Arguably a better Venom movie than the one we got.

>Ryan Reynolds
Pass

Fucking great movie, 10/10 ending

he's the first or 2nd to die 30 minutes in

fucking awful. watch redlettermedia's opinion on it to know my opinion. Except I hated it even more than those did

I found the end of that movie very disappointing, but thought it was awesome that they killed off Ryan Reynolds lol. He's a good actor, it's just nice to see when Hollywood kills off such a star in a movie

Yeah, I loved it. Most movies with mainstream aspirations wouldn't go for that sort of ending

was a solid 7/10 flick

It's just a worse Alien.

>I found the end of that movie very disappointing
How? Please use spoilers like a good citizen

Eh, it's a 6/10.

>names directly above an image of the actors
>names aren't in the same order as the actors
why do poster designers do this
I hate it

someone else triggered that they don't put the name correctly above their heads?

Because you read left to right but see images front and center first.

good try to fool the alien lifeform
lifeform sees through the plan and reaches earth
a chinese fisher lets the alien out of the escape pod
mankind is doomed

I gotta agree with RLM that it was a bit disappointing that the alien just sort of... got big, and for how 'dumb' it was up to that point, the very end of the movie implies a much more intelligent creature than what we actually got.

Now for some kino under the big box office radar at least: Annihilation. The ending 'twist' in the last few seconds was a bit forced though.

if I read the names, I look at the faces in the same way
it happens to me every time

I don't see the problem. What's wrong with an unhappy ending?

yep

>made it on the poster
>be the first to die
What did they mean by this?
Similarly, James Franco was also killed early in Alien Covenant, burning in a cryochamber alive after a forceful wake up.
His was even worse as his only talking lines were from a video footage.

>first Battleship
>now Life
What's next, Risk?

I'm a simple man, I see Reynolds as lead ,filming location space. I skip it

>saying nothing about your opinion while also shilling youtubers
Nerds really are the perfect consumer

It was pretty good, I liked it. Nothing much else to say.

Is this a fucking joke? With that half-hearted mislead? Go fuck yourself. Everyone in this movie was a goddamn retard. I can't imagine anyone with at least half a brain thinking this movie was any better than a 5/10.

If you paid attention, you could tell the alien was intelligent the entire time. The entire movie was the result of miscommunication, of the impossibility of communicating with a totally alien lifeform.

Everything was fine until the first mistake: alien loses the things it needs to live. It was thriving, and then it lost its food and atmosphere in the malfunction. A reasonable person could perhaps assume it was a mistake or malfunction, but then black doctor shocked it to revive it, confirming the alien's suspicions that it was being mistreated or attacked even though this was not the case. From that point on, it was a never-ending escalation of force. It breaks his hand, Ryan Reynolds tries to flammerwerf it, it eats his organs, they try to trap it, so on so forth. Everything each party does is only confirmation to the other party that it is a hostile situation.

Movie was not THAT bad, but fedorafags get triggered easily by "muh scientific inaccuracies" in a fucking flick, so they feel the need to shit on it

"Scientific inaccuracies" are not the problem. Stuff like Ryan Reynolds rushing into a place with an escaped alien life form were the problems. I can't remember any other specifics from the movie, but it seemed like every 10 minutes the crew did exactly the dumbest thing possible.

Really this. It was a solid and entertaining movie, but only worth seeing once.

Because I think it works on top billing. It went Jake, Rebecca and Reynolds. So obviously Jake has to take the center when it comes to the picture but be the first name when it comes to the billing. So it creates a situation in which the names don’t match where the faces are.
