Be honest. The actual episode was a fucking masterpiece up to that point. The use of the winter storm to obscure the battlefield was a clever move to avoid the unnecessary use of too much CGI battle that would have ruined the immersion. The build up the entire episode was so fucking intense, they had you genuinely ready to believe every single character was actually going to die. Everything was going perfectly this episode until *teleports behind you* happened.

The problem was Arya had no connection to the NK storyline whatsoever, but most importantly how it was handled. If she had stolen a white walker's face and used it to sneak up and kill the NK there would have been far less bitching.
