Why do people pretend that Black Panther was the first black superhero movie, when blade exists and it 10 times better?
Why do people pretend that Black Panther was the first black superhero movie, when blade exists and it 10 times better?
*ahem*
NO HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!
blade wasn't made at time where it was popular to be woke
True, but people flat out pretend they it doesn't exist
Best black superhero movie coming through
Shaq played Steel back before Blade
What about Spawn
Blade isn’t a real pure black he has wypipo blood in him
It wasn't a Marvel/Disney movie and therefore doesn't count. They did the same thing with pretending Captain Marvel was making a big feminist statement by having a female lead, when Wonder Woman came out like two years ago.
I loved this stupid movie when I was younger.
>Originally I was called Supervolt but Aquaman was like, "You should be Black Lightning" and I was like "Well why don't we call you WHITE FISH?"
Real Wakanda Warrior reporting in
I still do.
>Forgetting about Blank Man.
Because black people were just happy they were allowed to vote back then.
Are you kidding? Blade was literally the first Marvel Studios film ever planned, and though it was eventually handed to New Line, its success is the reason why Marvel continued to license characters for film
well of blacksploitation characters count I nominated Dolemite
blade is half black, half vampire so he doesn't count
black people don't vote
