He has a successful web series that he hates and refuses to work on. So instead, he hires a bunch of guys to write and edit his show FOR him. Then he just comes in on one day, reads his lines and walks out.

For the most channel views, Mike and Ryan would be discussing the latest meme video game of the week on cinemassacre channel, and they stopped doing this a year ago. I mean, mike and ryan didnt even make a video about Sekiro- and thats the most low hanging fruit.
Rental Reviews is still mostly about discussing old movies. Theyre not discussing the movie of the week, like they didnt discuss Us and what not. It seemed like they used to want to discuss modern movies- the first of fat fuck vids were rampage- but this has obviously not continued.
So, it seems Ryan wants cinemassacre to still have its dignity remain.

i dont expect it to evolve much, unless its once in a blue moon. The combined views of rental reviews, james and mike, and the occasional avgn provides a steady course of income already. Like ive said, when it comes to hitting trends, they devolved from talking about modern stuff to being retro and 80s shit.
The audio only podcast wont happen. James is too much of a filmmaker and prefers standing in front of a camera. (though, i he did do a podcast series once).
I think the real gold mind Ryan is sitting on is Talk About Games. there should really be a talk about games every week- where mike talks about the latest video game.
The latest talk about games on cinemassacre got 200 k views.
But now, Ryan is putting talk about games on Cinemassacre Plays channel, i guess because he wants the focus on the other series.
According to social blade, they can making up to 900 k a year. But i feel like it could 1.1 million a year with a few changes.
