I also think Kreese was maybe faking being homeless for sympathy points. If we're going to see Silver (and Barnes) in later seasons, it doesn't make sense that he'd leave Kreese to be poor and then come back to get revenge on Daniel.

I think you're right in a way, but it works best that they took the time to build Kreese back up to full power before having a danny/Johnny team up season to take him down. Them beating a weak Kreese misses out on some potentially sweet scenes where his students are terrorizing the valley with leg sweeps and out-of-commission-tier moves.

Rocksteady is relevant because he’s a key character to the cobras the defected to miyagi-do. He also had some character development and is an important part of dimitri’s character development. He was basically the main guy that did all the talking when the cobra defectors came to Miyagi-do. Aisha is relevant because she’s literally the second fucking person to join Cobra Kai and is one of the top three members with as much character development as hawk. When Johnny wanted to teach hawk and Miguel a lesson at the beginning of season 2, he went directly to her because she gets Cobra Kai philosophy and what Johnny is teaching better than most people. She’s also an important catalyst to a lot of the story arcs. For instance, it was her idea to crash the beach party. She was the one texting sam that led to her parents finding out that sam had gotten drunk at the party and some more shit.

It is not really a question of age. Some places in the world are locked in time. I practically lived in the 80's, no internet, computers or any modern technollogy. I am from a small city in the countryside of a third world country. I had many problems with bullying because i was poor in a school of rich kids. In my place, stupid rich kids go to private schools and do whatever they please. My entire time in this school from 2001 to 2010 were full of fights every year. I started karate at 8 years old, and stopped at 10. But the muscular memory saved my ass in 2009, the most violent year, when i not kidding, must fought almost every week. I returned at 15 and since then have been working to get better at it. The experience in fighting mad me very paranoic and i see the new students have no real life experience. I can easily juggle a teenager at my height and same belt now at 24 years old. They only know how to score points. Their are too confident in their own skills, but they don't know how to act when under pressure. Thats what is the proble with traditional martial arts and why they lose in so many challenges with MMA and BJJ.
