did arya get catapulted across winterfell?
that is my only explanation as to why A SQUAD OF FUCKING WHITE WALKERS DIDNT STOP HER OR AT LEAST WARN THEIR KING THAT A TINY GIRL THAT A FEW MINUTES AGO STRUGGLED WITH SKELETONS IS COMING
Did arya get catapulted across winterfell?
She pretended to be a zombie then whooshed passed the white walkers
is hollywood using media to intentionally make everyone angry?
this but unironically, she shapeshifted to move undetected thanks to her training with the faceless men
Well they were a focused on Bran i guess.
She has that ninja stealthmode also, the drops of blood made more noise than she moving around
WHERE THE FUCK DID SHE COME FROM. WHY DID NONE OF THE WIGHTS OR WHITE WALKERS STOP HER. HOW THE FUCKED DID SHE HAVE THE SPEED TO JUMP UP BEHIND HIM. WHERE'S WOLF. WHY DID THE WHOLE LIVING ARMY DIE EXCEPT THE MAIN CHACTERS? WHY DID THE GIANT NOT KILL LYNNA? WHAT WERE THE WIGHTS DOING IN THE GREAT HALL FOR TWENTY MINUTES WITH THE HOUND AND THE RED PREIST? WHY DID THE MAIN CHARACTERS GET PILED ON BUT NOT KILLED? WHY DID EVERYONE IN THE CRYPT LIVE FOR TEN MINUTES? WHY DID BRAN JUST WATCH THE BATTLE? WHY DID THEON CHARGE INTO THE NIGHT KING? WHY WAS THIS EPISODE MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
The hound yeeted her over a bunch of zombies
Bran should have killed the NK with a hidden dragon-bolt crossbow. The whole "bait" plot was fucked, but it would have been a much better alternative to what happened with Arya.
It would have made much more sense because:
1.) The character had been reduced to a character that physically incapable of anything. It would have been genuinely surprising to see him shoot a bolt from his cloak as the NK approached. I think we, as the audience, may have forgotten that Bran has perfectly functioning arms, and it was be a satisfying reminder of his physicality. Even the NK would have underestimated this.
2.) In the previous episode, Bran & Tyrion had a big long talk. After their talk, Tyrion is more optimistic. It was rumored that they must have came up with a secret plot. Perhaps Tyrion and Bran discussed Tyrion's murder of his father, and explored the idea of arming Bran with a dragon-glass tipped bolt. This would have been just as much of a call-back to previous events - even more significantly so.
3.) Was Arya part of the plan all along? The original Bran "bait" plan had no actual plan to kill the NK - what the fuck were they supposed to do when he inevitably showed up. A hidden crossbow would have been much more realistically premeditated.
Instead what we got was:
Arya coming out of nowhere. One of the biggest reason this pisses me off is because it was established in the middle of the episode that she had to be very, very careful and quiet not to get noticed by the wights. The question on everyone's mind is: "Where the fuck did she just come from?".
What would you have done to end the episode, considering it had to have the same outcome?
Imagine being this triggered about a tv show
The library was a decent stealth scene, the in-episode foreshadowing was there.
The undead tended to focus on one thing at a time
Why did she drop her disguise and go flying in? If she can sneak past them why not get close enough to actually hit instead of dropping the look and jumping off a trampoline? Why the hell was she screaming for a sneak attack? Why didn't the other white walkers care that she was running at the NK after she dropped the face? Why is the NK of all creatures a shit fighter that couldn't react to her dropping the dagger?
Why did she change back then while flying through the air? Why did they not show any hint of her becoming someone else then?
it wasnt just dumb undead there though, the white walkers are clearly a lot more intelligent
Right before she jumps there's a cut that shows one of the walkers turning his face a bit. I don't know if that's supposed to be Arya in disguise, or he noticed Arya
What about the fucking NK who can find people in the dark of night miles away? How did he all for that sneak attack? Plus falling for the fucking Rey move of dropping the knife slowly? WTF
You know, this feels thematically weird. Faceless Men don't really do ninja stuff. But I guess we epic fantasy now.
she did the shneaky thing, it's her home, she knows the turf, why you mad?
she ran past them all so fast they barely noticed her doing it, bravo dabid.
>AHHH!! ARYA SAVE ME!
>Faceless Men don't really do ninja stuff
yeah, except for the whole blending into the environment to strike when least expected thing
Pretty sure she teleported behind them.
>literal assassin cult that employs magick so their members can disguise as anyone, down to their voices and mannerism
>members literally employ magic to shapeshift
>"OMG WHERE DID SHE COME FROM HURRR WHY IS THIS SHOW SO FREAKIN' UNREALISTIC HURRRR GAMERS RISE UP MUH FEMINISM"
RAVIOLI RAVIOLI I LOVE VAGIOLI
Why did the night king even have to be there in the first place? Is there a rule that only he can kill Bran? Why not go the Sauron route and stay in a fortress letting his army do the work? Is there any reason for this besides "no way for heroes to win then"?
When have they ever actually done that? Their whole thing is making their assassinations look like accidents.
On the bright side, we know the novels won't end this way: Sauron attacks Westeros early, and one of Dany's suitors is VOLCANO VIKING MAN. In Winds of Winter, we see that Arya has embraced the Faceless lifestyle.
>this is a new copypasta
Can we just have one or two threads about this show you all claim to be shit? I've seen hundreds already
A cliche climatic sword fight between him and Jon would have been more satisfying than that deus ex bullshit. Anything would have been better. Fucking hodor running in stark naked and body slamming the night king would have been better.
>tricks zombies into thinking she's a zombie
>tricks the NK into thinking she is one of them when he clearly has direct control over every undead
>seriously thinking the NK or one of his generals wouldnt have noticed when he could easily hear jon sneaking up from 30+ feet away
Shut the fuck up.
I was genuinely looking forward to the sword-fight.
>no indication of this happening
>no indication of this happening
>they did notice, one of the WW did look back as she was approaching
>
She is so ugly that white walkers considered her a part of the undead armies.
