This also explains why Superman has not been popular for a very long time and only had a brief comeback in the 80's when people were having massive anxiety about the cold war turning hot. If you think about it, since the fall of the Berlin wall, Superman has not had any popularity. I would say the closest to Mary Sue is superman, (haven't seen Captain Marvel yet), he is perfect, he loves his (step) mother and (step) father, he is very strong, even the strongest ever but good.

Arya wants to get even no matter the cost, her enemies will die brutally often without expecting it.
