The first time I saw this scene I kept thinking...something isnt right, just look at the shot composition....a plate of spaghetti on top of a purple square....purple in many cultures is the color of royalty....so why a plate of delicious spaghetti? Then after 5 months it hit me....whats the only genre kubrick never filmed? Spaghetti Western...and there I had it a piece that would unravel everything...he is telling us that he will never put that on sceen, the screen represented by the purple square meaning the industry is controlled by the royal bloodlines, notice how the old man says "try the wine", he is inviting Kubrick into their little club, Kubrick is represented by Alex, a blue scarf and a red white robe....Alex is dressed with the american flag colors in a thorn patter meaning America was getting "torn" at the time, Nasa needed something ANYTHING to get an edge on the Russians...

Look how the Old Man pours a bottle not showing the label, well thats curious, why would he boast about the wine and not even have the courtesy to show the brand? The bottle is the "juice" Kubrick needed for his next projects (money and cameras), the bottle just black with no labels, this represents the dark goverment, now look at the old man his yellow scarf forms a nuclear explotion....hmmmm the more I looked the more I was awake, plus he is wearing orange....hmmm where have I heard that before? I investigated for another 5 months and I remembered it was the title of the movie..... now what was clockwork?? NASA's plan had to work like clockwork, there we had it, he practically said it on camera: I FAKED THE MOON LANDINGS AND THE EARTH IS PROBABLY FLAT.
