Extremely low IQ take. Dexter seasons 1, 2, and 4 were shlocky but good fun. Everything after that and especially the last season were on another level of dogshit. It was actually impressive how bad the show got

The whole "Harry's code" shit was stupid and the show kept trying to put morality into what Dexter was doing. Dexter was a killer and a sociopath.

Yvonne was the only good thing about the last two seasons.

those seasons were merely not as bad as the rest, but they are still full of terrible writing, garbage acting, flat characters, filler episodes, and terrible production value.

The best writers leave to be showrunners or producers elsewhere. Either that or the showrunner remains the same but inserts his head too far up his own ass. This isn't a problem unique to Dexter.

Dexter final scene was THE greatest final scene in tv history.

Pretty much everything after season 2-3 was trash but that final scene is unmatched.
