He wasn’t as much of a badass as he thought he was

Should have used a better armor.

dude
she is no one
lmao

She was screaming at his back for some reason.

He can see through the eyes of the wights and other white walkers, I think.

he saw it. he just didn't react fast enough

How did he have a stupid gap in his armor when the last time she tried that trick, the Hound laughed and backhanded her?

>Meryn Fuckin Trant!

youtube.com/watch?v=8JNZBgu19Ys

Because she's a proud independent woman.

In literally every style of fighting, you're taught to scream while attacking because it disorients the fighting.
It is exactly what I'd expect some dumb cunt who did't finish her training, and thus didn't learn the exceptions to this norm, to do.

>two people have two different armour pieces.

FUCKING HACKS

whats the opposite of plot armor? plot fatal weakness?

Why didn't they try to throw a fishing net or a lasso at NK and take him prisoner and take turn kick him in the balls till the end of time?

Valyrian steel is a ridiculously sharp fantasy metal.

where did she come from. was she disguised as one of them?

if so, why didn't she do that during the solid snake scene

if not, how did the 100+ zombies circling the area, a good 10+ metres away not notice here rush passed them and have enough time to react when it was shown during the stealth level that they have very sensitive senses. you would think even more so with the commanders zombies

Attached: 1556543274082.jpg (1661x929, 1.23M)

It's even worse; he did see her trick and still did nothing. He could have dropped her; he could have let go of her other hand and blocked the attack. He has unbelievable reflexes and just watches as she kills him.

so was this guy's fucking problem anyways?

he doesn't even say shit during the whole time he is shown on screen . who freed him or whatever and why did it take so long for them to go out and try to btfo everyone.

why did he even bother going into battle personally when once he reanimated everyone again he pretty much could have won

She unironically just sprinted at him from behind. Shit writing, no other answer for it.

>she runs by walker fast enough to make his hair move
>walker sees her
>alerts night king
Pretty sure the idea here is that they are all one consciousness my man

He’s the Night King not the Knight King

post the far cry 3 webm

She was probably screaming for no reason. However, if I was trying to make sense of the scene, I would think that she screamed on purpose. Because it informs the Night King of her intent. Which allows her to do the knife drop trick. Typical deceptive tactic. Make your opponent think you're doing one thing, and then surprise them with another. A simple lesson she learned from Syrio long ago.

youtu.be/yvAUJ4i9GoY?t=475

So she can barely outrun some wights in the castle, but when turns into a Naruto character right after who can teleport past his White Walker commanders and hundreds of Wights??

What fucking armor? He was wearing a leather vest.

The only acceptable answer is either the dragon fire injured him somewhat unbeknownst to us and/or Bran did some bullshit to help her do it.

She was outrunning wights earlier though. She got trapped when she approached the door.

Assuming they all have shared eyesight like Pain. They still werent in view of the knife thing. The real question is what the fuck is the point of Bran? He cant do anything usefull like the CoTF greenseers. No water hammers. No trees walking around and fighting. Literally all he does is skinchange into ravens and do nothing.

the funniest thing to me is that the NK is actually weaker than a Wraith in 1on1 combat. I mean you just have to hit him with a certain weapon and he insta dies. What the hell ?

Barely, and she didn't have a fucking naruto dash like at the end of the episode. This was fucking retarded, you can't argue against it.

Attached: 70E4179A-0C92-4549-8617-50989F85B155.gif (700x1000, 273K)

She was so short no one bothered to look down. That's why you see the white walkers hair tousle in the wind before but he just looks behind him not down.

Doesn't matter if it was "barely". Fact is, she was ahead of them, until the door blocked her way.
What does "Naruto dash" even mean? She ran? Because sure, she ran. I guess running = Naruto somehow.

He could even see Bran when he was warging out as a raven flying thousands of feet above him. The dude could chuck a spear at a dragon from hundreds of miles away. Yet some petty magic trick flip of the knife and he dies? By Arya? Who has nothing to do with the night king plot. Pretty anti-climactic. The episode was pretty good though visually but the plot and battle strategy was just totally retarded.

I thought Bran was going to warg into the Night King, kill Bran's body, and either sacrifice himself as the NK or just have zombos live amongst everybody.
That or maybe Bran would sacrifice himself to become a face for Arya.
You know, something that makes even a minute amount of sense.

Why didn't she use 2 knives?

Same way Rey in TLJ was able to do it; plot armor

I was thinking the same thing, Bran taking over him as there must always be a Lich King

She sprinted at him so quickly that she was like a gust of wind to everybody but the Night King. If you paid attention to this, you would have understood the scene. Unless you're just a retard.

Five or six years ago, she would have dropped the knife and he would have crushed her throat. This show turned into capeshit.

Psssh, nothin personnel nightking ;)

>She sprinted at him so quickly that she was like a gust of wind
So she's magic? Cool, bro!

>Beric Dondarrion lived, died, and lived again for this

Reminder that they literally wasted 90% of the plot of the entire series just to have some dumb girl kill it because they ran out of budget.

All the stuff with time travel, propechy, rituals, artefacts, etc. all completely dumb.

Arya might as well have hidden behind some random rock and then killed the NK. The entire episode was one giant waste of time and with it the entire last 4 seasons.

It's Stannis, you know it.

>How did he see Arya attacking from behind
because super stealthy warrior assassin started screaming her lungs out when she was still 30 feet away from him

Retard.

The scene was focused on the white walkers face. Maisie Williams is 5'1''. I'm guessing the white walker is at least 5'10''. You're not going to see Maisie's head passing the White Walker's head. The gust of wind implied that she passed him, just outside of the frame.

>get the kill on him without him knowing
>or alert him to your presence by screaming so that you can almost screw everything up and save yourself on the fly

Speaking of which, so much for the Prince that was Promised.
Azor Ahai, 2019, you are forgotten.
Where the fuck is Edmure? Why didn't everybody just retreat to the Twins as soon as the Wall fell?

she can literally teleport

Attached: wtf_dabid.png (798x848, 64K)

>where did she come from. was she disguised as one of them?

The same way half the characters seem to teleport around, asinely childish writers. This was like an episode of power rangers.

Nothing personnel kid

>scruffy outlaw knight has better armour than the main villain hyped up for 10 years
BRAVO

He's the NIGHT King, not the Knight King. Suits of armor are pretty expensive.

Perhaps she considered the possibility that she would get caught, regardless is she was quiet. So instead of taking the gamble of getting caught in silence, she decided to ensure she gets caught loudly.

yeah, also Clegane's armor always looked just like very thick iron rivet studded leather to me, it isnt even steel.

they saw how ugly she was and assumed she was a wight

did this nigga ever even fight with or use his sword?

It just always bugged me how cheap it looked and how cheap he was having strings hold it on his back lol

Supposedly, if its like the books, he is in the Westerlands with his wife.

He was still thinking about how he beat bran at the staring contest a few moments before.

>maybe Bran would sacrifice himself to become a face for Arya
I can't believe they didn't do this. How was that not the plan? Bran did literally nothing, just fucking sat there. If he'd stabbed the Night King and pulled off his face to reveal Arya, as I was expecting, I would have accepted that.

The show really went full anime. Christ.

This boggles my mind. A single stab and he is gone? Wtf

>Show has literal Dragons, Zombies, a Frankenstein monster, Giant Wolves, Giants, Tree Elves etc.
>B-b-but HER SNEAKING UP IS LIKE MAGICCC

I thought she just dropped from the tree.
Rewatching this I realise she really comes flying out of nowhere.

I swear to god that years ago I played some video game where you pulled out exactly the same knife trick during cutscene boss fight

Uncharted 3 final boss lmao

:^)

you gotta be fucking kidding me

The Night King literally falls for the

manoeuvre

Attached: 12515.jpg (535x577, 40K)

yesterday someone posted a webm of it in far cry 3, at least i think thats what it was

They'd already established that with the other white walkers that had been killed. One hit from their weakness and they shatter.

I was watching Dab's commentary after the episode and he talks about how "You know, we established that the Night King has to be stabbed in the same spot the Child of the Forest stabbed to create him"
What the fuck even, when was this established, and how retarded is the NK truly?

Attached: 1556527381685.webm (1280x720, 2.62M)

Muh fantasy magical steel vs some shit tier toothpick

clearly night king felt rightly so invincible. paused his soldiers just for the moment to kill bran. theon rushing the night king is what demonstrates all night king's wights/walkers are in standby while he's about to kill bran. clearly night king can handle himself and the war was won for him. if you've noticed he's paused his soldier many times before like this, like a demonstration of power. arya takes advantage like theon but is able to do knife trick she worked on (name another character who could pull that off?)

sure there were other possibilities for endings. but capitulating NK's ego is a good enough one. At least we got pay off for arya. jon would have 1v1'd the night king and people would have complained even more most likely if there was a single moment of unrealistic battle (which arya's one simple moment of taking night king off guard was). Jon wouldn't have been so smooth and just probably a little sharper than theon's attempt.

Actually now that I think about it, seeing theon fail at killing night king actually helped set up that it wasn't so easy to run up and kill night king.

Are you being retarded on purpose? There would be no need for a trick if she didn't alert him of her presence in the first place.

Try to stick a knife through leather, it isnt as easy as you think.

>NK is seconds earlier shown to be completely 100% immune to dragonfire, shrugs it off like it was nothing
>dies just as easily to valyrian steel as his lackeys
BRAVO

no, because the three eyed raven is the yolocaust memory
and forgetting the yolocaust would be the absolute death, goy

literally just throw her away

Attached: 1556510441355.png (1200x1781, 1.26M)

>yes, when trying to assassinate some zombie king scream at him as you attack

isn't she supposed to be an elite assassin?

Doesn’t matter, a little girl can’t thrust it through solid steel

>she's an elite assassin so it makes sense that she can just teleport to any location and backstab the villain
fuck off.

I still can't get over Arya being a super Assassin just by cleaning a few corpses. How does that work?

got the original version?

Attached: 1556515161855.jpg (1200x1781, 298K)

Imagine being Theon and getting sent to your death by this prophet kid in a wheelchair when he could have just told you to hang back and wait for Arya to appear and save the day. Brann must have really hated Theon.

All will be revealed next episode.

how did she get the knife in the first place? what did bran have to do with it?

Good storytelling

Yea i really dont understand people saying she earned her power. It was jarring as fuck when she came back with this badass attitude out of nowhere.

Where in this series of events did she gain this power
>incompletely taught sword fighting by a braavosi master
>practicing stances your own
>impersonating a few people
>getting your ass beat and/or off screen learning how to fight with a staff
And the goal as far as i understood it was to break arya and the waif didnt. So where did the ninja training come in? Where and how did she become exceptional.

The frey thing was already pushing it but it was possible with some belief suspension

Isn't that the knife the assassin tried to kill unconscious Bran with in the second episode?

She sstole it from Little Finger

Bran was given the knife rhat tried to kill him, he gave it to arya

That was literally the only foreshadowing we got other than the eyes bullshit

Attached: 1551305745085.jpg (586x580, 75K)

I thought Bran was supposed to have some brilliant plan to defeat the night king. But no. Instead, a little girl just jumps on him from behind and stabs him in the gut.

This needs to have he NK in it

Baelish gives it to shitty assassin
Assassination fails and Catelyn gets it
Catelyn gives it to Ned
Baelish gets it back when ded ned
Baelish gives it to Bran
Bran gives it to Arya
Arya "gives it" to NK

Bro even if it's a fantasy setting, that doesn't mean there aren't rules. There was never any indication that she could run like the wind, turn invisible or teleport, before in the story. Can't just say she learned a magic spell from sneaking around some brainless skellymen a little earlier.

Oh, from that masked assassin who's identity was never revealed?

give me a magical dagger, im pretty sure leather isnt that big of a deal to magic knife

She was disguised as a log brainlet.

That's what I said to myself when Arya was repeatedly stabbed in the belly, and miraculously healed after a night of good sleep.

best comment whole day

youtube.com/watch?v=4nWeC2tmrHw

so from this maybe Bran warged back into his direwolf to kill the assassin and get the knife?

i mean he wanted himself exposed in the spot which night king was also vunerable. gave arya the knife in the exact spot. his plan worked. the battle wasn't going to be won without killing the night king.

so you have a few choices:
1. bran does some magic and kills night king by some way explained after.
2. jon rushes 1v1 night king (would have been panned by critics)
3. arya takes advantage of one moment error of nk's arrogance, which has been shown a few times before. (makes sense because bran set this up, was the plan)

basically can't please everyone, but they went with the outcome that made most sense.

Still pisses me off

Remember the arguing about arya being a mary sue back then and how unrealistic her character was

Imagine if we all knew

Hmm that kind of makes sense, but how will they reveal it? They should have shown it in the same episode.

you people are looking far too deeply into dabid writing, they have no idea what they are doing

I'm glad Bran knew Arya could teleport behind people.

>how did the 100+ zombies circling the area, a good 10+ metres away not notice here rush passed them and have enough time to react when it was shown
Because the NK had them docile. Theon was not ripped to shreads because the NK called them off. Some of you are retarded.

I agree that they have no idea what they're doing, but to show Bran warging off for no reason at all is just stupid by all accounts. No way they'd have done that unless it was important to the fight.

Yep, I'm going to consider this as canon from now on, NK couldn't die from dragon fire but killed by Valyrian steel, so I'll pretend the dagger isn't Valyrian steel but something more ancient from Asshai, and will also pretend Bran was in the past setting up all those events to happen.
Because if I don't pretend then fuck this shit I won't watch the next 3 episodes, also that fat slob of grrm doesn't seem like he wants to finish the books.

This. Other than telling Jon he is the true heir, he has not done anything useful.

I have no reason to care about this anymore there are no stakes. The entire apeal of the overarching narrative was that people were wasting lives fighting with themselves while a greater evil approached.
Now the only thing left is "lel, who gonna be kang". I don't care, the world is safe. Cercei may be bad girl, but she's not going to eradicate the human race, so who cares anymore.

The generals she ran past are not wights. You are retarded.

I'm hoping it's explained, maybe he warged into the elephants and it prevented cercei from coming early

>shown a few times before
No, it hasnt been, hes always been behind a wall of corpses

I dont necessarily mind him dying in that sense, it was just done in the most poorly fitting way possible and executed in the worst way possible

>....and then arya appears out of nowhere *above* to stab him

At least have him kill her or something. Or have someone sacrifice themselves to distract him.

Have a throwaway scene 2 seasons ago about arya disguising herself like peeta from hunger games. Fucking anything

Lol this made my day

Because... GIRLS KICK ASS DUH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other options existed.
I.E. Bran was in cohoots with the NK and was used to gather everyone at Winterfell so they could be defeated. A small group of survivors eventually escape while the rest die.

or maybe Jon goes after NK but Arya finishes him off, so his character arc with the NK isn't completely neutered.

This and Jorah's fight with the Dothraki at the end of Season 1 are the only times in the entire series that armour has actually done something.

Worst ending I have ever fucking seen

Give it a rest, /pol/nigger.

Where the fuck is the next book. I need to wipe this mess from my mind.

Littlefinger sent a faceless man to frame the Lannisters in attempting to finish off coma Bran, I assume

she teleported, duh

the hound grabbed her and threw her like a flying frisbee in the air until she eventually landed on NK's back.

jesus, stop being such nitpicking nerds.

literally any combat trained character could drop a knife from one hand to the other. Arya isnt even technically trained with anything other than a staff, she is just magically good at all weapons now. Bravo!

Because shes a WOOOOOMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYN

It only "makes sense" because D&D wrote the circumstances as such so that only Arya would take the win. They knew what they were doing by driving all of the characters to near death, losing the battle, only to have el goblino asasino do her fancy dancing shyte.

Attached: 1555353608798.jpg (261x244, 11K)

Oh wow, now tell us about the jet fuel not burning hot enough.

The next episode will be "catch up with aftermath" and we will learn more. Bran had his visions and clearly made sure he was exposed and probably saw the spot was best place for arya's infiltration.

Bran might have seen the pause moment NK does before killing him, which was enough to give arya time to rush. Which you see her make her way after melisandre tells her "not today".

NK stalled after victory before and paused his dead clearly at hardhome. it was some sort of message that he was killing the three eyed raven and therefore validated the moment of victory, theon and arya were only given the opportunity during this time.

>Arya "gives it" to NK
hot

This tbqh
Finishing the zombie plot first was a fucking mistake

Photoshop in the dagger instead of the sword

It's never coming out and Martin is going to eat himself to death in order to free himself from those obligations. Even though he promised he wouldn't pull a Robert Jordan.

If it's revealed Bran did some time travel shit and caused Ayra to kill the NK, with some unseen footage from the earlier seasons would Yea Forums be okay with how last night went down?

this made me little better

Attached: nautin tästä napoleon.jpg (500x500, 36K)

if bran was in cahoots with night king he literally would have told the night king to stay back until everyone was slaughtered. they talked about how the night king dying was the only way to win this battle because they were out numbered. so if bran was a traitor then it was over.

Obviously, Cersei is the approaching greater evil and northerners and white walkers are busy fighting among themselves.

No, it would still be a stupid way to die

>during this time
>its not equivalent because he still never got up close and personal with jon, just taunted him from afar
I dont find him stalling in front of bran ridiculous, just your asspull of a "callback"

I get that pov. but we knew we were getting two epic closures: white walker battle and battle of the throne.

They set record with the white walker battle and if that was what kept you involved with game of thrones it was a hell of a war.

Doing it white walker war before cersei fight sets up a more fair fight at the end. 2 dragons and a weak army against cersei's bolstered troops.

just admit they made the more dramatic ending, having a full dothraki/unsullied army against cersei would have been unfair, too easy.

>"crypts are the safest for women and children"

Attached: 1556513123677.png (939x513, 624K)

It's weird, but I think she might've arrived there before the night king and hid somewhere

It's the only way I could explain it

Why didnt she just shoot a dragonglass arrow?

How was the night king ever a threat when all it takes is to touch him slightly with valyrian steel and he explodes?

He was a threat because his wights did all the fighting and his white walkers did all the reviving
No idea why he would expose himself just to kill Bran it's never explained at all

To be fair, when she was training, the many faced man did tell her to do this exact thing by saying one thing while doing another and that Arya should watch his intent not his deceptive words. However, (and I wish I had the webm right now) the Night King not only watched her drop the dagger, but looked down to see her grab it and plunge it into him. He watched it all happen when just seconds early he broke Theon's spear and stabbed him with it instantly.

She's a master assassin user, don't you get it?

>Can tank fucking dragon fire and one shot dragons
>Can summon a fucking blizzard and undead army
>Is a thousand year old swordsman
>get teleported behind you

If he doesn't rise up in episode 5 I'll fucking murder the writers.

There was a breeze just before the Arya's attack. It was Melisandre's magic that allowed her to get so close undetected.

Bran explained it. I know it is hard for your brain to fathom but it was just some need to kill me to wipe out human memory. That is it. I know your basement dwelling requires more timey wimey fucketry but sorry. Not today.

Good one lad

it would have been a great subversion of expectation for him not to give a fuck about Valyrian Steel, like "Bitch who do you thing you are dealing with here?!"

why?

The White Walkers/Night King's motivations make absolutely no sense. The Night King wants to kill Bran, but he wouldn't even know Bran existed if Bran never went beyond the wall in the first place. To get to Bran later on, the NK has to destroy the wall, which he would be unable to do if they hadn't gone wight hunting and Dany hadn't lost her dragon to his Olympic spear chucking skills. In other words, the White Walkers were literally zero threat and just would have been stuck behind the wall if everyone had completely ignored that they even existed. Winter is coming my ass. What a complete shitshow. GRRM needs to hurry and finish the books before he dies, this fanfiction is goddamn embarrassing.

j....just turn off your brain bro!

The problem is that all of it fell too sudden and too easy. You could have still had Arya stab him and win the war but maybe with some little help. Have a few other characters run in as well in a last desperate struggle, maybe a few of them die while trying to create a distraction and THEN she gets the kill. If the whole point of this fight was that armies were joining up together then it should have ended thanks to a joint effort.

Yes it fucking is. A razor sharp point will cut leather with ease. It's why they use knifes, not fucking chainsaws or angle grinders, in slaughter houses and leather tanning factories.

Was there a random scene cut to get her into the library area?
I swear it went from big outside fight with lots of commotion to stealth with no explanation

The show is over in 3 episodes.

Even if he came back they don’t have the budget to do another battle with him AND Cersei.

Great, so why not just roast the cripple with your fucking dragon? Why slowly walk up to him like some fucking putz when he could have a crossbow, dagger, dragonglass punji pits, or some assassin lying in wait? This show has just become a bunch of people with sub-80 IQs trying to find out who can stop being retarded long enough to kill someone else.

Night king has location of bran no way he'd fall for the Arya face trick

She only trained for a few months then ran away.

>Was still holding out hope she'd been killed and replaced by a faceless man until this episode where it's clearly just Arya
Fuck this.

No, she showed up after. Pay attention to the scene again.

Not bad, not bad.

Is it safe to assuma that the night king has a double digit IQ?

Attached: 1555163389712.gif (487x481, 628K)

just make it dark so you can't tell how small the fight really is

they could have at the very least had the zombies arrange themselves in the swirly symbol, god these hacks make my head hurt

So, what the fuck did the NK even want in the end?

Attached: whatbird.gif (250x251, 760K)

Idk man when Jon beat his first white walker, with that last desperate breath and effort makes the kill, a battle like that with the night king would have been a great ending for him.

Also why no white walkers actually fight? Should have let them fight

Well until now most people were operating under the assumption that the Night King was a clairvoyant greenseer like Bran and all of those unlikely events happened because he somehow set them up in advance with time magic or some shit. Now however he clearly isn't because he got killed by a fucking stupid little sword trick so yes, all of those things you listed are now retroactively stupid fucking bullshit.

Literally every character on the show does now, except maybe Qyburn and Bronn.

Bran's boipusy

>Night King jobbed already
What a fucking letdown

HOLY SHIT THIS WAS SO BAD

he's like an agent from the matrix and arya neo'd his ass. keep seething incels.

I think im more dissapointed that Cercie is the final villan and not the NK. Can we just swap the eppisodes arround? have this one be epp 5-6

awful nice of him to lower her a bit so she can catch the knife and then lift her up again

To be honest no one can predict what a woman will do.

imagine moving in together with someone you love, sitting down to watch some tv and they start reacting to everything like these videos

literally like watching jim carey in dumb and dumber

>How did he see Arya attacking from behind but couldn't see that stupid knife trick?

The DM is trying to get in the player's pants and just straight up GAVE them the roll.

There is only one way to redeem this pile of shit.
>Big battle between Cersei and the North
>Cersei wins thanks to her Bravos troops
>The main characters are brough to Iron Keep.as Cersei is sitting on the iron throne
>She stands up and walks to the prisoners to have her winning monologue
>She then orders the troops to kill them, kill them all
>But the troops arent doing anything, no matter what order she screams
>"When the queen proclaims herself a king and the king's Hand proclaims another, whose peace do the Golden Company protect? Who do they follow? The man who pays them"
>Lord Baelish steps out of the crowd and sits on the iron throne as the Bravos Golden Company salutes him
>Close up to his hand, he is playing with the coin of Bravos

nah its a jack of plates (Small metal plates bolted between two layers of thick leather). It's more flexible than plate, but less vulnerable to thrusts like Maille, and you don't need as much thick padding underneath. It's damn good armour, actually.

shes fast

>some shit tier magical toothpick
Ftfy

would be Kino

Attached: based shrek.jpg (3000x1996, 771K)

Yep, this was established.

No one deserves the throne more than CIA.

>Implying it won't be Bronn.

In the books it's actually a far better end, thats more satisfying and makes sense. Joffrey sent the assassin, after hearing Robert say it was cruel to leave a child alive like that. Joffrey, desparate for his father's approval, steals a dagger from the weapons that came to Winterfell with the royal party, and grabs the fanciest dagger he can see. Gives some more character beyond "Little Psycho" to Joffrey, and explains why it was such a stupid plan and weapon to do said plan.

I'm dead.

Is CIA still around? Was it ever explained why he suddenly started talking like a fucking pirate?

This is now canon.

Melisandra told her to put on a wight face, did nobody watch season 5 either? It's well established she has the skill to sneak up on anyone, as she is no one.

Of course he is still around. He faked his death by giving a faceless man a coin of Bravos.

Attached: CIA.png (591x591, 161K)

How can he command an entire army of the undead but he can't put on a little bit of armor?

The Virgin Cheer vs. The Chad Gape

Attached: got-arya-reaction.jpg (225x265, 12K)

I get that it's MAGIC

But it's so fucking shit that 1 little stab killed him, when he's supposed to be the scariest badass in the entire 8 seasons. Even the little girl survived from being beat in the head by the giants and then crushed with his hand.

>elite
She didn't even finished her training.

Alright, but listen. What if the NK said "I cant be killed by no one" though?

>Big battle
I admit, I was ready to tell you to fuck off until
>Lord Baelish steps out of the crowd
Well done. If the series ends with Lord Baelish executing Danarys and Jon Snow I will be pleased.

I thought for sure Bran and Tyrion's ace in the hole was a dragonglass shrapnel wheelchair bomb ala Breaking Bad.

Yea imagine how lame it would be if the way to kill the big bad is cutting off his ring finger and then tossing said ring into lava? Would be shit writing desu.

tinktinktinktinktink

Consider this
>Arya was stabbed multiple times in a similar place to the night king and survived and healed over night.

right in the white walkers

Attached: -Game Of Thrones- Season 8- Episode 3 Review- The Battle Of Winterfell Defies Every Expectation Of G (746x252, 79K)

I seriously can't remember anything from season 3-6. Tbh all I remember from 7 is Jamie charging at the dragon.

Well, that would only be stupid if he didn't have two Nazgul permanently stationed at the entrance to Mt. Doom.

It certainly defied my expectations.

This.

They're not ever trying to make sense, they don't need to.

Not in the movie.

reminder dnd only knew arya would kill him for about 3 years, so nothing in the early seasons intentionally foreshadowed this

>5 minute intro
>8 seasons of TV

farcry did it first

YAAAAAAAAAS QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN SLAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY

The title sounds based, but if you read the actual review, the dude is just jerking off over how epicly bad is Arya is.

What if the night king allowed himself to be killed cause he infected Bran and he will become the night king.

Imagine thinking after all this time that the Big Bad is the Night King and not Cersei Lannister. Have you even been watching? Who did the Night King even kill? The shittiest dragon?

That's the joke, retard.

imagine thinking these were the only options lmao; d&d stop posting

Oh, so you're comparing a TV show to three novels? K, just checking. Makes sense.

I can say from the fact that there are only 3 episodes left that this is not the case.

Based

Based

>they create a convoluted scheme for bran getting this magical dagger to her
>the end result is still fucking retarded
That would just make it even worse because theres no plan to help arya even kill him, she just appears and does

Now you're just really embarrassing yourself. Stop posting. It went over your head and now you can't recover.

>one moment error of nk's arrogance, which has been shown a few times before
we saw in this episode he has incredible senses and can tell when someone is approaching behind him, like with jon, and that was when he was completely alone, not surrounded by his elite ice guard and a thousand zombies

>unironically thinking that cersei is the final boss
It's obviously going to be Jon vs the dragon bitch

sekiro style, i like it

why didn't he set it up months before? why do it mid battle? in fact, thw way time travel works in the show he could do it after the battle too it wouldn't matter so long as it gets done eventually

>dagger
>gimme the dagger!

>Let's... kick... some ICE!
Was that line really necessary?

>this pic describes me at the end

Attached: 1529472624061.jpg (1200x1200, 210K)

No. Get a grip. You're upset about a sub-plot on a fantasy TV show. Dollars to donuts you watch next week anyway. Like a bitch.

Euron is going to kill everyone and win

Thats why all the characters think the ending sucks

nice image user

YOWIE ZOWIE! RIGHT IN THE ICE CUBES!

You fucking imbecile, the white walkers are not directly under the NK's control like the whights are, and there were at least 10 of them there.

You're so dense that you don't even realize that I was making a joke agreeing with you. Now, feel stupid yet?

Underrated

Tbqh the GoT one is a bit less retarded because she at least does it with a different hand

I missed your inflection.

too fast for the eyes bruh, watch more anime.

The hidden clue was that there were no Nazgul guards at the entrance to Mt. Doom either in the books or the movie. I know, it was tough to get from mere text.

This. The next three episodes will feel like a huge post credit scene.

there's a shot a a wwalker looking behind him because he senses arya

Mate they spent 1 hour 30 minutes on this episode and countless millions. It's clearly the fan service ending to the NK story line. What they're going to say "NK isn't dead, gotcha!!!" I mean they're shite writer but at the point execs at HBO would tell them no.

So you’re the Night King huh? Ice to meet you *stab*

>when a comment on an ancient Tibetan basket weaving forum makes more sense than the writing of the show

Attached: 1550605835069.png (375x409, 124K)

She was trying to assassinate him not fucking fight him, you dingus.

>live for thousands of years
gets killed by 17 year old how just lost her virginity an hour ago

Theres gonna be a backstory brah

Bran wogs into the past to know more about the Night King but ends up becoming him

based

If Arya had whispered "sweet boy" before stabbing the NK it would have been kino.

bump

>and stabbed him with it instantly.

I wouldnt say instantly

Imagine how stupid it would be for Valeera to teleport behind Arthas and single-handedly end the scourge.

Do people actually enjoy this retardation or are they all just pretending in order to be social?

for who was this episode made, for bats?
i cant see a single shit its just to dark for fucks sake

Attached: tenor.gif (498x351, 2.88M)

seasons 1-4 and the books up til storm of swords are good, prove me wrong

>Not "H-HAYAI (translators note: hayai means fast in japanese)"
Missed opportunity

He didn't even get stabbed in that spot either. How do these retards get a job like that?

I want all of you nigga's saying this shit is like anime

It's not
It's not like Anime

Anime has never done this shit
The worst naruto episode has more planned out shit for Naruto to pull out of his ass than to just teleport to a nigga and kill him in one shot

No
Stop it

In the scene right before she jumps, it shows a white walker whos hair blows forward, implying she runs by them like le wind.

>instincts are so acute that he is able to sense the presence of opponents who are spying on him THROUGH TIME and effortlessly reaches out and grabs Bran without so much as looking at him in weirwood land
>waits paitiently behind the wall for centuries somehow knowing dragons will magically return to the world
>surrounds Jon and company on the lake, having plenty of opportunity to kill them all, yet knows to wait for Dragon Queen to show up with Dragons
>Effortlessly hurls ice spear through dragon’s heart on first try
>has undead army and posse of white walker bros standing guard
>can’t see Arya and her retarded knife trick coming
This show is the worst thing that has ever happened on television

Because he underestimated her, due to being a woman.

basically confirms theres really no NK and that Euron prolly smashes the wall & takes the army of the undead somehow. DnD are hacks, managed to render the kino first 3 seasons meaningless

nice samefag

I'm talking about this episode

>t. quasimodo

>It's well established she has the skill to sneak up on anyone, as she is no one.
genius writting. now all they have to do is stay in KL until she kills cersei and euron and its over.

Just odd he is so "arrogant" like people say yet he always just raised the dead to keep doing shit for him while sitting back like a cold, calculative son of a bitch. Instead of beating jon 1v1 like an arrgoant character he just does the smart thing - raise the dead cause he's just one guy not worth his time. But then he decides "ah yes just let me slowly try to kill bran myself even though I know exactly where he is all the time and have plenty top tier soldiers to do it for me".

she should have been in the tree and jumped down on NK

>becomes a good man™
>dies
???

Attached: theon-greyjoy.jpg (618x412, 36K)

When she stabbed him I was hoping at the very least he might manage to snap her neck or something in time before he disintegrates

He died an honorable death and redeemed himself. Turned into an absolute chad shortly before death despite not even having a dick.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how fucking incompetent the combined army of Bravos and North were at waging wars?
>Sends cavalry as a frontal attackers
>Position siege weapons in front of the army. Only uses them once
>Unsullied cant form a singel fucking phalanx
>After the force retreat behind the walls, they just wait instead of grabbing bows and raining arrows onto the battlefield
>Their whole plan to light the trench was to fire arrows on the wooden part?
>Once the Trench is lit they just stare at the army without shooting any arrows
>When the enemy is right under the walls they cant attack them (Winterfell is horribly designed fort with no wall defense mechanisms)
>Use dragons as dogfigters instead of using them to burn walls-climbing walkers
Its like they were trying to lose the battle.

Attached: battle_of_the_gebora_svg[1].png (734x600, 194K)

If he has to be stabbed in that exact spot WHY ISNT IT FUCKING ARMORED

This faggot op

>You're a good man, Theon, now chill the fuck out for 2 minutes, this will all be over and you'll still be alive.

See what? I can't see shit

>Their whole plan to light the trench was to fire arrows on the wooden part?
No. They signaled Jon and Dany to have the dragons do it, but the storm blocked the signal from being seen.

Why was his armor so weak?

And how did Arya stab him when he's holding her away at ARMS LENGTH while Arya's arms are much shorter? You need to be close anyway to stab with full force.

Attached: amor.jpg (1398x745, 57K)

bet your boyfriend doesn't kiss ya

Attached: Untitled4.png (438x409, 11K)

Is Bran the most useless jobber piece of shit in the entire series? He literally didn't do fucking anything except serving as a bait.

This I like

BUT HE WASN'T STABBED IN THE SAME SPOT, HE WAS STABBED IN THE ABDOMEN, THE COTF STABBED HIM IN THE CHEST

AAAAIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEI
youtube.com/watch?v=ONlHoRJI9dc

Because you failed to add the length of the dagger to your equation.

Oh, they meant to use dragons to do this mundane fucking job, huh? Thats even more retarded.

Nah

>3 hours in paint

Because valyrian steel is super duper sharp, bro!

Off yourself
