What was even the point of this character?
What was even the point of this character?
He was there for women to look at and finger themselves too
Yet another Red Herring like every other character in this series.
I guess you could say he played small part in this.
If people are revived by the lord of light to serve a purpose then Jon's wasn't to kill the Night King. Beric's was to save Arya who kills him.
So Jon Snow was just to distract the dragon? Sad!
Getting cucked by the Night King.
Jon is still alive so obviously his role hasn't been fulfilled. He's gotta kill Dany
yell at an undead dragon
God damn GOT fans are autistic
Does it matter who put the dagger in the NightKing? not really
This is obviously it, but the question is who rules westeros in the end?
>who cares about character development? characters should all be the same and have the same arc
>it doesnt matter that the character whose entire life has been about defending against the white walkers had nothing to do with their defeat, and it's fine that the character that has had nothing to do with the white walkers did defeat them. it's the same thing
kill you are self
Without Jon Westeros was fucked. He saved the wildlings, united the North by ousting the Boltons, and recruited a huge army including 3 dragons to fight the Others.
If they'd carried on squabling amongst eachother they'd have been utterly fucked
>What was even the point of this character?
"there must always be a Night King"
What was even the point of this character?
>9 years of army and campaign building
>not even the lineal heir to the throne
>sold to reavers and defiled
>birthed 3 dragons
>dothraki horde
>unsullied
>Arya pops out of a cupboard and stabs the Nightking
what in the fucking peggy sue is going on in here
>has nothing to do with their defeat
>was the one that armed Arya, setting her on a path
>was the one to actually discover the army of the undead
>was the one to discover how to kill the army of the undead
>was the one to unite Wildlings and Northmen
>was the one to take back Winterfell
>stops viserion from killing Bran
Without Jon, none of these people would have been there, everyone had a part to play
If it was solely Arya there she wouldve gotten killed in minutes
If Beric wasnt there she wouldve gotten killed in seconds
I was thinking the same about Bran. I expected him to pull of something cool to turn the tide of the fight, but no, he's still just sitting there surfing the crow web.
Arya most likely
I was joking about Jon killing Dany. She's the incarnation of the lord of light. Jon cannot conceivably kill Dany because he's her agent.
female fantasy
Should've stayed dead.
>does all of that and gets cucked in the end by a character that has nothing to do with this plotline at all
bravo user, bravo. protip: when you have to make shitty tangential excuses to prove why a character's actions/a writing choice wasn't actually as retarded as it appeared, and you need to resort to actions that literally but not thematically may have had connection to the event being discussed, you have a case of shitty writing
>Targ dies, heir is jon
>Robert dies, heir is the blacksmith
Money goes to the blacksmith because jon is simply a walking plot device like Beric.
