Lot of livestreams with book fan youtubers losing their shit.

BUT IT MAKES NO SENSE. They do this on purpose.
can you link?
I thought muh subversion was just a meme but Im starting to think these libkike jewllywood producers are all on the same page in terms of destroying anything good about cinema and television.
I always skip their commentary because they are such fucking retards but my wife wanted to see it this time and god damn it was painful
I hate them so much.
>implying you saw it coming
because of the spoilers desu.
fuck them though
Repeat after me.

The way they explained the episode seemed so half assed even for them. I don't even know if they are trying at this point. So many plot holes this episode, I can't imagine the books happen anything like this other than Arya killing the Night King. There were epic scenes but no actual substance to the episode, just more fanservice to get the, their next paycheque.
>We've known for three years Arya would kill the Night King
Sounds like this confirms they made up that entire thing just for "shock value" and fan service. What a fucking terrible decision. Why even mention the prophecies if they're going to have Arya become an anime protagonist and kill the NK and win the war? Gods forbid they actually used a thematically fitting character like Jon or Jaime or even Dany.
Fuck the ending of this ruined the entire episode, probably the season and put a major stain on the series. I sincerely hope these two hacks never have any real success as writers in Hollywood again.
Pic related is basically D&D trying to write a story without material to take it from.

>In complete denial that the NK is dead, he believes he will be resurrected because if he isn't then the show is shitting all over the books "groundwork" and "themes".
did you hear their commentary?
they literally said that they made arya disappear for a few scenes to make the viewer forget about her
of course anyone over 12 sees her absence for 20 min and understands she's gonna be the one to show up "unexpectedly"
but no, these hacks think this is a great misdirection
star wars fans, don't get your hopes up...
kek
Nerdrotic's friend sounds like a broken man only 5mins in.
This
So fucking much this. I was going back with a forth with my ex and she could say why you just mad. Fuck I hate this society
Thanks for the Nerdrotic link, his friend articulates how I feel
People just need to realise that this show is written by and for low IQ retards and was only good in the first 4 seasons because it was carried by GRRMs plot
why not just have Hot Pie show up to kill the NK?
Expect that, bitches.
Game of Thrones S08 E03 end credits interview
>David Benioff:
For uh god i think its 3 years now or something we've known that is was going to be Arya who delivers that-that fatal blow.
>D.B. Weiss:
She seemed like the best candidate provided we weren't thinking about her in that moment, one of the great things about having this many people you care about in a sequence together is that you can kinda pull peoples attention and focus to people they care about alot to people like Jon, like Dany, Theon and Bran not to mention Tyrion and Sansa in the crypt so your going all over the place with people who you're desperately worried for and uh hopefully you forget about the fact that Arya Stark ran out of that castle with the battle drums playing and going towards some purpose and we don't know what until it happens.
>David Benioff:
We hope to kinda avoid the expected and Jon Snow has always been the hero the one whose been the savior but it just didn't seem right to us for this moment, we knew it had to be Valyrian steel to the exact spot where the child of the forest put the dragon glass blade to create the Night King and hes uncreated by the Valyrian steel. at the end of it-its still its uh victory for the living but at great cost because some of our favorite characters fall along the way.
These fuckers are making Star Wars movies.

>uh hopefully you forget about the fact that Arya Stark ran out of that castle with the battle drums playing and going towards some purpose and we don't know what until it happens.
what kind of braindead forgets about such an obvious hook
these guys are literally retarded
>mfw i didn't see arya coming
good episode desu
Brace yourself lads. Male feminist are everywhere. They're gonna bring that same bullshit over to Star Wars like we need more of that over there.
Book fags on suicide watch.
Muh long drawn out theory.
This like spits in the face if all that Harry Potter shit
The season script looks like it was made in a board room of social media marketers who tried to figure out how to write events so it would generate the most clicks and hashtags on social media. Then they told the writers to make it happen.
>ignoring 8 years of buildup, foreshadowing and prophecies just to subvert expectations
THE HACKERY OF DAVID BENIOFF AND D.D. WEISS EVERYBODY
Having something unexpected and surprising in your story does not make it good writing.
congratulations, consider my expectations subverted
>implying that's not how it's done
>you will shut brown eyes, green eyes
>obvious pause
>blue eyes
THESE FUCKING IDIOTS REALLY BANK ON ONLY THE NORMIE CUNTS WHO HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS WATCHING THIS SHIT HOLY FUCK
D&D had to show Disney that they can ruin a franchise just as much as Rian Johnson to justify Kathleen Kennedy hiring them to make SW movies.
Pic related: Anyone with a brain after seeing the end of this episode
it was unexpected because people didn't expect it to be this shit
Welcome to everything produced in human history
Don't forget them retroactively making Beric's many resurrections be so he could sacrifice himself to save Arya. Ya know, despite being dead in the books and shit so we know this isn't how it goes.
god seeing that gif and remembering the absolute kino that was S1-S4 is fucking depressing after what happened tonight
it didnt matter who killed that tyranid tier faggot the truth is there's no story.
>not using beric to give the kiss of life to literally anyone
a complete waste of character
>his purpose was to save arya from two wights she could've easily run past
fucking unbelievable man, i've been mad for hours
The episode makes sense.
I mean, really, it does. Season 1 started with Ned being "the main character". Everyone though he was gonna be the main character, gonna solve all the problems. And what happens to him? He dies. He's not the main character. He never was. That's not that kind of story.
Cut to season 8. Night King. The main villain. The big bad guy. The Great War. Well guess what? He's not a main villain. He dies. Cersei is the main villain and Euron with his big cock.
This show has REPEATEDLY trying to tell everyone it's not LOTR. This whole show, the whole theme is subverting your expectations.
"There's only one war that matters. The Great War, and it is here"
Said by a guy that was supposed to be the chosen one. Azor Ahai. But there was never Azor Ahai. He was never the chosen one, and there was never the great war. Just a big ass battle between Cersei that is just gonna sort of happen now.
The show begun with subversion and ended with subversion. That's what they always wanted to do. The only people that are fools are people who got baited.
There's a reason why David Benioff and DB Weiss were hired by Kathleen Kennedy. They operate on the same kind of thinking Rian Johnson does. Having your expectation subverted. Snoke never mattered just like Night Knight never mattered.
And now it begins. No, now it ends.
because it's shit you realize it requires actual good writers to do cool things?
if all you do is the unexpected you become the most predictable
season 1 / grrm's material is good because it knows how to alternate between subversive and not subversive
all these two hacks know how to do is nonsensical shit and yas queen slay
Subversion is bullshit. Ever since TLJ I associate it with bad/jewish writers.
people were making le epic memes about her killing the night king before it even aired.
Back when the characters were real people with real motivations and not marvel superheroes in a fantasy setting.
you fucking faggots didnt even know what subversion meant until TLJ.
>*kills Cersei*
Who would be your subversive pick?
The books didn't make any sense also. GRRM did this all the time. Killing main characters for no reason and red herring the shit out of all plot elements. Bookfags kept reading because where just too masochistic. In a sense the show follows the books in spirit.
holy shit trips confirm
Also Arya
Things are not as fucked as star wars
They are fucked, but star wars was just boring
i still want to finish the show
>Bron kills Cersei with the Crossbow.
>where is my fukin' castle you bitch
Would be so epic ftw!
So Arya killed:
>Meryn Trant
>A Faceless Man (Waif)
>All of House Frey
>Littlefinger
>The Night King and the entire Army of the Dead by proxy
And there are legitimate theories that she will go on to kill:
>Cersei using Jaime's face
>The Mountain along with The Hound
Bravo D&D.
jon is going to kill cersei and fulfill the valonqar shit when it's revealed that not only was he a targ all along but he was also a lannister as well
Subversion is supposed to shock and satisfy.
>I can't believe they killed Ned! What are the implications now that such an important character is dead? I need to keep watching!
>Fan favorite, Arya Stark kills the big bad. Characters with dead story arks are thinned out. There are no other consequences.
I was not shocked. I was not satisfied.
haha this overlord guy
"JUST"
Are you fucking kidding me? Yea Forums was predicting this shit months ago. There's that drawn image that's been getting passed around with Arya doing a "nothing personnel" on the NK that has been around for weeks now.
I don't even know how they can claim that. Right before she leaves they repeat / hammer in the point she is the one destine to kill all the blue eye'd (White walkers, night king). And right on cue she kills him and he conveniently is a load bearing boss.
D&D:
>we knew for 3 years that it was going to be Arya, so we continued the Jon Snow and Bran plots for no reason other than we aren’t creative.
“This is a good show!”
It was never a good show. Maximum subversion.
This, this, 1,000 times this
because of leaks you retard
Go back to r/gameofthrones
>”leaks”
This isn’t reddit
>hopefully you forget about the fact that Arya Stark ran out of that castle with the battle drums playing
you literally just said she'd kill someone with blue eyes
>some of our favorite characters fall along the way.
nobody we cared about died except maybe jorrah
what a shitshow
Who'd know this would be so accurate one day, heh
Exactly
>All of House Frey
I don’t know why this gets me even more than the Night King.
>arya killing nk was supposed to be unexpected and come as a surprise to the viewer
My brother let the extras ran this time and this was my face the whole time in that specific section. Fucking everybody and their mom had predicted that Arya was going to kill it i expected them at least to try to justify it with some magic having her taking someone else's form or something. But i guess they forgot her traning and that she knew literal MAGIC, all she really needed to learn was how to run and jump.
>Having Jon do it would be too predictable desu
Fuck these faggots.
That's not even subversion.
The Red Wedding was subversion.
this is the audience for current year game of thrones:
youtube.com
keep that in mind when you watch these episodes
When the red lady said 'blue eyes' then I knew. She should have used her face change powers to look like a zombie.
>Euron with his big cock
source?
My girl, she gets shit done. Rob who? Jon who?
Is no one going to talk about their shit choice in music? I mean, wtf was I supposed to be feeling while he was slowly walking towards little cripple bran and all the shows supposed heroes were dying off one by one? It literally sounded like they were trying to make the night king look triumphant...
Fuck you it's going to happen fuck you.
Yes
Feeling good that I didn't waste my time reading the audio books.
I knew d&d would fuck it up by playing favorites
It's amazing watching the first season episodes where the dialogue was basically word for word copied from the books. It's not exactly Shakespeare but it's 100x more complex and interesting than this horseshit. Everything now is just done to set up the battle scenes, it's literally just to appease the average normie retard who the show panders to.
what fucking garbage, I'm so glad I have the Deadwood movie to look forward to
Are we glad he wasn't around to be a part of this shitshow now?
arya kills nk
>wtf fuck dabid and dabid
dany kills nk
>yaaasss sley qwweeeenn... fuck dabid and dabid
jon kills nk
>boring as fuck wtf fuck dabid and dabid
bran kills nk
>meh saw it coming fuck those dabid and dabid hacks
Yea Forums in a nutshell
Jesus, it's like an entirely different show when I think back to those early seasons.
You're right, Jaime should have done it
>MHA posters in the back
Pottery.
>who didnt see this coming
From the moment we learned that Arya wanted to become a Faceless Man, I expected Arya to be the one to kill one of the great baddies in the climactic moment. I always figured it would be Arya who would kill either Cersei or the Night King.
As for tonight's episode, when they showed Arya sneaking her way around the wights, I completely expected Arya to kill the Night King. I didn't think it would happen the way it happened. I figured she would take a face from the female wight she killed. Also, I expected Arya to be hiding in the shadows around Bran. It seemed to me that she was working her way out of the castle to get outdoors. And then they didn't show her again. When the Night King appeared in front of Bran, I was 100% waiting for Arya to appear. I expected her to appear as a wight, of course, but I always expected Arya to play a central role in the Night King's climactic moment.
Aslo, I know I'm not alone in thinking this because I chatted about this very thing with many, many anons on this message board over the last four years or so.
BASED FUCKING DUBS AND TRIPS CONFIRM
absolutely based
This is pretty much like Rey dropper her lightsaber and the Praetorian Guard's weapon disappearing so she can pull off the move.
Except it's the Night King becoming stupid and not thinking the obvious: that she would catch the dagger with her free hand after dropping it. Literally the only thing Arya could do and despite catching her when she had the drop he didn't think of something THAT obvious.
>killing main characters for no reason
You're a retard if you believe that
Eddard dying, while unexpected to most, made complete sense.
He was a fish out of water, the honorable relic dropped in THE nest of backstabbing-filled political intrigue. Adding in Joffrey's instability being laid out and it was bound to happen.
Arya killing the Night King betrays all of the sensibility behind a good "unexpected" development.
>god seeing that gif and remembering the absolute kino that was S1-S4 is fucking depressing after what happened tonight
>Jesus, it's like an entirely different show when I think back to those early seasons.
they killed off charles dance, sean bean, jason momoa, david bradley, and jack gleeson, some of the best actors on the show. the ones that remained couldn't carry it.
Stannis jumping out of the tree and killing the NK would’ve subverted expectations the most
>Jaime
He's going to fight shoulder to shoulder with Brienne killing Lannisters and Euron's army. Cersei is going to see Jamie rescuing Brienne and looking at her in a loving admirable way that he never looked as Cersei. Cersei will get so jealous that she will order the Mountain to grab Brienne from behind and put a knife to her throat. Cersei will tell Jamie that he must slit his own throat or she will order the Mountain to slit Brienne's throat. Brienne tells Jamie "be the prince who was promised. You know what you must do", and Jamie will unsheath his sword, it suddenly bursts into flames, and he will plunge his sword through Brienne and into the Mountain, killing both.
Azor.
This whole time I wanted the Night King to go after Gilly's baby because his entire purpose was that he wanted the living to abide by the pact. The pact made because he's actually holding back the true enemy, The Great Other, ie the uncontrolled Army of the Dead which was ravaging them for generations and the only way to "win" that war was to create the Pact with between man and the children and create the white walkers to control the dead.
Which would fit why that damn spiral was showing up everywhere and why the white walkers would let some survivors go - they just wanted to get the message across. They need babies because the number of dead always grow - and the night's king needs more white walkers to keep the dead at bay.
I also wanted Arya to take his spot as the Lich King/Queen after they kill him and the Army of the Dead goes full apeshit on everyone and Bran realizes wtf they just did. It would tie up her arc nicely too if she helps Jon take the throne with Dany, using Ice and Fire.
It would've been 1000x better than what we got, which was just meh.
STANNIS THE MANNIS
I was waiting for Davos to run into Wight Stannis.
Imagine if instead...
>Grey Worm, Edd & Tormund die in the initial parts of the battle
>The people in the crypts are forced to flee from the rising dead and Tyrion uses Sansa's dragonglass dagger to save her after their moment. She reveals that she know a way out of Winterfell via the crypts
>The White Walker LTs actually engage in the battle. Jaime kills one with the help of Pod who dies in the fight. Brienne kills one and is injured and pulled to safety by Jaime. Arya kills one to save The Hound during his PTSD breakdown. Jorah kills one protecting Dany but is mortally wounded in the process. Davos is saved by Beric who sacrifices himself here to kill a White Walker
>The survivors flee to the crypts where they meet up with Sansa, Tyrion and the others and leave Winterfell with them, the warriors in the group keep fighting off old dead Starks as they flee.
>Theon still kills lots of Wights and sacrifices himself to protect Bran. >Bran is warging into Viserion so that Jon and Rhaegal can knock the NK off of his mount by injuring Viserion. >Rhaegal is still injured though and forced to land.
>Daenerys is forced to kill the injured and undead Viserion with dragonfire from Drogon to keep it from killing Jon and Rhaegal
>Now on foot, Jon makes it to the Godswood as the Night King is killing Theon and about to kill Bran. He intercepts the NK's sword blow and the two have a fight. Jon is injured but Rhaegal swoops in despite his injuries and rains dragonfire on the NK while Dany arrives on Drogon
>Jon grabs Bran and carries him to Drogon and they escape as Rhaegal runs interference for them. It is implied the dragon dies but it is left unclear
>Dany, Jon and Bran meet up with the other survivors south of Winterfell where the crypts exit
>The survivors look on as Winterfell burns and, having lost, head south to regroup before the true final battle
>Cut to black for several seconds
>Scene changes to the Golden Company marching up the King's Road to face the injured heroes
Given fifteen minutes, anyone in this thread could have come up with something better than what we got
Azor Jaime is best theory
A bunch of media outlets have already panned it. People stuck to their guns on TLJ because it had critics backing it. Everyone’s turning on this episode.
My eyes rolled so hard you could hear them in the next room watching that.
If it's supposed to be unexpected why the fuck do they have Melissandre speak about Beric's purpose and the blue eyes? Why the fuck neither Dany nor Jon are nowhere near him so you can at least doubt? It was obvious during the chapter that Arya would do it.
D&D's shit handling of this show is driving me to fanfiction now. Why did it come to this? I'm fucking disgusted.
>Watch the episode with my roomies
>One of my roommates is a pajeet
>He can't stop cackling while my best friend and I debate Arya being the one to kill the Night King
>Best friend defending Arya killing the night king
God he usually has better taste than this too
I knew for sure as a soon as red woman looked at her as she walked in.
The moment they ran out of material to adapt they were fucked, weren't they?
>tfw you didn’t see that coming
Just like the night king
Game of thrones is so fucking steeped in Western Culture and tradition why would you shocked that jewish outsiders want to subvert it?
It's essentially inspired by the War of the Roses with themes taken heavily from tolkien and other fantasy works
3 more fucking episodes until GRRM's gag order is lifted and he can talk shit all over D&D.
I'm actually of the opinion that HBO deliberately delayed the release of TWOW
The same cunt handling starwars is handling D&D, not that it really matters, This show went dumpster fire status in s4.
I mean sucks that they made his story shit but considering what we got now I'm glad they offed him.
since last season when Bran gave her the dagger, then they really hammered it home when Beric died to save her. Honestly you have to be a brainlet not to realise what was going to happen
It's not even a fucking finished franchise.
3 more episodes and the gag order on GRRM is lifted, TWOW will be released now that the gravy train is coming into the station, it will be nothing like the show.
The series will end dramatically differently.
D&D's effort will be wholly forgotten. in 10-15 years, after TWOW is released and ADOS is compiled and released (GRRM doesn't make it to 2025), someone releases an animated version of ASOIAF, that becomes wildly popular (for an animated show)
In 15-25 years, someone tries a live action again, this time with all the content fully established, and under the control of the GRRM foundation.
The GRRM foundation will officially ban the use of "Game of Thrones" for any ASOIAF successor, and it will be considered non-canon
I would've been okay with Arya killing cersei, at least Cersei was on that kill list of hers. But the NK? Really? All prophecies and shit just thrown out for this "Girl Power" bullshit moment
Just can't deal with the stupidity that is this episode
Ser? Milady? Is a broken man an outlaw?
what would need to happen in the next 3 episodes to redeem the series in your eyes, Yea Forums?
Usually I don't care about spoilers but I really can't be bothered to watch this episode and the rest after reading what happens.
An alive and well Littlefinger kills Arya.
You're absolutely right. It is obvious that the show's quality has declined through time, but it's also true that people here just woukd have complained anyway (either "whoaa that was unexpected what a shit" or "whoaa that was obvious what a shit")
just face it, it's just as much of a joke as onions wars, if not worse
>trusting jews
your first mistake.
good shit i hope there is more salt to come.
>>implying you saw it coming
>literally as soon as the red woman walked in and looked at her you knew what was going to happen
>they then later hammer the point home EXTREMELY hard with ''hurrr you shut the blue eyes''
my god
why are people so shocked? i remember the bitch fits over previous seasons being shit too they are the biggest hacks going.
make a time machine like in endgame to undo arya killing the night king
make the rest of the episodes be about the NK and white walkers fucking shit up
are we seriously getting 3 more episodes of just cersei's army vs the rest?
Holy fuck shut the fuck up and kill yourself with your goddamn reddit spacing. Take your head out of your ass you fucking retarded faggot.
So why aren't there other faceless men tryong to kill Arya ?
Look at that hack
Why don't the faceless men rule the world if even a complete amateur of their order can effortlessly take down the most powerful evil magic creature in the world that threatens to kill all life on the planet.
Rian'd, lel.
Stannis returns alive and well and kills everyone.
>HOLY FUCKING SHIT who didnt see this coming from 9000 miles away?
I really didn't see it coming because it was so fucking stupid.
Subverting expectations=/=making up nonsensical bullshit that feels out of pace, illogical and forced.
Even if you are going for subversion, you still need to come up with meaning why you're doing it. These hack kikes know fuck all about meaning.
t. Doesn't get why the first seasons were good
Season 1-4 had some really good moments that made me doubt myself a lot about this show and I liked it, I thought it was good back then. I thought Arya was the one who was gonna kill NK when she was so anal about her dragon glass spear, but seeing the show about to reach its end and characters being more expendable I thought, maybe, the show could surprise me again. I'm a little bit surprised that I was right, but last-minute rescue has been a common theme after season 4 and I fucking hate it.
I saw it coming as soon as Arya vanished from the entire episode after Melisandre asked her Syrio Forel's question.
It's true. All of it.
>HOLY FUCKING SHIT who didnt see this coming from 9000 miles away?
Not me, it actually subverted my expectations. it somehow was shittier than I ever imagined. I thought there would be some last minute asspull dragon save and they would retreat, or Jon Snu would pull off the blandest victory of all time, I even considered the possibility of Bran himself pulling some kind of gay asspull at the last minute that required him warging inexplicably for half the episode. I never once considered that Arya would move like a Naruto character past 30 white walker mini-bosses and kill him with a fucking video game move. even after all the years of watching this show, I underestimated the retardation of the writers.
Truly, and unironically, Bravo DnD.
The Lord of Light brought him back 20 times for what? Nothing. What's the point?
please, this shit is over. he's not going to finish the books and this will never get adapted again. also is't there a prequel series in the works? grrm doesn't give a shit about it anymore.
lol the fat fuck has retired
He got paid and doesn't give a shit
The deaths in s01-s04 were shocking, however all of them were foreshadowed by the mistakes those characters made.
>Rob marrying a random whore because he got horny instead of keeping his word to Valder Frey, also antagonizing his allies
>Tywin humiliating Tyrion up to the point of him snapping and murdering him in retaliation for a life of emotional abandonment, lovelessness and torture
to save a teleporting plot device and female power masturbation icon.
wait you watched an ep of a show first time with commentary? what the fuck?
How did Arya sneak past a circle of wights and White Walker LTs though?
No chance in hell GRRM is going to finish the books. Winds of Winter will come out posthumous stitched together by his fans, and Dreams of Spring will never ever be written. Enjoy the show book fans because this all you will get.
She had the Grey Fox camo equipped.
the series is suffering from full metal alchemist syndrome. Honestly i'm hoping we can get back to the politics now that the looming threat is dealt with.
>Doing it only for the shock value and subverted expectations
They have no idea what they're doing.
>mfw no Azor Ahai epic sowrd battle
What's the point of:
- The Stannis arch
- The lord of light and our milf Meli
- The fucking prophecy?
-
And the fact that without the dead dragon, how was the NK expecting to cross the wall? i assumed back in the day he was able to see the future, but sure he would have guessed arya's anime move all along so that shit is out of the question too.
It's extremely based that fat GRRM is never going to finish his shit book and the bullshit D&D come up with will be the canon ending to the series.
i wanna read the books but fuck wasting my time if he never finishes them. i'll start them if he finishes them
>Season 1 started with Ned being "the main character". Everyone though he was gonna be the main character, gonna solve all the problems. And what happens to him? He dies. He's not the main character. He never was. That's not that kind of story.
Shock value fags will never understand the books. Ned was never the main character, his death served a purpose, his character had his arc and was subsequently killed. He was always meant to be the catalyst, the one who so to speak "started" the story. Without his death there is no story. His death was also logical and happened because of his characteristics as a person - mainly his unwavering honesty and sense of honor to the point of stubborness which costed him his life. What logic or purpose does Arya killing the Night King serve besides simple shock value that the show basically relies on for 4 season now?
Arya killing the NK was GRRMs idea
Robb's marriage in the books was way better and made sense given his age and personality. He pulled a Ned and honor compelled him to do something fucking stupid that cost him the North and his house. The marriage only became about love after they fucked and he felt guilty for busting her maidenhead.
same
It was even dumber than I expected which is truly a feat to accomplish.
It's to the point where even he's wondering if he'll live that long.
The thing is George is a very readable author. I'd suggest his one-off novels, Dying of the Light, Fevre Dream, or The Armageddon Rag.
He also edits and co-writes this huge shared universe novel series called Wild Cards. When I say huge I mean it; it collectively has 27 novels, and probably hundreds of short stories, from over 40 authors overall. Haven't started it yet, but since it seems to be more about individuals than a single overarching narrative, I don't think it's a straight series.
You retarded? Nothing that comes out of the show anymore is GRRM's idea. If you've watched the after episodes explanations, you'd understand that practically everything comes out from the minds of the two jews that run the show.
Very much this.
I was a hard Stannisfag specifically because it was the only house with real actors.
Sandor Clegane's actor also did his best with the rubble.
kek
Nothing. At this point they should just keep digging.
S4 was shit
youtu.be
What a bunch of monkeys
how will he ever recover bros?
it was pretty obvious when melly suddenly looked at her "AND BLUE EYES"
OH NO NO NO NO NO NO BOOK FAGS
>make movie with people playing poker
>but there is a bomb under the table (that no player knows about at the start)
>poker and banter are interesting BUT THERE IS A BOMB WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO
>Bomb gets quickly disabled 20 minutes before the end
>you have to watch them finish their poker game for 20 minutes
great writing D&D
And now the dialogue is:
>Finger in the bum
>Someone taller
>Men are easily manipulated xD
It's reaching capeshit level of quips.
I actually watched it after reading all the spoilers here. It made me even more cringed of how utter garbage this episode was. Don't watch it, save yourself.
Based
I knew what was gonna happen only thanks to spoilers, but just because I'm surprised doesn't mean it was actually good.
A giant purple dinosaur could stampede out the forest and explosively shit all over the NK, drowning him in a giant pile of shit, and that would surprise me. But it would feel out of place.
ahh, the dialog is so goood

lol show has been going down hill since season 5. anyone who didnt see this coming since season 6 is pic related.
no one cares about starawas anyway, it's shit franchise and it's way worse than the capeshit too
arya kills the night king?
im actually glad my wife left me. if she hadnt i'd still be forced into watching this show every week.
They should had NK pull out a gun from his asshole and shot himself when he got to bran. Noone would see that coming and it would still make more sense
We expected something different.
That's 200 Iq level genius
>i'd still be forced into watching this show every week
My gf forced me into the show too. Broke up eith her and stopped watching when dirt snakes killed wheelchair guy
more
based.
GoT really is a show for women. I've heard people say that shows like GoT and Walking Dead are often watched by men but rarely if ever watched by single men. Seems true desu.
This would only make sense if Hot Pie was a stronk female. Maybe if he's been gone getting a sex change.
If only...
Haha his friend is literally me, except I'm not stupid enough to still be watching this garbage.
>liking dumb boring apocalypse zombie army over deep strategic faction bickering kino
Even if the execution wasnt perfect, this makes the last few episodes much more interesting
absolute kino. bravo
Lol kys if you think s4 was kino
cant believe bait this low effort got so many dumb nigger bitch spics
Remember when it mattered that the NK took a dragon and it came to bite them in the ass? Yeah, me neither.
>this makes the last few episodes much more interesting
but D&D have no idea how to write strategic faction bickering. With teleporting armies, people changing allegiances for the dumbest of reasons and motivations just being forgotten about.
I wasn't expecting it, but that doesn't make it good either. D&D just stopped giving a shit about the show a long time ago. They built up this conflict for nearly a decade just to have the main antagonist of the show deus ex'd by Ayra of all fucking people. It just goes to show how ridiculous untalented they are as showrunners. Like what was the point of having literally the last two season finales be about Jon, only for him to end up ultimately being a side character in the battle.
To be a total chad.
He got stabbed the fuck out of and still almost beat the hound and arya to the door.
this guy wrote the great film called TROY, let that sink in. and he LITERALLY wrote the "girl teleports behind you and stabs your immortal icey highness" scene. lel.
WHERE THE FUCK WAS LORD ROYCE THIS WHOLE EPISODE
He also wrote X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
I felt certain we'd see him die. Such an easy non-character to make us feel like *something* is happening.
Troy is fucking garbage.
based retard
>all these comments about the episode being crap
Here we go.
just watched this silly episode
This interview made me realize how good competent writers/show runners are. Not good writers, just competent. D&D are quite literally retards. "Themes are for eighth-grade book reports”- David Benioff. It’s mind boggling that they were given the responsibility to adapt this series. It was fine when they could rip off the books and didn’t require any thought but damn
If they have known for "3 years" that Arya would kill the Night King, that means the whole "blue eyes" shit that Red Lady talked about in Season 2 or whatever was simply a throwaway line that these fucking frauds decided to retroactively mean the fucking Night King.to trick the viewers into thinking it was planned from the beginning.
And it fucking worked, all the normies are eating this shit up and praising it as the greatest writing ever to air on TV.
UHHGGGGH YESSSSSS MY EXPECTATIONS WERE SO SUBVERTED HNNGGGG GIVE IT TO ME
The gravy train is FUCKING OVER for GRRM
He realizes this is going to end badly.
He's now pushing the boundaries of his NDA now that it is so close to completion:

I AGREE
there is NO WAY IN HELL he will finish ADOS before death, it will have to be compiled by a third party hired by his foundation.
TWOW will be released.
There is no denying it now, this season is going to end terribly.
It's either going to be:
A: Save his legacy and be the next Tolkien he always wanted to be
or
B: Fade to irrelevancy
They've never fucked up a battle sequence like this before, and for one so fucking pivotal...
Reminder that the books will never be finished because GRR is sitting on a pile of money to pay for insulin the rest of his life and that the show will be the only ending.
Troy wasn't good, t b h. The fight scenes were absolutely amazing, but that's just about it. Plus, like GOT in the first few seasons, he had everything written already - the Illiad.
He'll finish TWOW.
He'll never make it to ADOS.
It will get compiled and released after his death
I didn't see it coming because there was no fucking logical reason for anyone to be there. Where the fuck did she jump from? Night king was surrounded by his white walkers, and thousands of zombies. There was literally no logical reason for arya to jump on him, not a single fucking one
Fuck jews and fuck d&d
D&D just fucking admitted that they, as in THEY, had been planning for Arya to kill NK for 3 YEARS.
GRRM is pushing the boundaries of his NDA and is disavowing the ending:

Oh man... I said this was going to be one of those things where a lot of people recognized how awful it was initially, but it wasn't going to be until later when people had time to really think about it that it was going to be apparent just how unbelievably awful it was.
Ned dying wasn’t ‘unexoected’ All the characters are written and let loose into the world. Ned was an honourable guy who didn’t realize nobody else is, and Joffrey was flexing power like a 14 y.o would do.
It’s unexpected only because you’d expect the main character to live. But this Arya crap is completely different. There’s no actual plot that makes it interesting for her to kill Nk.
it's funny that americlaps get an after-episode explanations from creators directly to understand what happened. Or is it just for women watching alone and having to one to ask what happens?
People trying to compare Ned's death to the Night King's death are missing the point. Both were subversions, yes, but one (Ned) is subversion for the sake of realism while the other is subversion for the sake of subversion (Night King).
Ned was too honorable to live in a society rotten by corruption and conspiracy, it played on viewers / readers' expectations, due to too much exposure to safe three act stories, that the hero is untouchable. It kickstarted character development for pretty much all characters related to Ned.
Night King's death was literally just to say "didn't expect that, did you? ;)". It ignored how the plot was supposed to naturally progress and it was poorly executed. That battle wasn't supposed to surprise, it was supposed to be the consequence of the characters' actions up to that point, who would live and die according to their past decisions, smart plans and preparation, not without sacrifice.
why do women always ask what's happening, it pisses me off
>arya kills NK
>no epic duel between Jon and NK
>we will never know the NK's true intentions, only through Bran's asinine ramblings that wont even give a full picture
THANKS DABID
nice
dunno, most of them cant follow any instructions or plot
>>we will never know the NK's true intentions
this shit is the worst, it will never be explained now
night king got snoked
