Miguel Sapochnik is such a good director for big battles. Can't wait for episode 5, another one. The only thing Game of Thrones still does right is big battle.

I know this is bait, but I don't really care the way they threw away the dothraki and then stood in front of the trench when they could have survived much longer with the spear units behind it is just baffling. I've never seen such a gross misunderstanding of tactics before in my life.

Great episode all in all but the lack of visibility killed it for me, I accepted it was probably intended to make us feel confused in the first ~15 minutes of the episode up until melisandre lit the dothraki swords but after that I was just annoyed that I couldn't see shit, when jorah came back after all of the dothraki got wrecked I genuinely thought he was riding back as a wight which kind if surprised me until I realised his face was just messed up.

My favorite scene was right at the beginning with the first dothraki attack wave
