Big thing right away for me was the fixation on the outer reaches of the society.
The first scene was perfect and enough but they had to keep going back to the ruined areas.
The entire orphanage scene could be deleted.
It was simply there to showcase the villians power level.

Normies and woman like simple and shallow stories with hamfisted emotional weight at the specific points of a a conventional movie structure, Blade Runner is carried only by its subtext with barely a story embedded into it which is far more visceral and fulfilling as a film imho.
