It fits her personality to be like that because she's very temperamental and has no tolerance for weakness and stupidity (just like her father Thanos).

Because of this she makes an assumption about Scott because Scott seems naive and out of his league at first sight. Even Hulk throws shade at Scott because that's simply how it is when you're the new guy in a group of old friends and colleagues.

Some people are simply more vocal about their first impressions of new people because they want to see where they fit in.
