Superman being retarded op isn't why people like him.
kys
We're close to a CENTURY of Superman being considered a boring OP character by the general public. Has everyone just forgotten?
If you type "Superman is" into any search field, odds are it will autocomplete to "a boring superhero".
have sex
The first two break the preestablished rules of their respective worlds. Superman was op from the beginning.
kys.
>Arya
>training for her whole life
>become more skilled than anyone in the world after being blind and scrubbing corpses for a year

>Superman was op from the beginning.
>could leap tall buildings

>Training her whole life
So like 8 years if training between being given needle and now?
Out of those four only Rey is an actual Mary Sue 2bh
Superman is an alien, retard
Superman is essentially a Mary Sue but that's not a bad thing. Superman has some of the best lore ever and that's what makes people come back to him.
Rey and Captain Marvel are boring characters which is why they suck. There's nothing wrong with Arya Stark other than being stuck in a shitty TV Adaptation.
the only one of those characters who is a mary sue is rey
Superman's powers were always boundless. He has an weakness but if he spent enough time bathed in the sun's radiation he would be god like.
Superman would be the quintessential Gary Stu, except he has the personality flaws to make up for it and there are still beings out there that kick his ass.
Mary Sue isn't about power, it's about never failing and being liked by everyone. They're boring as fuck. Rey is easily the biggest Mary Sue in that pic, followed by CM.
YEAH
With every female of the species you see
The end is near
YEAH
So don't you worry about the HIV
Get drunk
YEAH
Till you puke all over the floor
We're gonna die
YEAH
Tomorrow
So let's get hammered like never before
Firstly modern Superman is awful so bad choice there.
lets go through this:
>Arya is not a mary sue tbf, just a fan service character that was magically teleported next to the villain to kill him
>Rey, 'can fly spaceship well' WHY?! She has live in a desert shithole her life yet suffers no drawbacks from this lack of experience and beats the fucking last jedi master in sword combat with no training.
>Captain marvel literally has no weakness, she can do anything. Sure she overcame, being lied to, but she can destroy fucking armadas who can challenge her?
Superman’s powers were tuned up and down depending on which alteration you pick, with Silver Age Supes being then most ridiculous.
Hasn’t been OP for a long time though.
>dance with a stick for two days
>sell clams to cuckholds
>training her whole life
i've never seen arya or captain marvel been called mary sues
Gary Stu Alien
>She has live in a desert shithole her life yet suffers no drawbacks from this lack of experience and beats the fucking last jedi master in sword combat with no training.
Great point, they don't even touch on that Rey is a fucking hermit and should have really lousy socialization skills.

shes coldsteel tier
Literally who says Superbland isn't a mary sue?
Funnily enough, the Snyder supes was the least sue-ish incarnation of Supes in recent times, and he is nowhere near the Sue levels of larson, ridley and williams.
posters in this thread, for starters
her whole life is really just a couple of years
Wrong
Superman is a normie where he was born not op
I haven't been in comics for a few years but I remember pre-Flashpoint could rub some super hot friction to seal a black hole and kill Darkseid while singing with molecular vibrations (in that same storyline he learned how to make a miracle machine basically Shenron from DBZ but more bullshit), and I remember seeing scans of post flashpoint punching through reality and holding earth weight for several days without any effort.
That and I heard that post Flashpoint Superman died and the pre-flashpoint still lives in post flashpoint somehow escaped a timeline reset and is stronger than he was so yeah.
Have sex
Yes Yea Forums is pathetic and full of DCucks what's your point?
>gifted
>lied and suppressed
So they’re mary sues
People have been saying Superman is boring for being so OP for years
Go look at the 2 Goku vs Superman videos, like 100 thousands dislikes from people hating on Superman
>Arya
Victim of bad writing just like every GoT character
>Carol
Victim of having no character
>Rey
Actual Mary Sue
>Game of Women
>Onions Wars
>Capeshit
>Capeshit
I don’t like any of the characters listed, what’s your point?
>boohoo i have unlimited money and resources
Struggle exists in Superman
Arya did struggle and was a good character, but she becomes arrogant and lacks the humbleness of superman
Rey is a shit character and I'm not wasting my time knowing captain marvel
Literally everyone except braindead capeshit apologists agree Superman is a Mary Sue. Nobody likes Superman. Batman, Wonder Woman and even Aquaman are more popular than him now.
>by the general public
>one of the most popular superheroes of all time
dictionary.com
YOU CANT MUDDY THE WATERS OF THE FUCKING DICTIONARY YOU HALF WITS.
> Literally everyone except braindead capeshit apologists agree Superman is a Mary Sue.
This also explains why Superman has not been popular for a very long time and only had a brief comeback in the 80's when people were having massive anxiety about the cold war turning hot. If you think about it, since the fall of the Berlin wall, Superman has not had any popularity. Man of Steel, despite being a pretty good movie probably didn't do as well as it should because he was a Mary Sue. Zack Snyder knew this which is why I suspect he tried to give him so many internal issues dealing with the repercussions of his powers.
Who uses Mary Sue?
Mary Sue is most frequently used as a noun (a Mary Sue) or modifier (a Mary Sue story), although it may also sometimes appear as a verb, to Mary-Sue, meaning “to insert oneself into a fictional story/character.”
Male Mary Sues are sometimes called Marty Stu or Gary Stu, often associated with James Bond and Superman.
There is nothing. you can say or do to change what a Mary Sue is and your attempts to control language and thought are laughable yet disgustingly evil, go fuck yourself you evil little cunt.
(OP)
Arya -> A few weeks training at a magical assassins temple and a few months training with a swordsman and is able to kick everyones ass in the whole show, including the people at the magical temple.
Rey -> Knows the Millennium Falcon better than Han Solo, can beat fully trained Sith lords with no fighting training, can move mountains with virtually no training, etc, etc...
Captain Marvel -> Engine blows up in her face and she is transformed into the most powerful character in the entire MCU, so powerful that she can destroy anything in her path and even Thanos can not harm her without the power stone.
Superman -> One of the original templates for the superhero character made like a hundred years ago. Yes, he is a bit of a male Mary Sue also. Good point.
Sex have
>superman is boring because he's op
>goku is fine
...what?
Arya was trained by a multitude of great sword fighters and assassin, I don't see the issue.
>her whole life
but she trained for a few months
her training involved cleaning corpses, shoveling shit and getting beaten up by the other girl
Yikes. Have sex
Watch Batman v Superman and then call Superman a Gary Stu again. Snyder already adressed this.
The same thing happened to Spider-Man
Goku has done nothing but lose in Super honestly, only win he got was against Jiren thanks to Frieza
>literally all the people that don't like him are portrayed as being misguided, ugly or straight out evil
The point is that he's just as human as them, not more.
You forgot the clams and kekels.
also he has weaknesses. those women don't or not real ones
This. I don’t care what anyone says about Snyder but he did a pretty good job of treating Superman with human qualities.
remember back when arya got stabbed in the gut 5 times and thrown in the seweres and she didn't die from that
>training her whole life
>10 years of training
>gets stabbed by a floor sweeping housemaid
>never fought a WW
>kills a godlike dead magician who's been literally fighting men for 8000 years
>not mary sue
>trained her whole life
?????
This is some low tier bait, tranny
I would say the closest to Mary Sue is superman, (haven't seen Captain Marvel yet), he is perfect, he loves his (step) mother and (step) father, he is very strong, even the strongest ever but good.
Arya and Rey are not perfect., both are driven by the lowest of emotions, revenge and abandonement.
Arya wants to get even no matter the cost, her enemies will die brutally often without expecting it.
Rey wants a family to belong to, she wants everything and everyone to be nice, she sees hope where there is none.
I try to see the characters they portrait not sexes they represent. Also i always had a weak spot for antiheroes, heroes who lacks all hero qualities (morale, ethics, driving force) but end up heroes in the end after all :D
I'm not an incel like you
autist
have sex
>my capeshit is better than your capeshit
Kill yourself, all of you.
Retarded.
>Arya
Walkers can hear her blood dripping, while she's under table. Night King hears Jon Snow sneaking up on him over ten meters behind him. Bran is surrounded with dozens of walkers and Arya got there how? Teleport? Did Bran's ravens fly her there? That's the only reasonable explanation and its pretty shit.
>Rey
Only scavenges dead machines her whole life in sand. No training. Suddenly can:
>fly a ship
>bypass compressors
>swing lightsabre
>use force
She's the most Mary Sue.
>Captain Toe-Fungus
Trains as a pilot, trains some sort of space kung fu with Jude Law. Suddenly, her power is to be a what? Some sort of retarded magic like Scarlet Witch basically. This is pure magic, deus ex machina, nonsense.
>Supes
He's trained his whole life not to be controlled by his super powers. His step father even sacrifices himself, to protect his identity, because he hasn't matured enough yet. Supes destroys half the city, because he ISN'T trained enough. Also Man of Steel shouldn't be seen as a capeshit movie, but rather an alien invasion movie.
He's the only one, who actually grows, while the other characters just magically gain shit with not so much effort, except maybe Arya, although as I wrote, everything else pointed against her ninja skills.
I mean this is all obvious. If you disagree, you must be very stupid.
have therapy, tranny.
> His step father even sacrifices himself, to protect his identity, because he hasn't matured enough yet.
don't, my impervious child
