organized around out heroes?

>No

an aged version of him played by GRRM is going to be the final scene of the series
your just know it's gonna happen

My deck has no pathetic cards Night "King".

Attached: 1556510173446.jpg (5431x5346, 2.64M)

Jon has never killed a major villain in the show. He deserved to be a hero for once.

no. but shes gonna burn dany alive

Season 7 and upward is everyone wearing black. Fucking lame.

Steven

Mormont
Duke
Cherise
Deville
Xarzarma

The Lannister and Stark helmets look kind of retarded in hindsight

Aren't we all kinda missing the point?

Is the problem with the episode REALLY the fact that Arya kills the Night King, or is it first of all that the NK is killed at all, and his army of the dead vanquished completely?

The ancient enemy, the immense threat that trivialised all politics in its presence, destroyed in a single battle without even a glimpse of explanation.

Dogshit series.

Attached: thonk.png (640x640, 820K)

Tell me about Dayne, why does he wield dawn?
it's an important sword
for your house

He wears reusable leather diapers. Hodor used to take them and fling the contents at trees, sometimes hitting birds or other animals

I loved his strategy of lying on his fat ass while being surrounded by wights.

>devotes his whole arc to defeating the NK
>his shit sister killsteals and renders him useless

Powerful.

Basically this, Arya being the one to kill him is just the shit cherry on top of this shit pie

>Freys "Just a coif will do"
>Martells "you are like a little baby, watch this"

Most useless main character. How the fuck is she still alive

Where does Dinklage stand from a 0 to "I'm fucking done with this shit" scale?

Attached: 1556586694181.jpg (1920x6480, 1.92M)

>arya is shown struggling to hide from a few braindead zombies in the library earlier in the episode
>effortlessly slips past all the elite White Walkers in the open later on
The more you think about everything to do with this episode the worse it gets. There are so many levels of retardation to this writing. They really outdid themselves this time, this genuinely makes every terrible prior episode look just fine by comparison.

Attached: 1549852553167.jpg (717x767, 80K)

>the dark haired one

he's so pitiful that ww dont kill him
maybe he will become the next nk to get revenge on dany by stabbing himself in the heart as he read in some book

Why didn't Jon light the trench with Rhaegal? Dany was up in the clouds but Jon was sitting on the wall, right next to the trench.

Does anybody have the DMC edit of season 1 Jaime fighting Ned Stark?

Jorahs death was good at least

He's at the "Hello how do you do neighbor?" stage

>without even a glimpse of explanation.
Remember to watch the prequel for the real explanation

>How will Euron's blood eye come into play?

In the show, his blood eye is just what he calls his urethra.

Why did they make Dawn look like fucking shit, but Heartsbane/Widows Wail/Oathkeeper are all autistically detailed? Jesus Christ that sun design on the pommel looks like something a child drew on a sidewalk in chalk.

>His what? I don't remember.
t. D&D

The costumes and sets are the only reason this show took off.

It's both but what really bothers me in that arya is apperently so fucking fast she actually creates a gust of wind.

I think it depends on where the signal was and where he was at. Wasn't he by the Godwoods?

It's both.

The Walkers should have savaged the land, it should have been a LONG war (you know, like the long night) that leaves human civilisation on the precipice of being destroyed. Many people should have died for reasons that made sense. Then your "subversion" is who the Azor Ahai really is (see : Not Jon or Danny, but someone who the prophecy applies to) and how they "forge" the Lightbringer/whatever the Lightbringer really is.

>this council will go down in Westerosi history for their military genius and legendary heroism

melisandre was based, but dany and arya were just pure cringe

Baratheon and Greujoy are great, others are okay, exept stak cuz it looks like a photoshoped version of a real helmet.

Also the trench in no way actually hindered the wights, in fact more unsullied might have been able to retreat without the trench blocking them

This level

>god, the person responsible for costuming is an utter retard.

I think it's great. The mix of metal and red velvet calls to mind the analogy of the velvet gauntlet.

YOU STUPID FUCKS

Did she forget Dany was practically useless and was protected by Jorah?

I'm gonna miss posting Azor Theon bros...

The concept of it was I suppose but it was still executed fairly poorly.

Season 2 brienne's armor was cool. So was season 1's loras

Will Sam be buttmad because his best friend looked him in the eye and still left him to be eaten by wights

>I loved his strategy of lying on his fat ass while being surrounded by wights.

very firest episode, as with all jew media. you are just too dumb to see it.

>Lannister helmets

>no more Azor Jaime posting

Attached: 6E17ADE7-7B47-4625-ADD6-A30FF941EEC8.jpg (630x353, 38K)

Jorah only died because his character was long pointless and they needed to kill off some "important" characters so you would feel something.

It was not, at all, a satisfying conclusion to his character's arc.

how is that even tyrions fault? everyone who was at hardhomeknows what the nk is capable of. bran even saw skeletons being ressurected

So the Glovers were right to just fuck off.

So you're telling me that an undead dragon really killed zero relevant characters? Fuck, the more I think about it the worse it gets.

ah yes, so happy they had sansa, arya, and lyanna mormont on that council, they sure have fought in a lot of battles!

I shapposhe she didn't die last episode then?

Even if Jon and Dany kill Cersei, why would the Westerosi nobles and smallfolk accept them as rulers?

I thought the whole point was that they would unite the realm against the WW which would legitimize their rule

>GET UP SAM x5
>Edd gets killed for this fat fuck
Nah Sam can eat shit and die

I don't watch this shit. What happened to Mance Rayder in the show? Because that nigga is still alive in the books.

No. I think most of us have hated the show for a couple seasons now

He literaly died as he lived protecting his incompitent queen, at least he was spared the mercy of seeing his house go extinct.

Bottom left would either be non-descript kingsguard armor, or Dayne armor. Not Targaryen because he's not a Targ

dude it been seriously dumb since season 5. get over it

why would a bookfag still be defending the show past maybe season 4?

>tfw lyanna mememont is the fact of the northern lords in the show
It hurts.

>honky honky bathing in friend tears

There was no Rattleshirt glamor spell, so Stannis was burning him alive. Jon killed him with a mercy arrow.

I feel as if some actors are about as done as we are
Really fucking done, but too far in to stop
Guys like Ed Skrein made the right choice and abandon ship while it was still good

alright the onion is based

Why is varys still in existence, why does he still have lines.

Explain her

I
CAN'T
SEE
ANYTHING

Should have made fire trenches to funnel the wights into Unsullied blockades instead of completely blocking the path.

And have the catapults farther down. And while they were making war machines, have some bolt throwers done, paired up with a chain or Dragonglass studded rope between them.

They are not only tactically inept, they are also creatively barren.

every bookfag gave up years ago
this was so bad even some showfags gave up

This made me LOL. But seriously, paraplegics have to do some pretty undignified stuff.

Well we all know GRRM likes to describe people taking a shit in detail

I can't. This is beyond season 5's stupidity by an order of magnitude. It's unbelievably bad. I can't get over it.

Attached: JUST.jpg (600x581, 46K)

Was Game of Thrones always this popular by far-leftist women?

Because the whole plot was built upon the legend of Azor Ahai and NisaNisa.
The hero born of Salt and Smoke, of the Mad King, wielding the legendary blade known as Lightbringer, who sacrifices someone he loves to save the world and defeat the Long Night.
It was an extremely well threaded plot that they shat on for the sake of SUBVERTING EXPECTATIONS, because it literally makes zero sense for Ayra to kill Night King.
The legend of Azor Ahai is constantly mentioned and built upon, even in the fucking show, with Melly Sanders calling people the "Price who was Promised", making fire swords etc.
They ruined the whole mythos for Azor Ayra xD.
It's called a Song of Ice and Fooking Fire for a reason, not A Song of Ayra the Queen.

I
Can't
See
Anything
Either

Would he be proud of his wife now?

Attached: screen-shot-2016-05-17-at-20-55-07.png (767x431, 153K)

So was everyone who decided not to help them

in awe at the size of that lad manderly

The only season that is good from a bookfag perspective is season 1. Even then it has it's problems, but they're forgivable. Because the scenes that were left out were too abstract to properly film in a tv show.

Didn't stop Stannisfags

She works for the god of death without knowing. It's a fact that after this there are a lot of dead people and undeads too got back to their legitimate owner.

That depends on what her tax policy is.

Fuck off Sansa fag

Attached: 5s9r6gok0n721.jpg (1534x1946, 222K)

not only that but an undead dragon capable of breathing fire through a castle wall couldn’t hit Jon behind a knee high bit of rubble

The worst thing is, I begin watching the episode thinking that I couldn't possibly have any expectation left to be ruined by DABID
But then it turned out I actually still had some expectations, and DABID had just stoned them yet again

Attached: 1555356539513.jpg (753x707, 29K)

What are they going to do? Throw mud at the two people with dragons?

Considering he's going to be executed for some lol wtf betrayal drama at the end of the series I bet he's kinda pissed and knows the fans will be too provided it's a total shit show which I mean come on the odds are extremely high at this point that these kikes are just ruining it on purpose like they did with star wars. It was even the same fucking playbook.

Jon knew that Sam wears WW repellent
Seriously, how many time this fat fuck is saved

>He literaly died as he lived protecting his incompitent queen

Yeah. In short, he had no character development at all and then he died to make you feel sad. It's trash.

His character became Thormund.

Thormund is a one dimensional character that people love, so he's much easier to write for TV than Mance.

Not even being cynic, it was the right choice, it's just a shame Thormund got flanderized so hard.

>supppsedly the fight of endtimes
>95%of cast survives

How can this possibly be defended? Even pic related would be a more realistic plan.

Attached: signal-2019-04-30-004946.png (1024x768, 409K)

Jon never gets to be the hero, he’s presented as such but hasn’t had the significant fight/kill against a major enemy this was his moment desu. Jaime was who I wanted and the “kingslayer” title being turned into a positive would have been amazing, jojens fire hand with Jaimes golden hand bursting into flames as he becomes Azor Ahai, Jaime always being the hero of humanity as he’s arguably the most human character with flaws but striving to do the right thing and the difficulties of all of that.

But nope Arya. Seriously wtf were they thinking, tons of other characters could have had cool fitting moments here she did not need this kill and did not deserve this kill.

He is the little bird spymaster. In reality he just mumbles in the shadows about how Dany is a good queen.

Mysterious person with no backstory who did things for mysterious reasons that were never revealed, acted as deus ex machina cos muh magic then died with no real explanation or resolution to the character

>Westerosi nobles
They don’t exist anymore

DELETE THIS

Attached: 1556373557288.png (472x624, 167K)

They were great at the beginning, for the most part (Margaery looked silly in S2). But they started getting super weird in later seasons. Sci-Fi BDSM gear type shit. They always had detailing and stich work that was beyond the setting, and that was fine because it was more subtle, but they seem to have gone overboard with it..a lot of absurd machined metalwork and costumes that are completely out of place.

Attached: game-of-thrones-season-7-costumes-7.jpg (2560x1336, 252K)

>All cavalry dead, only faggoty infantry living
>No rape policy
>The dead have little plunder
Nah man, he mad

yes, hence why sansa's rape got panned even though it made perfect sense in the context of the story and was a pivotal moment in both sansa and ramsay's character arcs

There's all sorts of retards out there.

>A valiant effort dragon queen, but nothing can stop me from implementing my reforms to inheritance tax

Attached: all smiles.jpg (300x420, 34K)

They never added his main plot point into the show, which at the same time gave them no reason to kill him either. He has no reason to exist while having no reason to die because of retarded show writing.

no it's no every stupid choice they've made since going non book canon is as stupid as the last. Arya getting stabbed and then surviving everything was just as stupid. Killing off Barristan Selmy for no reason at all... Leaving Darrio in Essos etc etc etc the show could barely recover that why I turned by brain off the exact moment they dropped the Tysha back story.

They could've repealed the no rape rule for this fight tbqh

Just read the books, faggot. At this rate, the final two books will never come out, so if you're planning on killing yourself after the series ends, you'll just die of old age.

I fucking love her bros.

Attached: 1546777963318.jpg (1080x1349, 154K)

The show died all the way back in S2 when Jaime was prisoner and he killed his cousin with a rock in order to escape then got captured again 5 minutes later making him a kinslayer for absolutely no reason.

>westerosi nobles
Who?

>actually has a tax policy

user, nothing about Sansa being sold to Boltons made any sense. It was just funny.

The whole sons of the harpy storyline set up that Dany didn't just have to win the war but had to win over the people

I guess they dumped all that because they had to shit out a hurried ending

Did he abandon ship? I thought it was some scheduling thing.

Why couldn't the writers wait until the author was done with his books?

You're not wrong.

brutal. Poor Nichola Craster-Woldorf literally spent the entire episode swinging a sword with one hand at extras. He didn't even get a good scream, iirc. His job was to react to people screaming.

Does he have a response to the Iron Bank's most powerful weapon, compound interest?

He had one or two lines. The talk about Jon & Dany getting married and the you got no balls talk with Tyrion.

The Golden Company is in the show. Even with no fAegon, he might turn them and still play a role with Cersei's downfall.

>NK > named character plot armour > Arya
In order of badness.

great body

Everyone likes cavalry charges. Why you fags must be so contrarian that you need to bring strategy to annihilate all sort of entertainment?

It was scheduling for the Hobbit movies
But at the time it seemed a bit weird, it was clear that GoT was way bigger already than the Hobbit, so I guess he also choose to abandon ship

Those eyes don't look human.

GRRM hasn't been writing shit and even when D&D had material the show was already diverging.

>faggots actually want Cersei to win
cringe, the ideal ending is Euron or Harry taking over.

Ofcourse, user...The NK's secret weapon against the iron bank was going to be his impeccably executed tax plan

This was it though. This was the climax of the plot introduced in the very first scene of the series. The be all and end all. And it was ended with a fucking knife trick.
I still had expectations. I still expected a generic boss battle with Jon Snow. I expected some noteworthy deaths at the very least. Some noble sacrifices from non-literal whos like Beric. It's the last season, so they have no reason not to kill off a few fan favourites. Somehow they managed to sink far lower than the predictable shlock I thought was coming.

It's fucking Homeless Harry Strickland though! The most worthless member of Aegon's group. He's literally there to get burned alive by Dany and Jon's dragons.

Yeah. They were. Now it wouldn't even shit itself before I boar it whore

How many seasons needs to pass until her hair grows back or they keep it short on purpose because >>Muh feminism

I know you're baiting, but honestly the reason why we started watching this show was that despite the magic stuff happening at the periphery of the world, the show was grounded in realism
Political intrigue, logical battle movements, winning over the support of others, all that stuff
Now it's just medieval MCU
And if I want dumb simple spectacle, I watch Marvel flicks

Seeing the dothraki off all people die so easily was hilarious though.

Attached: 342422.png (500x347, 172K)

And guess who has the great body necklace now...

Have you seen how poorly everyone in this show has aged over the last 8 years? Imagine stretching it out for 20 years.

Looks cool

They're pulling off the ancient anime/JRPG trope where a female character cuts her hair after experiencing a loss

Quick question:
Any particular reason why the NK survives dragonfire?

Yes, but since S5 they have vowing to boycott the show - conspicuously - but I don't think any of them ever really did. "Guilty pleasures" are an integral part of being a idealist. Feminists are hardly an exception.

Why had you to die so early Arthur ? You could have saved this show.

>The Night King doesn't even get to use his sword once, doesn't even handle it.
>Stabs Theon through a plate, human body, plate again, with a broken wooden spear
>None of the Walkers get to fight, not a single Walker gets to swing his weapon, or do anything at all
>There wasn't a final fight between the Night King with his Commanders and at least some of the main cast, who are to actually known fighters, Clegane, Brienne, Jaime, Jon, Tormund and okay, Arya too.
>A several minute battle between the above sides, with injuries and deaths, while the dragons are keeping the area around the woods clear of wights, and the lesser characters are seen defending the women and children in the crypts, Podrick, Grey Worm, Davos, even Tyrion and Sam being lesser fighters, still giving all they have furiously for their life(and their Sansa and Gilly's)
>Bran being useless for the entire episode, could have been doing SOMETHING at least, to help them deliver the final blows to the Night King. We've seen they are somehow connected through warging, Bran could have tried using whatever powers he had (unexplained anyway, as far as we know, he could do whatever) to mess with the Night King's head, lessen his command on the wights, probably turn some of them on each other.
>Battle with the wights still seems lost, outside with the remaining armies and around the crypts.
>Bran manages to DDOS the Night King and weaken him for a few moments, thus allowing a combined attack from Jon, Jaime and Arya, throwing themselves for a killing blow, seeing as their comrades were losing the fight to the walkers.
>The killing blow is being delivered, by and suddenly instead of collapsing, white walkers and wights stop fighting and begin retreating. Night King's body melts to reveal a more normal human looking figure, blue glow in his eyes turns to normal eye-colour, then dies.

The Night King is defeated in the end, but not by an Anime kill, instead, an actual fight.

Unironically, what on earth were they thinking here?

After the first 10 minutes, during the Dothraki charge, i just had to go out and buy more booze to endure the incoming pain. Then two more times, once after Edd died and then the crypts.
Whole episode is fucking retarded, in many, many ways and i was kind of hoping it's some late April Fool's day joke, but boy was i wrong. Now i have a nasty hangover and my neck hurts.

Danny and Jon win and they ride off into the sunset on their dragons roll credits.

Attached: 54334.jpg (800x450, 84K)

Probably because walker's aren't weak to fire and he perpetuates an aura of frost that protects him.

Not that the aura makes any sense, with Arya jumping at him.

3 more episode... it's not the climax

just turn ur brein off lmao

Maybe because he was created by dragonglass, i don't know, magic and shit

>Aegon VI will be the final boss in the books
Yes!

Attached: 1506034693952354.jpg (817x460, 90K)

Who? Dany? Jon?

>I fucking love her bros.
how can you be in love with her brothers when she's so cute? Personally, if I were a fag, I think she would turn me straight.

the true NK is not dead idiots

Woe to the usurper had we not died at the Tower of Joy.
By the way R+L=J is bullshit.
R+L=D and N+A=J

Attached: GeroldHightower-Profile.jpg (650x700, 92K)

I'm very sure Dinklage has mentally checked out of this series and is just holding his tongue as best as he can. He used to have clever dialogue, he used to have development, he won three Emmys for this shit, but now his character is just a snarking wine aunt in all but body.

I'm half baiting. I agree on what you say but battles have never been logical, especially when Jon was somewhere near the leaders preparing the strategy. Battle of bastards was top retardation. Ramsey did relatively good, but Jon was strategically terrible. What open field battle have we seen that shown some logic? We either saw brutes getting rekt or sieges.

Yeah, likely.

It's a little tiresome though, because then Jon & Dany need an asspulled army to beat Cersei. They got decimated by the wights.

Probably Sweetrobin's remaining knights in the Vale or Edmure magically replenishing the Riverlands with soldiers.

BASED

Same reason he died from Valyrian steel (dragon fire forged weapons). That reason being the show is fucking stupid.

>Euron and Harry become gay emperors of Westeros

>The Dothraki have been extinguished as a culture

Attached: 1555275639405.png (435x535, 287K)

Why didn’t they have any soldiers or even just a couple swords in the crypt anyway? Were they just expected to face the slaughter in the worst case that the crypt gets breached?

did anyone find that scene where the night king falls really goofy?

Also if you were book fag you'd know about the theory that NK is a red herring and the real enemy of the series is war/fudalism aka Euron+Cersei

Imagine if the wight giant tried to use Lyanna as a onahole haha

This and Theon's

Jon has very rarely been the hero
At the Wall, he was saved by Stannis
At Winterfell, he was saved by Sansa and Littlefinger
At Hardhome, he ran away

the more you look at Jon's actions the more you realise he's fucked up and lost far more than he's won

the dude's never killed an important character either

All the intellectual characters of the early seasons that are still around have become shells of themselves. They have zero uses anymore it's ridiculous.

>The show died all the way back in S2 when Jaime was prisoner and he killed his cousin with a rock in order to escape then got captured again 5 minutes later making him a kinslayer for absolutely no reason.
Shit like this and the last episode make me wonder if this entire show is just one big long morality shit test. It's like how much "gray morality" and depraved bullshit can you tolerate without going fully into acceptance? Jamie is not a good person. He's a fucking psycho and yet the show was trying to make him /ourguy/.

Especially since Tyrion was widely one of the most popular characters till season 7 rolled around. People complained about most characters, but Tyrion was almost universally enjoyed.

>he forgot about the forty other hordes who are still alive and rampaging around Essos

DAVOS
A
V
O
S

He will have some amazing tits next episode

Is the Tyrion Treason (TM) actually going to happen? Has the leak been confirmed?

Attached: 1552797200773.jpg (1480x1488, 1.67M)

>N+A=J
you mean H+L=J&M

What were the GOOD parts of the episode?

>built up to be the true climate change-tier existential threat to mankind, putting the petty squabbles for the Iron Throne into perspective, and forcing characters with conflicting motivations, some of whose entire plot arcs revolved around the north and the WWs, to band together against the common enemy
>turns out to be meaningless subplot filler resolved by an unrelated character's deus ex machina in the first confrontation

No, the only leak that’s been accurate so far pertained mostly to the last episode. The only part of it that hasn’t been confirmed is Jon murdering Dany

Wasn't it that all the human conflict meant nothing in the face of the "real" threat.

arya sneaking around in the library was unironically good

made no sense since there was a huge battle happening right outside but it was fun

I agree completely. I'd like for something to happen with Varys and the Golden Company, but there's no hope for that. The whole fAegon storyline was honestly my favorite part of Dance, and it's what I'm looking forward to most in Winds outside of Theon and Jamie.
No, I refuse to not believe N+A=J.

>N + A = J
Based and canonpilled

Everything with Meliswaifu on screen

Attached: 8910305af4af36379585cf9b63871584.jpg (300x400, 33K)

Don't worry, some Unsullied are magically alive despite the show neglecting to show any of them surviving and fighting as a coherent unit past the first twenty minutes in order to amp up le epic despair factor.

Haha imagine the smell

frikidoctor is legit

no stupid ice zombies anymore

Calling it now : now that House Mormont is extinct, Jon will give Tormund and the few remaining wildlings lordship over Bear Island.

Although the cavalry charge itself was stupid, the image of the lights going out was good. I liked the long shot at the beginning of the episode. I liked the long shot of Jon running through the castle to get to Bran and him being confronted by the dragon. Basically I thought the visuals (when you could see them) were good.

It would have been great in another episode. Here it just ruined the pacing for the sake of showing off how quiet Arya can be, like she ever learned anything like that.

WHERE DID MELISANDRE COME FROM
>WHY DID THE DOTHRAKI CHARGE HALF A MILE INTO BATTLE
HOW DID THEY GET BACK ON FOOT AT THE SAME TIME AS THEIR HORSES
>WHY DIDN'T THEY OPEN WITH THE DRAGONS
WHY DIDN'T THEY USE FIRE TO FUNNEL THE HORDE
>WHY WERE THE FORMATIONS SO SHIT
WHY WERE THEY RELYING ON DRAGONS TO SET FIRE TO THE TRENCH
>WHAT WAS DAENERYS DOING FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE BLIZZARD
WHY DID JON JUST SIT ON THE WALL FOR HALF AN HOUR
>WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THE DRAGONS TO BURN THE UNDEAD WHILE THE GATES WERE CLOSED
WHY DID BRAN WARG INTO THE CROWS AND THEN DO NOTHING
>WHAT WAS BRAN WARGING FOR 60 MINUTES
WHY DIDN'T THEON AND HIS MEN HAVE A SWORD
>DID ARYA SERIOUSLY HAVE A SPECIAL STAFF MADE WHEN SHE COULD HAVE JUST USED ONE OF THE UNSULLIED'S
WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HER ENTIRE SCENE IN THE LIBRARY
>WHY IS THE DRIPPING OF HER BLOOD LOUDER THAN HER FOOTSTEPS
WHY DID SHE REALISE HER BLOOD WAS MAKING NOISE AND NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT
>WHY IS SHE CONSIDERED STEALTHY BITCH BUT FOUND SNEAKING AROUND A LIBRARY DIFFICULT
WHY WAS ONE GIANT LEFT STANDING JUST TO KILL LYANNA
>WHY DID IT PICK HER UP AND STARE AT HER BEFORE KILLING HER
WHY DIDN'T SHE LITERALLY JUST TOUCH THE GIANT'S HAND WITH HER AXE TO KILL IT
>WHY DID NO-ONE ELSE EVEN SHOOT AN ARROW AT IT
WHY DID DAENERYS AND DROGON SIT ON THE BATTLEFIELD WHILE ALL THE ZOMBIES WERE GETTING ONTO THEM
>WHY DIDN'T DROGON BREATHE FIRE ON HER AFTER HE KNOCKED HER DOWN
HOW DID SHE MANAGE TO HOLD HER OWN DESPITE NO EXPERIENCE WIELDING A SWORD
>WHY DID THE CRYPT STARKS DO LITERALLY NOTHING AND HOW WERE SO MANY PEOPLE ABLE TO HIDE FROM THEM
WHY THE FUCK DID THEON LEEROY JENKINS THE NIGHT KING
>WHY IS THE NIGHT KING SUCH A JOBBER THAT HE DIDN'T REACT AT ALL TO ARYA'S KNIFE TRICK
WHY DOES HE HAVE A CONVENIENTLY PLACED HOLE IN HIS ARMOR
>WHY ARE THE WHITE WALKER COMMANDERS SUCH JOBBERS THAT THEY DIDN'T NOTICE ARYA UNTIL SHE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THEM
WHY DIDN'T THEY REACT WHEN THEY DID NOTICE

Attached: istockphoto-936176546-612x612.jpg (612x408, 29K)

Than I would say you're not even baiting, just maybe a tad out of the running
But when Battle of Bastards aired, everyone here was also complaining how retarded it was, but also acknowledged that Sapochnik made a nice spectacle out of it
I wanted to say that the Blackwater was a good battle, but that was a siege yeah
I guess you're right that this show never did an open field battle well

Jon walking through the battle inside the walls, except for when he yelled at Viserion

kek based jon

Jorah's death. It made me even feel bad for Daenerys, especially since her remaining advisors are all rats. Even Missandei wants to ditch her ass.

>arya sneaking around in the library was unironically good

It was garbage. They can hear the battle in the crypts but the library is quiet enough to hear a pin drop? Are you kidding me? The wights are just lurching around in ones and twos after sprinting over the fucking wall as a single writhing mass?

It was ignoring the realities of the established situation in order to have a scene the writers wanted without earning it. So, classic GoT post like S4.

someone post the aarya sex scene with ghosts of Ned and rob over the top pls

>Missandei wants to ditch her ass
How come? She talked back to Sansa when she was acting like the bitch she is.

>said Gendry/Arya wouldn’t happen
>said Tormund would die in the BoW
>said Jaime dies in Brienne’s arms
Yeah not this time

100% canon

Attached: f2ac3c64ac0c9a6bf3d55373c49cf278.png (2560x1440, 3.92M)

>she ever learned anything like that
>he missed the chasing cats episode

White Walkers used to have a frigid aura emanating from their bodies, assumed to be magical in nature, so I guess it's just a natural barrier to fire, namely dragonfire which is itself said to be magical in nature.

Attached: 2f60fc30-ccd2-0132-45c5-0ebc4eccb42f.gif (384x216, 1.75M)

I liked the skirmish with Jaime, Bronn, and the dragons

How does an entity like the night king even get this cocky...

Who is this?

AHHHHHHHHHH

Attached: 1556545250312.jpg (1920x1080, 276K)

To be fair Jaime is still alive, we don't know if the part about him dying in Brienne's arms is true

She and Grey Worm want to leave after the fighting is done.

>Why didnt he make himself useful?
To let the NK's guard down

reminded me of those quests on runescape where the NPCs can only see directly in front of them and you have to sneak past

Attached: 11111111.png (1414x715, 1.12M)

HELP ME CRASTEEER

who is that? She wasn't in the show, was she?

I was waiting for retreat formation from the unsullied. A maneuver where the front lines fall in until the back row is the last line of defense would have been cool.

>a library
>has soundproofing
Ya don't say.

Based pedo

The undead dragon becoming even undeader and going apeshit

HOW THE FUCK

Attached: $.png (1782x898, 1.64M)

Think they wanna leave after the whole war is won. They just don't like the north attitude, thinking that people that enslaved them as kids are much better. Doesn't make much sense.

>Edric Dayne is too young for N + A = E to work

Attached: 1556573449908.jpg (408x549, 95K)

They stole that scene from The Dead and the Damned.

So he was pretending to be retarded.

Fucking MM2 boat

It's her turn lads step aside.

Attached: It'sHerTurn.jpg (2500x1394, 1.19M)

Regardless, most of his leaks this season have been speculation that turned out to be wrong. The other set of leaks has proven accurate so far

Sam gave Jorah his sword, now house mormont is dead, I don't like this feel bros.

The Dothraki charge was strategically stupid, but everything from Melisander lighting their blades to the terrified survivors retreating was all great and probably the only part I feel like is up to the pedigree of how much the episode was hyped up.

Yes, don't listen to that retard.

Soundproofing against the sound of castle bustle and cow farts

Not the din of the army of the dead

>it made perfect sense in the context of the story
Showfags really are something else.

remembered and added in post-production

i'm not sure why they didn't just have Melisandre blood sacrifice Ghost to bring back Jon back then. Ghost has been utterly useless forever.

She should of gotten white walkered right then. Then it would of been kino.

Fuck dude spoiler that shit, i physically cringed at her scene.
>her face
>the way she ran
>the giant just looking at her
>her as a character in general

He coming back bois
Harrenhal is back on the table
youtube.com/watch?v=cFoCt1PxPCs
also this video actually predicted that his dagger would be used to kill the NK lmao

They played too much Resident Evil 2 before writing that scene

:(

D + A = E
...It doesn't, but I wish.

how are they going to subvert our expectations with bron?

Attached: 56345.png (448x360, 47K)

I was actually pretty hype when she did that and then it was all wasted. These fags need less yes-men on the set.

Attached: signal-2019-04-30-003619.png (1080x701, 29K)

Mycella 2.0

Attached: tV1FSiSS.jpg (750x750, 76K)

you

why do bookfags have such a hard time separating the two when it's clear the show has veered far from the books

ARYA, HOW DO I USE DAGGER?

What are the strategically good choices against a flooding army of never stopping commies given the same resources as the north?
Abusing dragon fire was the only realistic option but it would have taken hours, and once the zeds were over the soldiers they couldn't do it anymore or would have burned them too.

He'll get a chance of heart and take tyrion up on his offer.

Disgusting really.

he's going to kill tyrion

>we had to give her her big moment if we were going to kill her
>every moment she's on screen is a 'big moment'

Getting off the fucking horses would be a good start

BECAUSE IT SUCKS AND I HATE IT FUCK YOU

Only4 named characters died, the plot armor is getting too strong.

Poor Ned he couldve had this but all he got was a fish

It was the best comedy moment of 2019 yet.

Someone photoshop Arya's head onto Dio's please

Attached: it was me, dio.jpg (1280x720, 105K)

Sansa aged like milk

still..would though

Because of the drop in quality.

and stay there

Wrong. They obviously changed direction when they turned down the sex stuff.

Now we got strong womyn, jerking each other off in scenes that serve no other purpose than anti-bechdel writing.

Let him be a manlet who look to young for his age damit.

>N + A = J
>R + L = E

We don't have a hard time separating the two. We just recognize that the deviations from the book have almost universally been terrible. If the show's original material happened to be good, then you wouldn't hear us complaining.

Attached: Mel.jpg (5612x2088, 627K)

>tfw Sansa and Tyrion will fuck
FINALLY

Attached: 1556593477341.jpg (645x729, 124K)

fake news

wat was the point of the crypt scenes, tyrion was just sneaking around and sansa was hiding, they were never even a hint of danger in there.

Well yeah it's The Onion retard

>implying it wouldn't have been better for Davos to unceremoniously behead her as she tries to walk off to her dignified death

Show would have redeemed itself if he'd caught her by the neck and snapped it. A throwback to how the show would have treated such a retarded move five seasons ago.

Pls someone post therape.gif of Bran pls....

The jewiness tends to start at near zero for a time before increasing exponentially.
