It's the scariest movie I've seen, and I've seen many horror movies.
why? why makes it the scariest movie you ever seen
As every movie has good things and bad things, but in general it's good, go see user
it's reddit

I like TV Documentaries, but you know that the ones that involve the paranormal are mostly bullshit, so it's kind of cool to see a movie where it actually is "real" and it's the most authentic in the mockumentary genre there are some other creepy moments in the movie. There are other scenes that aren't as creepy as that one scene, but it has moments.
it's a slow roll. it's not going to make you jump like you did when you saw Blair Witch project for the first time but you'll slowly get more and more disturbed until you're quite scared by the end.
It's a movie that scares people who aren't normally scared by horror movies.
It's basically a classic/Victorian English ghost story but set in the modern day.
horror movies dont scare me, but it follows had me going
haven't seen this one though
Yeah i was watching i and thought it was overrated and boring then that scene happened
4 months after i still cant sleep thinking about it
very sad story poor girl dreaming being dead it was so sad when she say she screamed at her parents but then she realized they couldn't help her anymore and she felt so alone
yes, it's thjat scary
The entire movie builds up to that scene, it wouldn't be nearly effective if you just watched it without the context
daaaamn. It is worth seeing the movie if I already watch THAT scene
i got scared
What's "that scene" I keep hearing so much about?
first result on youtube
Don't watch it. Watch the entire movie, it's good
Leave this thread and go watch the movie
One of the worst piece of shit """"""movies"""""" Yea Forums memed me into watching
this movie is a good sleep aid. that's about it.
>Sixteen-year-old Alice Palmer drowns while swimming with her family at a dam in Ararat, Australia. Following the tragedy, her teenaged brother Matthew sets up video cameras around the house to record what seem to be images of Alice's ghost appearing in the family home. It's discovered that Matthew was actually setting up the "sightings" of his dead sister to give the family reason to exhume her body and give his mother closure. However, upon closer review, one of the hoax videos captures Alice's bedroom being searched by Brett, a neighbor for whom she had worked as a babysitter. After her own search of the bedroom, Alice's mother finds a hidden videotape showing Alice in a sexual encounter with Brett and his wife.
Yeeeah, that's gonna be a pass. Stupid slut had it coming.
retard
I'm not going to watch either the scene or the movie, but I'm curious what the gimmick is that makes it so scary.
The film maintains an element, both tonally and visually, of realism the entire time. The worst you get prior to that scene are low-res zoom ins of supposed ghosts. The film takes one moment to go outside the confines of its tone and showcase a video (low-res) of a figure that resembles the girl's corpse approaching the girl. So essentially the film tries to be as digestible as possible and then uses one break from that to leave a lasting spook.
Scene in question (would recommend not watching before seeing the film): youtube.com
I watched this movie based solely on a recommendation knowing nothing about it
watched it home alone one night, with the lights off and I was terrified
What's great about it is that it's a relatively simple but tried and true concept, explored many times by authors like Dickens, Poe and a whole host of others.
yes, its the scariest movie you i ever seen, I personally was very scary with all the mockumentary thing that looks very real, the weird time travel/ghost/whatever things and all the things happening in the backgrounds. THE scene is socking and kinda have a feeling of relatable, that can happen really to you that it why is so scary.
