Danny spends most of the episode having an internal conflict over what happens and ends up sacrificing herself to delay the Night King allowing the others to escape towards Kings Landing.

The sole surviving Dragon flies off somewhere forcing Jon Snow to try and convince everyone to follow under him without the obvious fact that he is Aegon Targaryen, the rightful heir.

They arrive at Kings Landing and they are outnumbered by Cersei's army, which actually has managed to obtain one Elephant at this point thanks to Euron.

Jon thinks they are fucked, but gives a heroic speech anyway. Suddenly the other Dragon appears and Jon rides it into battle - Cersei's army break apart and she begins prep to 'burn them all' with the Wildfire beneath the city.
