How the FUCK did she do it? Did the walkers near the NK just allow her to come and backstab him?
How the FUCK did she do it? Did the walkers near the NK just allow her to come and backstab him?
Other urls found in this thread:
this is the question thats nagging me, she coudnt sneak past some normal low tier zambies, how could she get past all those ice soldiers, where they just drooling around waiting for the night king to do his shit?
le assassin magic
they used a nothing personel kid technique, literally.
I figured NK telepathically told his goons to let her pass so he could make a show of murdering her right in front of Bran's eyes before he killed him as well
Don't think about it too much bro, it was the best episode in tv series give it a 10/10 on IMDB.
Meli used some shadow magic to conceal her long enough, didn't you pay attention?
I made 3 threads but they keep getting deleted
There was a gap in the horde where the NK walked in and she ran through it before they could realize
Let's not forget him either.
Overrall, would Yea Forums say he did anything considerable in the entire series?
Even the lowest anime would have done it better
Bran warged into her to boost her speed by 10000%
>Did the walkers near the NK just allow her to come and backstab him?
Yes.
This will go ignored
>tfw bran gave arya the dagger last season and gave her a special look... he knew...
>tfw arya uses the dagger that was once used to try and kill him in season 1 by the assassin sent by littlefinger, and now arya uses that same blade to save bran... he knew
>tfw melisandre told us in season 3 this would happen
It's shit how easily she killed the NK, but atleast the groundwork was laid out and it didn't appear out of nowhere, I guess? It would have been better if arya stabbed the NK in a vital spot, but then he doesn't die, gives her a good moment of ''he would have died if he were a normal being'' but then he rampages on and they flee south and theres another battle at kings landing and jon kills daenerys to create azarhfbdhdbsan FUCK...
Why did he even invade again?
nightly king was busy looking at bran the thing he wanted most so the ww and wights weren't being controlled by him at that moment.
She smeared zombie guts all over and wore some dead dude's face. the REAL question is why didn't everyone in Winterfell do this when the horde came? It's like they've never seen a zombie flick before or something 0/10 stupid writing
This, he was clearly warging and micromanaging throughout the series but Bran had his full attention for once
they can't see you if you don't have a face
Notice the wisp of hair blowing, that's her rushing past the Walkers at very high speed
huh yeah he acquired superpowers and he revealed the truth about Jon that's not nothing
What about the part where Melisandre talked to her about the different color eyes she would wear. She mentioned blue. Im assuming Arya disguised herself as a whitewalker
because evil and shit lol fuck the sun eternal night because..................... why not lmfaoo
Yeah,he somehow abused the magic filter that keeps making him uglier every passing second
he's running away from the REAL threat in the far north.
he's bitter about getting btfo by forest lolis
Because that little potato was Azor Au Gratin all along. Melisandre foreshadowed it from the beginning.
The actual sequence itself was complete and total shit, just like GoT the last few seasons.
All he was doing was standing there reaching for his sword, we've seen the NK performing more complex tasks numerous times throughout the series all while the wights are still active. What bothers me is why the Night King felt he had to personally kill Bran when sending the horde in full steam would've wiped everyone out eventually. It's not like Bran is only weak to one type of material like the NK is.
she was talking about the colors of the eyes she CLOSED dumbass
She's just that good
they needed to show how all the listening zombies from before missed someone running fast enough to nothing personnel kid the night king
He ignored her because she has a 3/10 face
I fucking loved that shot. You literally immediately could tell what was going to happen. The after-thingy talked about how they tried to made her disappear after that fire dude died, but I was just waiting for it. That wind and head turn completely made my day and I think that's a great, great use of just two seconds.
It's just like my animes!
pretty sure the fire lady did some voodoo magic
otherwise she fired up the 2 most useless things in the fight :the dothraki and the barricade
His fall had impact
>this is real
wtf just tackle her
uhhh sweaty, she's a strong woman and don't need not explain no stuff
Literally did nothing
The ending of this episode pissed me off big time. Arya had trouble sneaking around those 10 or so undead in the library, so somehow she sneaks by ALL of the white walkers, the undead army, and is able to 12 story leap right at the Night King? And somehow the Night King forgot that humans have two hands?
Why is this being ignored its literally this you fucks
Evading taxes from the night emperor
Melly reminded her what we say to the God of Death and that recharged her mana so she could activate ninjutsu again. She ran out in the library
he's searching for his glasses
How does this explain Arya running past all those wights without anyone noticing her
Goddammit im so fucking pissed off. The first hour of that episode was nearly flawless. Not perfect but goddam was it close. From the pacing. The tracking shots. The scope. Just the badassery of it all. Then, what the fuck? Arya is all of a sudden a pussy? Until she gets a pep talk? From someone she wanted to fucking murder? Just a “buck up buttercup” and shes good to go? How did she get out of that room and past 1000s of wights and past 7 white walkers? Pissed me off that her mary sue powers just flick on and off like a switch to push the plot. And the night king is fucking hyped for 9 goddam years, takes a full nuke blast from a dragon, then a 13 year old girl stabs him? Thats fucking it? I started reading these goddam books in 2005 and thats the fucking ending? So fucking cersie, the least charasmatic characters, is the final boss? And how the fuck did sam survive? Nigger can hardly swat a fucking fly and he’s holding off hundreds of wights. Too many goddam characters had plot armor for a fucking show whos entire shtick is nobody is safe. And the crypts reanimated but I cant get a sean bean cameo? What the fuck? And why did dany just sit her goddam dragon on the ground to get covered in goddam zombies? Jorah died for no fucking reason and at least 6 other characters should be fucking dead. Fuck this goddam show im not watching another fucking episode
But they did notice her. It was just too late.
The NK literally palmed her in mid air
I haven't watched the episode yet, but Jesus Christ, what the actual fuck.
Maybe she had some White Walker face in her bag lol.
AND WHERE THE FUCK DOES GHOST KEEP GOING
God damn this shit is dark and blurry.
That's the episode, not the webm
Hokuto No Ken is invincible
Maybe because NK had ordered them to stand around in a circle to enjoy the show, they were a little less responsive to threats. Arya's 'nothing personal kid' really should have been shot from here perspective.
It's not like she spent forever learning to be a ninja with king ninja (Jaqen H'ghar) or anything...
It's not like they foreshadowed this just two episodes ago (Jon by the exact same Weirwood tree: "How did you sneak up on me like that?") or anything...
N-NANI?!
White Walkers are different they follow orders but aren't brainwashed. they have a mind of their own.
>But they did notice her. It was just too late.
That's what I meant, how didn't anyone but the NK notice her in time? How on earth could she run so fast so the wights don't even react, were they on standby mode? I'm just trying to understand what actually happened, in pic of the gap in the horde she still has to run/sneak past all of them to get to NK in the first place? How did nobody notice her during that time am I missing something?
The White Walkers were just there for prop. They didn't really do anything.
Faceless Men school is basically pic related
>How on earth could she run so fast so the wights don't even react
Super Secret Faceless Man Technique #27
This explains absolutely zero
>And somehow the Night King forgot that humans have two hands?
there's nothing to indicate the NK is a flawless fighter or unbeatable. For all we know he was a random footsoldier in some ancient king's army. For all we know he wasn't a soldier at all. What makes him scary are his powers over ice and death, not that he can swing a sword. Strip that away and I'm willing to bet he would get crushed by the Mountain in 10 seconds.
joffrey sent the assassin not littlefinger
>How the FUCK did she do it?
Remember, when last we saw Arya she was silently sneaking around and through wights. She made her way out of that room and into a hall when she bumped into the Hound and Beric. They fled into a room where Melisandra appeared. Arya says to Melisandra "You said I'd shut many eyes forever. You were right about that". Melisanda says to Arya, "Brown eyes, green eyes, and blue eyes. What do we say to the God of Death"? Arya replies, "Not today" and looks back at Melisandra with a "I know what I must do" glance. Melisanda nods in approval at Arya's prescience, and Arya instantly runs off the screen.
From that moment, she immediately stealthily made her way to Bran in the courtyard. She hid in the shadows for the Night King to appear. Waited for her moment, and pounced. Arya was already there in the shadows well before the Night King and his minions arrived there.
>nearly flawless
Think about what happened for more than 10 seconds you mongoloid. Dothraki went in with no obsidian weapons. They charge headlong to die for no reason. All the wildlings, unsullied and dothraki are standing in FRONT of the defenses. How could you watch that and not roll your eyes unless you have extra chromosomes?
i still believe he fucked up the mad king somehow and caused the whole actual game of thrones to start
It's shame they didn't even bother using Arya's ability to change faces, that would be at least somewhat reasonable
You guys are severely underestimating the strength of a quick, unhesitating attack. It immediately puts your enemy in a defensive position and they are forced to react to you. Somebody like Arya who has been training for years for these exact scenarios is going to be more of a threat to the Night King than say Jon Snow who approaches slowly with sword in hand. If the Night King sees you coming than you have already lost the fight because of his vastly superior combat skills. Unless you see these ultra-aggressive tactics implemented in real life scenarios it can be hard to grasp why someone like Arya could possibly be the one to defeat the Night King. I employ this tactic in Fortnite all the time and the success rate doesn't lie. The best, and virtually only way, to defeat a superior opponent is to immediately put them on the defensive.
at speeds that would put sonic to shame pffft didn't know the faceless men had the flashstep ability.
honestly i thought GRRM was against black and white shit like good vs. evil. i mean i believe that D&D might have completely ignored his original plan for the ending and just did their own shit because they could but if we literally don't find out anything about their motivation in the books besides that they're evil and want to kill everybody it's going to be total garbage.
Alternative ending
Jon Snow manages to get past the Blue Dragon with the help of the Black Dragon, the one that escaped from the field with the undead on his back. Starts attacking the wraith at the entrance, kills one or two of them, some of the undead fall to the ground because their commander wraith died. The Night king after killing Theon that still tries to defend Bran, sees Jon and orders the undead to focus on Jon . Arya sees an opening with Johns distraction and pulls Bran out of the way, goes for the NIght King. Stabs him but he doesn't die. All the undead feel pain and stagger over. Night King manages to wound Arya and she falls back taking Bran to safety.
Jon Snow starts killing more of the undead and Wraith that are to weak to fight back. He makes his way to the Night King, they start fighting. NK is still to powerful and almost kills Jon. At the last moment Daenerys arrives in the courtyard with the last dragon and after she gets a nod from John, makes the dragon shoot fire at them both. Daenerys is in tears but Jon is not dead he can withstand the fire and amazed for a second his eyes glowing fire red, he strikes the neck of the Night King with his sword taking off his head, and killing all the undead.
Jon Snow can no longer hide he is Aegon Targaryen
you literally cannot defend this shit
they probably filmed a shot where a zombie changes into Arya but decided to just make it a complete surprise.
there is foreshadowing for basically a completely different conflict in the books, with no zombie dragon and a different final boss. in the books the NK isn't even literally a character, the name is for a character in a fairytale that D&D decided to use as the big bad in the show.
Duskendale fucked up the Mad King though. Unless Brann turned into a mouse in the pirson and spoke about beautiful rape to Aerys II I think ur theory is bunk.
>were they on standby mode?
well they were when Theon made his charge so i guess they still were when Arya attacked
YESSSSS , thank you this is what i expected all along, that the mad king goes crazy because of Bran trying to make him burn the undead shows him the future, but he starts burning everyone.
dabid saw this and thought it was a great idea, fucking hell.
the night's king and the night king are different characters, but you're right that there is no leader of the white walkers in the books, at least by the end of book 5.
Friendly reminder
>faceless men use their masks to cleverly manipulate and kill people
good
>faceless men are anime deus ex machina nothing personells
bad
/thread
She had to sacrifice her acting career in order to be immortalized as the biggest mary sue in the fantasy universe, and solidifying Tolkien as the greatest fantasy writer of all time, and George Martin being merely a hack in regards to him.
Did you watch the show? There was a bigger gap than that
WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE A GAP THEY ARE LITERALLY 10,000+ ZOMBIES??????????????????????
i think the books have been bad since book 3 and will probably never get finished but the show pretty much abandoned the source material and started doing their own thing like 3 or 4 seasons ago.
For the Night King to get to Bran
Because it's as bad as the teleport. You either move fast, or your move silently. So, if she was running they would've heard her, and swarmed her. If she was being 2sneaky4u, they would've seen her when she walked past them.
Either way, it's hilariously embarrassing.
the courtyard is within the castle walls, were she was to begin with, big brain
Why did NK not close the gap behind him? Iirc he's psychically connected to all of them.
the fucking state of retard fags
SHE TOOK THE FACE OF A WHITE WALKER TO GET CLOSE THEN LUNGED AT HIM
its not that fuckin hard to grasp
Since the first season they've discussed Arya's training to be ninja stealth and cat like, and also went out of their way to mention the secret passageways through Winterfell for lords to escape. It makes perfect sense. She's been training half her life for this, and she is on her home turf.
in that gap was where the white walker lieutenants were standing though
That makes no sense because she jumped from behind him
how? white walkers vaporize when you kill them
Their swords were on fire. Wights =/= white walkers and dont require valarien steel or dragonglass
reddit fags are saying that she couldnt sneak because she was injured, which makes no sense whatsoever
What's the armor for? She just poked him a little and he disintegrated.
I've got no idea what you're trying to say.. Nobody is trying to figure out where it happened.
He thought he had won
And you saw the indication that they saw her but it was too late. Also go back to the last episode where she was able to sneak up on Jon Snow when it was incredibly quiet.. Not while a huge battle is raging in the background like in tonights episode.
It's not the ending for the NK I wanted, and I'm not defending the choice of the show creators.. I'm just saying it's not the plot hole the brainlets on here think it is.
Fag
>she ran through it before they could realize
This. The very first scene in the book gives a different representation. It gives us the information that the Others are smart, have their own technology, magic and culture and are able to talk. If i'm not mistaken they also toyed with Royce or whatever his name was, mocked him and generally had way higher thought than "hurr durr i'm evil and i'm gonna destroy the world"
secret passages in godswood? fuck off
that assassin training where she really ended up learning fuck all and quit early made her able to sneak through ranks of tightly packed ice zombies and white walker lieutenants? fuck off
I can't believe people are defending how fucking stupidly overpowered the goblin is. There should be zero tension left in the show because there's absolutely nothing stopping her from just sneaking up on Cersei and effortlessly killing her.
she was in the tree prior to nk arriving
Ya kinda pissed me off that jon didn’t get torched. Woulda been cool to see it and him shirtless again
The most logical answer I've seen somebody come up with is that she was hiding in the trees. My question is, "Why would she be hiding in the trees?" Can she tell the future? Did she know The Night King was coming to kill Bran personally? Did she sneak past Theon and all the wights who were attacking Bran?
Either Arya teleported behind The Night King or she is a precog and knew that he would come to personally kill Bran.
It is simply retarded from a narrative perspective. Why wasting a scene showing her struggling to pass unnoticed to random wights if later she easily get past way more wights, a lot of white walkers and the night king himself?
Melisandre told her what she needed to do. Hint - the blue eyes.
Books better be different azor ahai isnt some girl with a dagger
>And you saw the indication that they saw her but it was too late. Also go back to the last episode where she was able to sneak up on Jon Snow when it was incredibly quiet.. Not while a huge battle is raging in the background like in tonights episode.
That would make sense if NK was standing alone with Bran without a horde of undead and the wights. She didn't even sneak up on him because he noticed her. If she followed him in the gap that was created, how could you possibly sneak through that when it's surrounded by the dead and wights and she couldn't have ran the whole way without anyone noticing her.
So the walkers hunted her down at the sound of a 6 inch blood drop, but they didn't hear her coming full sprint. riiiiiiiiight
People defending this are just enjoying some good times trolling trolls, right?
No doubt it will be. But the books will never be released. The fat fucks is probably eating donuts right now rather than writing.
Shows way past the books dipshit
i hate that this is actually the real answer
To bend the knee but he was too late
>Melisandre told her what she needed to do. Hint - the blue eyes.
That doesn't answer my question at all. Knowing to kill The Night King =/= knowing where The Night King is.
>Also go back to the last episode where she was able to sneak up on Jon Snow when it was incredibly quiet.
One guy with his back turned. Not a man surrounded by 100 of his minions.
>How the FUCK did she do it? Did the walkers near the NK just allow her to come and backstab him?
She was hiding in the tree. That's my only explanation to how she did that.
Why didn't the NK just crush her throat?
Why did the giant try to eat that annoying little girl instead of snapping her in half?
Wasn’t luring the NK to kill Bran their plan?
I don't see what's so outrageous about a passage leading from the main hall to the gods wood. The Godswood is where the Maester, Bran and Rickon ended up when they were fleeing Theon.
And all the white walkers were standing down, as apparently ordered. They didn't attack Bran or Theon.
And if you think Arya learned nothing from her training then it looks like you may have skipped a few seasons. I had my issues with this episode, but Arya wrecking shit is not one of them.
Looks neat desu
You mean the ones that were actively looking for people? She didn't struggle until she got her fucking head bashed in.
Again, she was noticed. Watch the scene again. All the wights had their attention on the NK and Bran. They weren't looking around, they weren't looking behind them - they were locked on in the direction of Bran and the NK.
They didn't hear her, how would they know to turn around?
Fair point. Maybe Bran warged into her.
The point was she was able to do it when it was dead quiet to Jon Snow. Why wouldn't she be able to be just as quiet when there is a battle raging around and surely far more background noise?
I just don't see how this one is difficult to comprehend.
>Why did the giant try to eat that annoying little girl instead of snapping her in half?
HBO forced them to include a scene of Lyanna killing a giant because of focus groups
He's like a capeshit MCU villain.
Barely any backstory to what they are doing except "Hurr he evil"
>the state of GoT writing
i thought she fell from the tree? that makes much more sense
night king was watching his back but not his top
underrated
This has to be it. Pretty gay but ok?
She rushes past them -
This is what I assumed as well. All those whites were just standing there staring. Knight King had ordered them to stand down, they didn't seem to be any more observant than mortals, who Arya is absolutely used to moving unseen amongst. If I go back so S1 I can probably easily point out a dozen scenes that focus on her sneaking abilities. Stealth is probably her highest level skill.
is it me or is it incredibly anticlimactic to have a huge battle and defeat the army of the dead and then just go and fight cersei like 1 or 2 episodes later? there better be some decent twists besides just a few of the main characters dying.
He was gonna smooch her
bullshit his aim with a spear is perfect, no ordinary footsoldier can throw like him
loli tastes good
Even in this scenario you are proposing (which I dont totally buy), the entire collective evil forces just stopped paying attention and let the good guy run through the middle of a large crowd completely untouched in an active battlefield. That is lazy as fuck, and I can already think of cleverer ways they could have given Arya the shot. It was a fucking poor scene, and it stole the climax of Jon's narrative
no it was personal with bran, not really difficult to see that he and the undead were distracted
bravi
to where in the godswood? a trapdoor in the fucking ground that's conveniently in front of the white walker ranks but behind the night king? fuck off
>And if you think Arya learned nothing from her training then it looks like you may have skipped a few seasons
of course she has "learned" to be stupidly overpowered, but it was never shown, it feels unearned and contrived
like I said, it is retarded making a character this capable of an assassin. She could literally solve all their problems with Euron/Cersei in a day.
>The point was she was able to do it when it was dead quiet to Jon Snow. Why wouldn't she be able to be just as quiet when there is a battle raging around and surely far more background noise?
>I just don't see how this one is difficult to comprehend.
Because if she sneaked by them all before rushing, she would have taken the same route NK did when the dead opened up for him to pass. The only path is the one that's surrounded by the dead there's no open space safe for that small gap, how do you sneak past when you are in sight of everyone that's standing there
Maybe they'll all fucking die to Cersi and Bran will vow revenge and turn into the next night king.
Should have said "No man can kill me"
The walls are close enough to the tree with a face on it to jump from them to its branches watch the intro NERD
She ran through the gap quickly, which is indicated in the scene that was posted in this thread earlier.
Better question
How the fuck does Cersei avoid teleporting anime slash death from Arya?
How does the fleet stop Arya?
Theres no twist big enough to redeem this episode
>Library with 0db of sound
>Outside with way more db of sound.
Gee, I wonder.
Was there no way she could have prevented Theon's suicide then?
I literally cant even tell where that is in relation to the center, and because its so dark, i cant tell how large the opening truly is or if there are zombies in the black parts inside the red circle, and thats all in addition to the fact that apparently most people couldn't see it. The scene was horribly shot and executed even if it was properly set up (it wasnt)
He missed. I mean 50% FG is pretty good from deep but not perfect
What really confused the fuck out of me was when suddenly Arya was inside the library and some slow quiet zombs as well. I expected a time skip. The battle was mostly over and the dead are everywhere. But then cut to outside, the battle is still raging.
So why was she and Beric and the Hound inside when there was enough to do outside?
plenty of time to maneuver to another position
Haiyai!
that "gap" was filled with white walkers before they blow up into ice literally frames earlier
Episode 6 info leaked guys, here is Arya.
melisandre used the charm she used on herself to pass the undead army and used it on arya
it's not rocket science, they hit you over the head with it
Arya got in over her head and ran whens he lost her spear. Hound was being a pussy, but saw her in trouble and went to help. Beric went along to make sure Hound didn't get himself killed
>arya teleports from boat to boat stabbing a hole in the ships only weak point
That's so silly
>That doesn't answer my question at all. Knowing to kill The Night King =/= knowing where The Night King is.
She knew where Bran was. She knew NK wanted to get Bran. Impossible plothole.
They could actually see her running dead ass sprint. Hearing isnt even the issue
She's assassin. It's basically her job
For sure, I just think the library sound argument is dumb.
Lol stop
At least she's confirmed dead. Could have easily survived that fall and injuries like anyone else.
How the fuck would she be able to just run through there without anyone noticing or reacting?
Fucking ninja speed
So, was the spirit of Rhaegar Targaryen in milesandre? She had a ruby in her necklace keeping her alive.
Yes, but assassins have to adhere to fucking rules of physics
They can't just teleport into thin air and kill someone.
Her dropping from the tree would have been a better explanation.
>Either Arya teleported behind The Night King or she is a precog and knew that he would come to personally kill Bran.
They all discussed in the planning phase that the NK would personally come after Bran. It was expected.
he's zombie dumbfuck
So basically Iron Bank of Braavos?
then what was with the rush of air against the white walkers hair?
its a fairytale
Imagine comparing this trash to lotr
It's kind of like LOTR when Gondor gets defended, then they all march to Mordor and stall while waiting for Frodo to destroy the ring.
cause she's a strong independent wammen and he was a misogynistic toxic white conservative male incel patriarch. fucking duh.
Now imagine she's actually the Waif. There would be a general meltdown.
>How does the fleet stop Arya?
No stopping the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.
>t's not like she spent forever learning to be a ninja with king ninja (Jaqen H'ghar) or anything...
She was mostly cleaning the floor and then she had a fallout, killed another pupil and Jaqen smiled.
How did she get behind him without anyone stopping her? Did she jump from the tree above?
I'm not saying that's what happened, just that it would have been a better explanation for getting the drop on the NK.
>Melisanda nods in approval at Arya's prescience, and Arya instantly runs off the screen.
How can you not see how shitty this writing is?
Arya is capable of near perfect stealth and incredible speed beyond a normal human
she was hiding in the trees apparently
I like how some shots there are pretty much 1:1 copies of LOTR.
where is the pond?
>incredible speed beyond a normal human
Can you point to an event where this is shown? I can't recall anything about this particular trait she's supposed to have.
In wich scene is this? where did she cast that spell?
Gods, i miss season 1
The scene is earlier in the thread, she whooshes past the walkers and leaps for the killing strike
Probably frozen.
>and we're hiding in the trees, we're in the trees! Tourlou tourlou, we come down, we punch you and kick you a few times and rob ya!
How the FUCK did he know about the AGOT spoiler?
Hot springs don't freeze and even them you probably shouldn't light a camp fire on ice.
I meant previously shown before that scene, like earlier in the season or in the previous seasons.
frozen over, covered with snow
you can see it if you squint your eyes, there are bodies on it
Oh, then no never
If the NK listened to his generals and waited to invade Winterfell, he would have taken over all of Westeros.
Towards the end of the war, the NK was hopped up on Milk of the Poppy and this effected his decision making.
What makes you think that's a hot spring?
>covered in 5 cm of snow
He rode more than one dragon.
racial (goblin) stealth, or just a asspull making her the perfect assassin
You guys don't get it, they let her through just like they let theon through because the night king would roflstomp her. They didn't see the ol' knife hand switchero coming.
I hate this fucking show so much
The fact that they mention in like 5 times in the books It's the reason Winterfell is significant. Some retards actually believe the hot springs are powered by a sleeping dragon.
lmao what have the hacks done now
you watched it compressed online. Watch it on tv in 1080p and suddenly things looks amazing.
Ok Mr HBO shill, I'll think about that
ohnononono
You know what, I'm just going to accept that she was so silent that the Night King's generals didn't even notice her until she had already run past them, and by then it was too late
I get all this but it just wasn't executed well. It came off too easy.
>women can't fi-
Yea Forums incels btfo
>WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE A GAP THEY ARE LITERALLY 10,000+ ZOMBIES??????????????????????
Fire safety regulations do not block exits.
>DABID GET THE CRAYONS
15 MILLION PER EPISODE
We could feed/house/help millions of people but fuck that lets spend it on bad blurry CGI and cocaine to convince everyone this shit is above 4/10
"in the shadows"
Not even going to bother watching this season
she used le ''NOTHING PERSONEL YASSS QWEEN SLAAAAAYYY'' move
based spic.
*teleports behind you*
Azam Vagulis
The real reason is because bran was about to show them all the Sansa beautiful rape scene and so they were all mind-linked with the nk and only saw/felt /heard what he did
Bran was bait. This was there plan.
Yes NK is a fucken idiot.
Night King killed by the nanny state.
that actually would have been better than what happened.
So the super ice soldiers who were never useful even once in the series are less perceptive than the shit tier zombies she couldn't hid from earlier.
Why they didn't let her face change to Bran or a Zombie/WW to get past the guards is beyond me. Isn't that literally her skill? Wasn't there literally a hint from Mel ("blue eyes") to do just that? Hell, they even had Mels Ruby there to make the glamour stronger if needed.
>HBO forced them to include a scene of Lyanna killing a giant because of focus groups
Actually the commentary at the end states the directors wanted to use the actress more and give the "little people" something big to do.
that is why she had so much trouble in the library with the lesser undead, because she has perfect stealth. What about the wraith, did they just stood there not sensing a warm human passing by. Please, that is just bad
writhing
>try to shout warning
>can't speak
>in the books
in the lord video too
In the library she'd just taken a beating and was on an adrenaline comedown.
Melly reminded her what we say to the god of death and that pumped her up to go shank the NK
She put on her snek +100 cloak
IIRC, the final ending is roughly the same as the one we're getting in the books. They probably just have vastly different routes.
I remember reading this in some article with D&D, but I can't remember where, so I might just be pulling this out of my ass.
In fairness, if they were all standing around it's possible she could just run right past them, which would have eventually gotten her caught and killed if she didn't wipe them all out by killing the NK.
Theon was supposed to be Azor Ahai, his dick lightbringer, but Ramsay chopped it off so Theon couldn't light up the night.
I mean I think we can all get behind this but the show hasn't shown her every move that fast or quietly.
I think if they would have hinted in Season 7 at her actual speed it would have been more believable. But in her scenes in this battle, she's fast but doesn't show that kind of speed.
He sat around letting others do all the work for him for 8 years, so yeah I'd say he did exactly what everyone on Yea Forums has done their whole lives.
she had like 10+ minutes to find a great place to hide and this is the place she grew up in. totally not out of the question she pulls this off.
all he did with those superpowers is take a couple of birds on a fly
Apparently.
Now that all are dead we can never know.
Still a shame that during the whole battle not a single white walker did actually fight.
So your explanation is that arya stark is usain bolt
yes
The nights king wasn't a fairy tale, it's a comparison to bloodraven, and proof the others are looking for specific traits/bloodlines.
Do you even read bro
That would have been to confusing for the audience.
Some stupid teleport leap.
Even using a white walker dace to shamble up to him would have been more convincing but whatever episode was kino.
John fighting with the ice dragon in the courtyard behind was the best fantasy action since ROTK.
the worst part is now the show ends with cersi being a cunt and were supposed to care about the iron throne again
*grabs crotch*
Oy love Gendry busted me swollen
We bou have a red weddin aye?
they were all looking at theon
>Fire safety regulations do not block exits.
they always get ya
> roughly the same as the one we're getting in the books
i.e. Jon and Dany together on the throne.
But the way to get there is what makes it interesting. (or shit, in case of the show).
Remember, in the books Aegon Targaryen just landed with the golden company and threatens Kings Landing while Dany still is somewhere in Essos doing nothing.
she rolled a natural crit
Honestly if they showed her drop from the tree, that scene would have gone over way better.
BFS
>Their swords were on fire
They didn't know Melisandre was coming. Granted the shot of the lights slowly going out was one of the few good parts of the episode but it makes no sense unless you assume she was just sending all the Dothraki to die.
> a song of ice and fire
> the ice part gets deus ex machinad first episode they get to do something
What what was the fucking point. And why is bran alive, he has no purpose now, it better fucking be a twist and the White walkers aren’t defeated

I've been on Yea Forums since 2004, and I've NEVER seen someone sperg like this. Congrats.
You'd think they would have had him pull an Avatar/Eywa asspull and have all the forest animals attack the NK's army.
She can remove her new face after stabbing him since she would be out of danger.
Game of Thrones is a perfect example of what it would be like if some random redditor's wish came through and he got to write an ending to his favorite series. It's not even bad writing, at this point - it's downright fucking embarassing.
Or have the NK grab her and her new face falls off. They just needed it to show how she got close.
No she comes running and runs past the two white walker escorts, there's even a gust of wind as she runs past them, then jumps.
Kill yourself
the power of feminism
Some of you have never seen the final three seasons of Dexter, and it shows
Anyone who says "blue eyes" is foreshadowing is a fucking moron. Combined with "brown eyes, green eyes" she literally just meant to say "you are going to kill some people", but obviously Jew&Jew re-read some old scripts and decided that would be ebin foreshadowing to le tie the whole series together.
Embarrasing.
Of course they did this...
i did. It was equally terrible. But i managed to watch it until the finale when all my friends stopped and mocked me for doing it.
virginarasing.
Valar marghulas. All men must die. All women are invincible
How did Mely actually knew what the fencing teacher told Arya years ago?
There are no genders in Old Valyrian.
It could mean all men must die OR all women must die
Magic
pretty fucking based I must admit
She saw it in the flames.
gonna need the sauce
...
jon and dany are not going to end up together on the throne. that would be the lamest ending ever for the show and the books.
Just you wait..
EBIN BEAR LOLI LMAO XD
>people talking about the incredible sacrifice in that episode
>they're on about Lyanna not Theon, Jorah or Beric
I legit couldn't think of a better ending for Theon than having Bran saying 'you're a good man, thank you' after everything that happened with his character. And it's being forgotten for that corny shit she did.
>pregnant pause before saying "blue eyes"
>knowing glance at Arya as she says it
>Arya understands and immediately runs off to kill NK
If you can't see that foreshadowing then you might have legit autism and can't understand
Why not just run past them
so that 2 year old pasta of Arya killing the Night King actually came true LOL
They're on about it being foreshadowing all the way back from when Melisandre first said it in like the second season.
Arya was camping in a tree the whole time.
The zombies are literally braindead, all they were focused on is Bran and Theon.
drumpf and white people lost. get over it. now.
so this is modern prestige television from the company that brought you the wire and sopranos. epic. simply epic
She did it with the power of losing her virginity in the last episode. Its something incels like you will never understand.
10+ to all stats.
With all the talk about memory, I hoped that as the dead resurrected in the crypts of Winterfell, Bran was going to "give them memory," making them like his uncle Benjen. I was hoping that was the point of the old saying, "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell," as well as an explanation for the Starks, unique among the First Men, interring their dead in vaults beneath Winterfell instead of burning them. They were a contingency plan for if the Wall was ever breached - an army of countless generations of revenants to combat the Night King's army of wights.
>spend 8000 years waiting behind the wall
>get killed by a child on your first campaign
Just amazingly bad.
Extra lubrication between her legs makes her run faster. It's just science.
sauce?
They should have used the dragonball teleportation sounds for Arya.
did you not see her in the library sliding around quieter than dripping blood?
Bitch has teflon coated clothing. Her shoes are silent.
Remember when a man told a girl that he specifically couldn't kill Tywin Lannister on short notice at Harrenhall and the implied reason was that he was too well guarded and there was too little time to plan?
Those were good times.
The whole episode is retarded if you think for one second.
All the main characters were pinned against fucking walls with zombies when they invaded Winterfell and yet none of them were getting stabbed or fatally wounded. They shoulda been completely out of stamina and fucking dead.
There's even a shot of Sam crying like a bitch on top of a bunch of corpses and the zombies are just ignoring him.
ITT: Dunces
It's obvious that she came through untouched because the wights only fight/attack when the NK tells them to, and he was focused on Bran, not "telling them to fight". They're not animated on their own.
trying way too hard to defend shit writing
NK control everyone like marionettes and basically made everyone stand down while he turn Brad into a WW and erase history
his bravado killed him because he was so sure of his victory
Can she wear the night king's face now?
>Arya attempts to stab him, she gets caught and choked to death
>With NK distracted, bran wheels over and stabs NK
fixed
yes steal from tolkein more
This is the same show that showcased a man dying of infection
Alita did it better.
okay then
>Arya attempts to stab him, she gets caught and choked to death
>With NK distracted, bran wheels over, blows up his wheelchair wildfire bomb
>NK turns out of the wood straightens his tie and falls over dead
night king not naked king ok
you know what would have been funny?
if arya ended up teleporting behind the NK and getting stopped, only for bran to reveal that he had an obsidian knife on him all along and stab him in the back
People a coming up with some outrageous theories in reddit to justify he killing the NK, insteed of just addimiting the writting in the show is SHIT
