That's the only one I've seen from Craig's Bond, I actually enjoyed it, how are the rest?
It was not bad but I preferred Casino Royale.
Skyfall>Casino Royale>>>>>the other 2
yes, and? Casino roayale is pretty good too
I'm looking forward to qt french lesbian being killed in the first act of the next one
Spectre is more of a James Bond film than Skyfall.
Skyfall is good but overhyped.
I saw it after hearing all the praise and was slightly disappointed. I even think I like Spectre and Quantum better, wirh Casino being the best of the craig movies.
Was Spectre really total trash or is it worth a watch?
It kind of goes back to the less serious, cheesier roots of Bond films. It's a good entertaining film.
Based Roger Deakins
Based.
The middle act drags, but it's not a bad movie at all.
goldeneye peasants
for new England anons
>Watching a non-Connery Bond movie
The absolute state of this board...
I'm gonna have to agree, even though I don't know anyone IRL who feels this way.
>Home Alone: James Bond Edition
>Good
This.
Only time I liked Spectre was when I watched a fanedit.
I would do just fucking heinous things to that girl.
I even found her being emotionally traumatized from pretending to be a lesbian arousing.
From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, For Your Eyes Only, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and the Dalton Bonds say hello.
The villain is horrible. The Bond girl is not attractive. Didn't enjoy it overall.
I saw it. Wasn't very good. Preferred Casino.
>Dude Bond's past lmao
>Teleporting Technohacker with unlimited resources who brought down London suddenly can't even fuck with one dude in a busted ass mansion
>Knife to the back is an instakill
The last one especially is what gets on my nerves. Silva is already a shit character, despite Bardem's acting.
I wanted to see him win, though, and he should have in that scene. There's absolutely fuck all reason the knife wouldn't have caused him to pull the trigger.
And then she just dies anyway.
What a dumb ending to an overall shitty climax.
The early stuff was decent, focusing on Bond (and Craig) aging, but as soon as that retarded interview mentioning "Skyfall" and it suddenly becoming a character drama for Bond himself the entire film went to shit.
JAMES BOND IS NEVER MEANT TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER, HE'S NOT EVEN MEANT TO BE A CHARACTER.
Fuck Eon Productions and this dried up cunt at the forefront of it now. Absolutely no respect for Fleming or integrity for filmmaking. I'd be fucking embarrassed to be working on the 25th iteration after that garbage that was Spectre, and Danny Boyle being ousted for creative differences.
Well, I would be, if not for the $100,000,000 I imagine.
Broccoli can't die quick enough.
man theres a fanedit for everything
>For Your Eyes Only
>good
Deakins the silhouette God
Yeah. I only usually watch extended editions or edits for movies I found almost good.
Spectre, shitty as it was theatrically, didn't require a whole lot to make par. Crazy autistic bastard in the one I watched (Spectre Redacted) replaced the opening with a Bjork song and it worked better than that faggotty smith shit. The weirdness of Bjork actually fit the octopus theme.
I was about to ask why OP posted a shot from 2049.
I guess if you do your one trick good enough you oughta stick to it.
Silhouetting isn't hard, especially when you're using so many layers of color filtering. Try getting a silhouette in natural lighting.
i dont remember if this webm is the siloutte fight or not
Deakins does much more than silhouettes:
god if that's true then I'm glad I never saw any of the others
it was not
Spectre looked good but the story was poops
>>For Your Eyes Only
>>good
Not objectively good, but comfy
Craig looks uncomfortable wearing a midget's suit, and wears his tie as if he uses one only at those once-a-year "formal" events.
Skyfall is garbage
This is always so comical to look at. Gosling is a terrible actor
But that's not The Living Daylights
How are James Bond flicks any different than capeshit?
It's pretty good till the "it was me James" scene after that it goes what the fuck
Casino Royale is twice the action movie and thrice the actual movie of Skyfall.
Quantum is an interesting mess.
There less than one per year.
This but unironically
Cringe and blue-pilled
they're just as boring but they're less frequent
Casino Royale is excellent. On a technical level Skyfall is bigger and better but as far as being a well rounded movie, I'd rather watch CR any day
The doomsday devices are based on human tech
No it's damn good.
>It kind of goes back to the less serious, cheesier roots of Bond films
I heard this before watching for the first time and I never really felt such the entire film except when he conveniently fell on a couch.
CR also has the best non-striptease opening in the franchise.
youtube.com
CR >>> Skyfall >>> Spectre >>>>>>>> QoS
I didn't overly mind it but it's not up there as one of the best.
Pleb and retardpilled
Absolutely beautiful shots in this movie.
Liked this part too.
youtu.be
What really saddens me that Silva wasn't played by a previous Bond. Imagine seeing Connery or Brosnan in that role.
It's a nice car.
Nice trips. Sir Roger Deakins when?
>projecting
>being retarded
>Reminder that Skyfall is LITERALLY the best James Bond movie.
it is pretty bad man, you sure must be a pleb
>STILL projecting
???
It's a cool idea, but Connery is too old, and is actually retired. iirc they actually tried to cast him as the psychiatrist that does the word association test with Craig, but even that 1 minute role was enough for him to turn down.
Brosnan would have been cool, but he's pretty recognized by the mainstream as Bond himself, it probably would have just confused people
Even if it's overall terrible Bond films will always have good stunt action.
There's the henchman with a unique way of killing, more jokes and the action is very exaggerated compared to all of the other Craig bond films.
You obviously have capeshit on the brain and struggle to differentiate between different genres. You have the autism no doubt.
Yes For Your Eyes Only is good as fuck.
The opening is completely divorced from the rest of the film and can be ignored.
He considers the red button
nice trips. licence to kill isn't terrible I know.
>It was possibly the worst... At least Quantum of Solace had a kino ass opening
I used to have moments like this in highschool where I would go somewhere tall and peer out and pretend it had meaning.. Then I realized I was accomplishing nothing and wondered how much longer I had to stand up there to seem kewl
Skyfall is the best because it's literally about deconstructing the whole James Bond myth and making a movie about the movies. The villain is essentially a better done version of the 006/fallen angel type of meme. He's like a rip off the joker and the whole movie is kind of a rip off of TDK, which is neat.
It's literally about the character taking refuge in his legacy estate and fighting the previous version of himself and everything getting burned the fuck down and M dying and it kind of exists on it's own. Like TDK.
Quantum sucked because it was just extra bullshit fallout from Casino Royale that tried to too hard to double down on the muh grimdark depression porn tone. And then Spectre sucked because it was too focused on trying to do a Marvel thing or something and it was all over the fucking place. And Casino Royale was good but it was like the Batman Begins to Skyfall's TDK.
You misspelled Casino Royale
>Skyfall is the best because it's literally about deconstructing the whole James Bond myth
How much did you pay for that degree in literary citicism?
Skyfall was tryhard BS. No discernible plot, just a series of coincidences and plans-within-plans, like all modern action movies.
And turning Batman into some sort of wounded Bruce Wayne was pure cringe.
I've resigned myself to the fact that Casino Royale will be Craig's only good Bond movie.
There is no difference
Both are lowest common denominator trash but because you're a brainlet you think one is better than the other because its not as popular even though both are hugely commercially successful
*turning Bond into Bruce Wayne was pure cringe.
Film tried to make up for the lack of plot with wanna-be iconic imagery, just like Spectre.
Sam Mendes was the wrong guy to make these movies.
>I've resigned myself to the fact that Casino Royale will be Craig's only good Bond movie.
You've just got to believe.
It LITERALLY is. He goes to the Bond estate in scotland. The villain's face has LITERALLY been deconstructed. They LITERALLY deconstruct the estate. Don't need big brain grapes to see that shit.
Go and whine in the numerous capeshit threads and spare us.
Casino Royale = Bamman Begins
Skyfall = The Dark Knight
Bond 25 = Memes
Eva Green best bond girl
I made a big bowl of popcorn and now I'm going to watch Spectre
based
comfy
what is the plot? I know it has german oscar man but I don't remember what the scheme was.
>You've just got to believe.
In the licensed-to-kill manlet?
He didn't fly so good
Skyfall is definitely up there with the best.
How do movies like The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy compare to Skyfall and the later James Bond films?
Is this a generic anime opening?
i remember thinking it was really bad actually
Fuck no, it was a decent fun but it didn't feel like a Bond movie, I felt like I was watching a Nolan flick.
What the FUG
>Skyfall>Casino Royale
Pretty normal for a Bond opening.
I remember pausing the film and fapping to that
On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the true KINO
>muh silhouettes
dude filmmaking lmao haha xDDD
Official and undisputable ranking:
>GoldenEye
>Licence to Kill
>Diamonds are Forever
>Casino Royale
>Moonraker
>You Only Live Twice
>Dr. No
>The Man with the Golden Gun
>The World is not Enough
>Skyfall
>Goldfinger
>The Spy who Loved Me
>From Russia with Love
>Octopussy
>On Her Majesty's Secret Service
>Die Another Day
>Tomorrow Never Dies
>A View to a Kill
>The Living Daylights
>For Your Eyes Only
>Never Say Never Again
>Spectre
>Live and Let Die
>Thunderball
>Quantum of Solace
Bond 25 has Ana de Armas in it so I'm already pumped.
I feel like QoS isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I remember enjoying it enough to watch it more than once.
Haven't seen in probably 10 years so I need to rewatch it now that Spectre and Skyfall have come out
Skyfall is gorgeous but i felt the humour too forced in places, also too much fanservce with the db5.
I'll never understand why people like the movie.
The only good thing about it is the cinematography.
The plot was terrible. The villian was terrible. His plan was terrible.
what the fuck do people like about this one?
The first three films, Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and Goldfinger are the top 3 films. After that it's up to you.
This scene was so based.
I agree with From Russia With Love and Goldfinger, not sure about Dr.No though.
Well-budgeted, well-made, technically innovative, lovingly made films compared with infinite money, corporate, CGI, lukewarm cancer
Also it will always be a mystery too me how Spectre will henceforth be hated as the movie with Blofeld as Bonds "Brother". Someone doesnt become my "brother" after spending 12 weeks me. Did the audience not understand what a foster brother is?
You're fucking retarded. Stop trying so hard.
>Goldeneye anyway near the top 10 let alone first
Opinion disregarded
What a fucking badass.
Connery was so perfect as Bond.
most of them are trash
>From Russia With Love
>Goldfinger
>On Her Majesty's Secret Service
>For Your Eyes Only
>Casino Royale
>The Spy Who Loved Me
>Licence To Kill
>The Living Daylights
>Goldeneye
>Skyfall
>Dr.No
>Thunderball
>Moonraker
>You Only Live Twice
>Octopussy
>The World Is Not Enough
>Tomorrow Never Dies
>Diamonds Are Forever
>A View To A Kill
>The Man With the Golden Gun
>Die Another Day
>Spectre
>Quantum of Solace
Never Say Never Again doesn't count.
it's the best looking and it might give Bond something else than the usual
but Casino Royale is what Bond is about and is quintessential
For me, it's

YAMES BOOOOON
You missed one:

Dalton could work.
The two themes that stand out to me is
youtube.com
and
youtube.com
Also Die another day with Madonna for being so awful and out of place
As long as they don't try to force the ugly nigger girl as a Bond girl and she's just another character, this is fine. I'm okay with everything
Ben Whishaw is a legit good actor shame he's underused.
that's a silly sequence tbphwyf
webm related is the best plane sequence
someone post that jump from the man with the golden gun
She was also one of the GOAT Bond girls
youtube.com
The actual Spectre theme was terrible, man sounded so gay. Not as bad as d one w the far bird tbf
Definitely one of the worst Bond themes
voiced paddington kino.
She's like Opposite Eva Green in terms of characterization. They're both top of the pops.
What is the opinion on Brosnan?
I really liked Goldeneye and The World Is Not Enough
Casino Royale, sweetie
Only Goldeneye is watchable.
Yes.
They are boomer capeshit
They're all at least watchable but it depends on your tolerance.
This looks like cartoon shit
>purvis and wade
"No"
I find them fun, obviously not top-tier Bond. But I'll take his movies over Quantum Of Solace/Spectre any day.
That fight scene for example is amazing.
Kino coming through
youtube.com
It's a shame Dalton only got two movies. He was probably the best actor to play Bond.
YAMES BONDO
It was.
sucks that she got wasted in that shit. swordfight was the only kino part of that moobie
>sucks that she got wasted in that shit
Pike, Toby Stephens, Pierce Brosnan, Judi Dench and John Cleese were all deserved better.
Shit
One of the only good scenes in Spectre despite it being a rip off of From Russia With Love.
>rip off
*homage
lea seydoux is just too lewd
I miss Judi Dench tbqh.
bump
Which are the best Moore films? Most of them are on prime for a couple more days, and I haven't seen any of them, but I also have limited time so I won't watch all of them.
also Dalton best Bond undisputed
>also Dalton best Bond undisputed
um sweety
>over edited shakey camera footage
>kino
Q, fetch me a cosh.
jesus that's a weird editing choice.
normally you want to have a little bit of overlap in the action when you cut to a different shot. That shit doesn't do none of that. There are no reaction shots or something. Just action action action action action. Like normally there'd be some kind of shot of him seeing the chair and grabbing it but that shit is just knocked down, throw chair, punch punch punch etc.
Weird choices were made in that movie.
>black Moneypenny
>giving Adele a job
>homosexual villain
No thanks
Based lazy eye Bond girl poster.
They are all decently watchable and exactly like the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible flicks except with Daniel Craig in the lead.
Of all the trip fag combos yet you chose that one. Here's your (you) poor soul.
Did remind me of this GVSB song, so +1 for you:
youtu.be
that movie gave young me a thing for short hair brunettes
The reason the bond movies are so cool is that they're always a reflection of their time. They're always just ripping off what was popular in their era. So you can learn a lot about movie history over the last 60 years just by watching James Bond shit.
Yass
Golden Gun and Octopussy.
Skyfall the Bond LITERALLY is James movie best that Reminder.
>Which are the best Moore films?
The best by far is The Spy Who Loved Me. Live and Let Die and For Your Eyes Only too. A special mention to Boat Trip where Bond goes uncover as a homosexual.
Character arcs sell. I think the idea has been crippling storytelling for a while now.
the early aughts really were the west time for movies weren't they.
Skyfall has the best Craig era song. The other 3 are hot garbage. Casino Royale is at least as good entertaining-wise.. Skyfall is the best shot.
The weirder editing choice is when he enters the room with M or Tracy's dad and the camera kind of zooms in on him.
I'd say from Spy Who Loved Me to Octopussy was his peak. They were still experimenting with what they wanted to do with him in Live and Let Die and Golden Gun, and a View to a Kill just felt like they were phoning it in.
And yes, Dalton is still the best.
>Skyfall is LITERALLY the best James Bond movie.
based and agreed
It was pretty good. I hardly remember the plot though cuz my girl and I smoked 2 blunts during it and she ended up giving me head about halfway through the movie
oh shit
>Quantum dead last
idk about that.
Retard
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not gonna watch spectre until I rewatch Casino Royale - Skyfall when they release in 4k later this year.
Wow you're so cool
is she the ultimate big tiddy goth gf?
She woulda crushed it in the 90s
>ralph fiennes
well now I am interested
he takes over in Skyfall. that's pretty much the whole plot of that movie. It's his origin story for becoming M.
He was in Skyfall and Spectre.
You're really missing out on Casino Royale
beg pardon I am retarded
>Goldeneye #1
>Moonraker in the top 5.
You aight white boy.
>but the story was poops
I just came back to this thread just to reread that. idk why that makes me laff so much
So I guess we can expect the next bond to fight aliens while wearing an exosuit?
Craig had 2 LEGIT good movies in his run. Like oscar tier movies that kind of transcended the genre.
Brosnan had 1 movie that had a good game that everyone remembers nostalgically. Then all his other movies were just increasingly more Batman and Robin-y as they went along.
Moore was making expensive B-movies.
Connery was making cheap A-movies.
The other 2 bozos are memes.
nah that'd be in like 15 years when they finally get around to catching up to the schlock era we're in the early hump of.
I could picture another Moonraker type of meme after Craig is over and they try to go back to light hearted schlock, and then after the first movie doesn't work, the try to lean into it and we end up with exo suits in space.
So who the hell thought Blofield should be Nyarlathotep? Because they deserve a raise, its actually a pretty cool concept
It may look cringey but the reaction looks real as f* man. Great acting there.
