Lets get serious, where would you rank Endgame?
I understand the film being longer than needed/having extra scenens because it concludes the Inifinity Saga, but I felt the film is mediocre overall.
Looking at this film purely alone, where would you place it?
I would put it somewhere around the bottom 10 Marvel flick
Below Civil War and Ironman 1.

Too much fan service and way too much deus ex machina moments. Nice ending to an incredible run before the whole thing turns to shit under the feminist. But it was nowhere near as good as Infinity War

Well then I don't know who the characters are, the ending third of the movie is pure pointless spectacle, and nothing makes sense (like why does a Racoon talk and why did they enlist some fat dude named "Thor"). And the little character development present is nonsensical at best. Worst film.

As a pretty liberal femanon, I liked how MCU set up strong/smart female characters like the Wakandan cast/Potts/Scarlet Wtich but I felt Captain Marvel was just way too over the top.

When the alien warship was firing at the Avengers, I was expecting something clever, maybe a sacrifice by the Marvel crew
But what happens? Carol Danvers flies in from the sky and just flies through the battleship

7/10, 8 at the most to be honest. I don't know why people got emotional over the movie. I knew they were going because their contracts were up and maybe why the scenes had no impact on me. This is probably my last MCU film. Felt like finishing Bleach and Naruto, it was more a surreal and exhausting experience but I'm glad they had a decent send off for those characters.

Kind of weak. Didn't live up to part 1. Got less interesting as it went on.
Why was the Time Stone glowing when Dr. Strange handed it to Thanos? Was it in use during EndGame??
As a standalone movie it's pretty terrible. You'll have no idea what's going on or who any of these people are.
If you've seen all the MCU movies and have been following them for years, Endgame is a dream come true, with some of my favourite moments in cinema. 8/10 because of Captain Marvel and a couple jokes that drag on for way too long.
