Why didn´t he kill all the Avengers??
Why didn´t he kill all the Avengers??
Thanos and the stones were severely nerfed in the movies. Not to mention Avengers had huge plot armor (Ironman's shield protecting him from Thanos blasts, Thanos not using the reality stone in an offensive deadly way, Thor's axe overpowering reality, time, space, all the stones at once, etc.)
Because that wouldnt keep the avengers perfectly balanced
Because he was benevolent and was better keeping the people who could fuck your plans alive
Why didn't he just delete society?
Thanos does not even need to kill them, he could have just taken their arms and legs.
And to top it of he could make them shit from mouth just for fun.
Why didnt let people kill themselves until the equilibrium was restored??
Why didn't he just mind his own fucking business and grow crops?
What about his tax policy?
inb4 Tom Holland is handsome
Can't even eat without crops.
Not enough land available. He would have to destroy the rainforest
he's a kid who just burned half of an anthill, why would he bother killing the strongest ants
>why would he bother killing the strongest ants
Because literally would make no difference for someone who has already killed half of humanity killing the only ones with any chances of fucking his plan??
Because capeshit doesnt make sense.
When a DC cartoon episode handled it better than a multi-million dollar franchise.
Frankly, if it were me, I'd turn it into Avenger vs Avenger twist.
>movie starts with stark getting rescued
>five years timeskip
>First half of the movie is about heroes coming together to get revenge and closure after Stark managed to track down Thanos using technobable bs.
>party forced to split up after local wildlife/environmental hazard blew up their ship or something
>Alone, Hawkeye encounters Thanos.
>After a brief big purple vs one puny human beatdown, Thanos invites the Hawkeye to dinner
>Explains that he overestimated the gem's resilience and that they were nearly destroyed halving the universe
>Any attempts the repeat anything on that scale again would result in the universe's destruction
>realizing that the universe's growth and culling cycle cannot be repeated, his goals are ultimately futile
>ultimately its best to undo the suffering he have caused
>plans to dust his past self the moment before the snap. By recharging the timegem using a macguffin
>rest of the avenger crew arrives
>after a brief fight, everyone settles down as Hawkeye explains big purple's plan
>Thor goes apeshit and plans to kill Thanos anyway.
>Tony sides with him since that plan would permanently erase his daughter from the timeline.
>rest of the movie is the remaining avengers + big purple's quest to retrieve macguffin with Thor and Tony, along with everyone else after them.
Hd figured the survivors would come to appreciate actions. He was mad, but ultimately benevolent in intent.
He did not consider that time travel might be possible without the time stone
Benevolent eggplant
keg
It could be interesting, but there's no way it would live up to being a sequel to IW, and as a sending off for the original Avengers.
>WE NEED TO GO WHERE ALL THE STONES ARE IN ONE PLACE
Why not go to right before Starlord boned the entire universe and knck him unconscious.
Because then they would have to steal the stones from the avengers and thanos.
His "sons" too
People compare this guy with Darkseid and spiderman is able to "hurt" him...
>imagine rooting for the losers
DC also known as discount Marvel or Pepsi to Coke, Snyder to Nolan and literally the inferior one
Doctor Strange seemingly knew all this shit would happen anyway.
When he was fighting Captain Marvel, why didn't Thanos pluck out the Space Stone, port himself to some other place, and then place the Space Stone back and snap everyone?
Well the reason is the reality that doctor strange observed where they did that they lost.
Why didn't Captain Marvel who was holding the gauntlet not use the stones instead of killing Tony?
Why didn't he just gave a girlfriend to everybody?
Drink battery acid
where did they find a fucking pegasus?
what happened to the past thor if future thor stole his hammer?
how did thor turn into a fatass fornite addict?
how did they managed to fuck up this movie so badly?
Hey, Cpt. Marvel, we have this time travel idea, can you go get the stones for us, please?
BRAVO
From the Pegasus planet, obviously
Past Thor went to big Dinklage's fully operational forge and got a new weapon
Depression
dude time travel yeey waaw what a great way to end a series, just fuck everything up and leave turbo nerds arguing adinfinitum about plot holes bravo mouse, bravo
It's explained in the comic (I know, I know). Subconsciously he always wanted to lose.
Because she's stupid and a cunt. Even if she was smart enough to think of it, it's not in her character to admit she needs more power
>he didnt understand how time travel work
Cap just returned it in time just after future thor takes it away. In Thor's POV the hammer just only gone about 0.1 second
>He did not consider that time travel might be possible without the time stone
You are speculating
And
Doesn´t matter
Nigga already have killed billions of people and half of the heroes.
Could have killed all to avoid any chance of his goal be arruined.
He just needed a fucking snap
who fixed the shield then?
>Subconsciously he always wanted to lose.
how do capeshitters defend this?
It wasn't broken in 1944, dummy
Ignore him, MCU thanos is almost nothing like comic thanos, who wanted to kill half the universe in order to impress the incarnation of Death, who he was in love with.
there wasn't any shield in 1944
MCU Thanos sounds better desu
I'm not disputing that at all, comics are almost entirely dogshit.
That sounds so retarded.
The only thing you got right was letting there be inter-party conflict as Tony realizes he'll never have his daughter if they save the rest of the universe.
it's already been established he can't use the stones to just make more resources.
this
Did thanos have OCD?
The only issue I have is that they really should of gone the comic route, Nebula should of got the gauntlet and went ham with it, in truth though normies wouldn't be able to grasp the complexity of the story if we involved Warlock and the tribunals/etc.
In MCU there was.
where was this stated
heywasshup its me ray whats up im uh posting here on another marvel thread to say ummmmmmmmmm avengers was ok and i mean people kind of get too into it but its so cool cool to see people gayther around someting and just enjoy it even if u didnt even enojy that much ok thank u i loe you guys thank you

Wow what an argument, the Infinity Gauntlet comic is awesome and they already took a bunch from it, there's nothing wrong with taking more from it.
caused he was living in one
