Why is Gamora?
Why didnt Thor just brifrosted to Tony?
Why didnt they just sent to a single time, bifrosted to all the stones and get them all?
Why didnt Thor bifrosted Thanos and his army?
Why didnt Thor use the gauntlet?
Why did they have to use ships when Thor has bifrost?
Whydidnt Thor use the bifrost, but dodge it last minute ala Shazam to kill his enemies?
glad Thor ditched the cuckvengers and joined the meme team
Is she gargling semen?
So Danvers could 1 v 1 Thanos but strange didn't bring her in
>the meme team
lmao
why was the ending so bitter?
Thanos lost. The whales probably get sad again. Think about it.
How did the time-machine bring them to Asgard?
why didnt ant man just crawl up thanos' ass and expand
The time machine needs a location to go to or else you'll get lost in the Quantum Realm.
Time machines are usually also space machines.
>Hopes mom aged normally in the quantum realm
>Scott doesn't
Explain this you can't
Why did Thanos think anyone would be grateful for the snap?
What happened to all the people who killed themselves after the snap?
Why is Captain Marvel such an insufferable be-otch?
they died.
Hopes mom got stuck for 20 years
Scott got stock for 5 hours
Where is Beta Ray Bill?
Fpbp
why was ned still in highschool after 5 years
Scott got stuck for 5 years.
jesus christ
Scott himself literally says that only 5 hours went by in the quantum realm and its literally the basis why he thought time travel was possible, its the foundation of this movie
No shes taking it up the ass from thanos
based
Please watch the movie before commenting again, thanks
Imagine if we got deep introspection from The Snap like we got in The Leftovers.
>Thanos cults who believe him and think hes right
>wild dogs from their snapped owners
>snapped babies and fetuses (including Tony's)
>suicides on the cosmic scale
>hundreds of Ronin type vigilantes
>governments begin another space race to find Thanos
>millions of people go insane with grief
Shit would be insane.
how time travel works with captains ending
because it ends with ironman and makes captain america a cuck
cap time traveled after past cap was frozen
Wait, if one quantum hour equals one real year then her being stuck in the quantum realm for 20 real years would mean she was there for only 20 hours wouldn't it? Why would she age like she was there for 20 years?
Bifrost only allows travel to the 7 realms
Tony was in the middle of nowhere
He did get stuck for 5 years. To him, it was 5 minutes. To everyone else, it was 5 years. He got stuck for 5 years, and 5 minutes. Learn to read.
They could've done a 3 hour online series to fill those gaps
I would pay for that
Also if she was in there for 20 quantum years it would mean over 170 thousand real years would have past wouldn't it?
Iron man and black widow are gone. captain america is an old man. its so surreal like batman beyond and wolverine and X-men in Foresight ep
>The Bifrost Bridge is a transit system used by Asgardians to travel to the various realms among the Nine Realms and numerous other planets.
Sif and Co travelled using the bifrost to deliver reality stone to the collector
lets just go with Ant-man aging 5 years but Paull Rudd is too youthful for us to notice
How did Thanos travel with the whole ship through time?
:3
So is Gamora still dead?
it was tiny until it came to present iirc probably got the pym particles
She didnt age 20 years, thats what women naturally look like without any shit on their face
He might’ve been snapped too? But then that would mean the rest of the Far From Home crew must’ve been snapped as well and that’s too convinient.
i thought it was too much when the female superheros were giving thanos blueballs
He knows, it will ruin everything.
Thor was so weak in this movie
>Happy ending with captain murky defeating thanos and arrest him
No, thanks
The good Gamora yeah.
Yea, more importantly, they had Heimdell. Thor can teleport anywhere, but still needs to know where to go. Thor didn't have a location. The guardians got told Titan, Rocket left before this. Also, they had no idea tony was alive.
His dialog in the trailer implies he didn't get dusted, which might have been purposefully misleading, but that just goes back to how convenient it is that Peter's entire friend group also got dusted with him.
why is gamora dead if black widow killed herself before her death?
what fucking happened to loki in 2012?
did they create a new timeline with that?
if so, why did cap seemingly stay in the main timeline when he went back?
is the time machine now a multiverse machine? and doesnt this contradict what the movie sets up as "rules"?
Why did Tony design the new glove to be able to perfectly fit anyone's hands, rather than deciding in advance who'd make the snap and designing the glove with that person's measurements?
Also when the fuck did tony put infinity gem slots on his own suit? Its explicitly mentioned in IW that the infinity gauntlet was SPECIFICALLY crafted to be able to interact with all the stones
alternate timelines and the gamora that died, died before the snappenning. only the alternate timeline gamora is alive
Changes made to past events have no bearing on the future. That's why the heroes undo the snap instead of prevent it from happening in the first place.
>But then why didn't they just take Black Widow and Tony from the moment before they died and bring them to the future?
Because ScarJo and RDJ are too expensive.
Because deep down you know the horrible fate that awaits the future of the MCU
>5 minutes
Scott said he was in there for 5 hours.
did they really win? tony and cap out, who will be the king now?
when is gamorra
dump spic?
all the womyn
It was me that done this to her. sorry guys
Time isn't the same in the Quantum Realm. Hence why they're able to time travel with it. It isn't 1:1
How did Cap return the stones at the end? Doesn't really seem like it could work. Not only did they take them from 4 different times locations but some of them have no way of being returned to their original state, like Loki's staff, the tesseract. And how the fuck is he gonna return the Soul Stone?
No Fantastic Four or X-Men reveal ;_;
Why didn't Clint and Nat push Red Skull off the cliff?
>Corvus and Proxima embrace as they get dusted
:(
Is this the bifrost? Or Captain America's dick when he finally had sex with Peggy?
>Changes made to past events have no bearing on the future
But they do have bearing.
Neytiri is
He said you have to lose that which you love most. Not sure why it even worked tho because Natasha essentially killed herself and she definitely wasn't what he loved most. That entire scene was just baffling to me.
Was this incest?
Since they did that aging de-aging thing with Ant Man couldnt they just do that with Cap and make him not old?
this. literally a way to bring him back if they need to
>Captain Americlap fucks his own niece
It checks out
Right? Like he could literally live his life and whatever then just be like alright lets get back to business
They twisted it the other way around. She sacrificed herself for the one she loved. You can interpret it as hawkeye or him being part of her avengers 'family'
Cap abandoned the team to go live out his life in the past. He obviously does not want that at all. He's done with superhero shit.
I stopped by just to make sure that nigga was dead
why didnt they use the time stone to save tony
Ill put this here.
Do people actually care about spoilers in capeshit? There has only been a single "death" in capeshit that has had some sort of impact and its Spidermans death in Infinity War only for the fact that Tom Holland absolutely sold it but in the end its fucking capeshit so theres always going to be some sort of fix or work around or some ass pull.
Even in Endgame where they claim people turned into the soul stone cant come back or tony is dead for real or that vision is gone for good, because these movies make fucking million and because they're based on comics that have been regurgitated for fucking 30 years i honestly dont see how anybody can watch this shit and say "yes, this emotionally impacted me like ill never see a family member ever again"
I guess thats why the ending felt shit. Sure, cap got to live a life with peggy but you know he isnt done. The Guardians basically abducting the Gamora that knows nothing about them and having Starlord basically force himself on Gamora constantly isnt going to fly, and they'll use the same asspull they use to bring Black Widow back to bring back Gamora even though their realitys stones were destroyed. They can go the "tony is a hologram" route but its always going to be fucking shit because A: We got Doctor Motherfucking Doom as Infamous Iron Man while Tony was in a coma and B: Tony was in a coma, meaning that he was always going to come back eventually.
Because after the sweet release of Thanos’s death and the pathos of Iron Man’s sacrifice, we got two mediocre epilogues featuring sidekicks we don’t care about taking over for cherished characters. Nobody wanted to see Hawkman become Captain America, nobody wanted to see Valkyrie become Queen.
>who will be the king now?
Who gives a shit?
All of the good characters are in the guardians films now
most important characters from homecoming got dusted. theyre going to reference this in far from home where some of the characters are 5 years older than parker for the quips
I love Valkyrie and think she’s the hottest MCU character (2nd is nerdy wakanda tech girl)
I've only gone into one MCU movie unspoiled and that was Spider-Man Homecoming, and I'm glad I did because that twist was pretty awesome.
should have been antman
There was a fucking twist in that garbage?
Should have been shuri for maximum internet asspain
>Iron Man clicks
>Thanos: "What have you done..".
That should have been the last line. It would have been a good plot point that Thanos was trying to save the universe by culling the population, thus not allowing the Celestial beings to consume them en masse, and regain their form.
Saw that movie two weeks ago and have no clue what ur talking about
Ill agree it had a pretty good twist that would have been pretty shitty if spoiled, but would that really pull you out of the experience of literally everything else in the movie?
I just dont get people getting so frustrated with spoilers of deaths and shit, especially if they're one line or one clip. I dont think someone could accurately describe word for word any of the death scenes in Endgame or the major spoilers without doing them a pretty big disservice or cutting out the 10 minutes of fight that lead up to it.
I got people mad by saying "Thanos lost" without context.
Vulture being Peters crush's dad.
Sounds like an ass pull.
Fucking this!
This will be the only time we ever see the classic avengers all on screen. Now it will be all about shilling what the new comics are about and their characters. Still, they had to do something about the contracts ending with RDJ and Evans. It makes me happy knowing that the classic cast had a good run and isn't stuck doing endless capeshit movies that the public is bound to loose interest in sooner or later. RDJ and Evans know this and I'm happy they knew when to call it quites
Literally the only death in 20 movies that caught me off guard was Thanos's first death in this one
Anyone else notice the throw away line from Okoya about "tremors under water" and though about this guy?
I dont think there was ever any sort of hints to who the Vultures family was before the twist, only that he had a family that he was trying to provide for which is why he stole all the alien tech when Stark fucked him over. At the very least on first viewing it was a complete twist.
Ah yes, his performance made the whole movie for me
Why was 2014 Thanos without the Infinity Stones so powerful that he almost defeated Thor who had both Stormbreaker (a weapon that almost killed stones powered Thanos) and Mjolnir? inb4 boomer thor was a fatass, inb4 Thanos+stones was just playing with them
What was even the point of Tony doing another snap when Thanos was going to be defeated anyway after Captain Marvel arrived and one punched his ship, and the plan was to get the stones to Scott's van to send them back anyways?
Why didn't they call Captain Marvel for the time travel mission?
How are they going to deal with the fact that half the population of the universe is 5 years younger and has no idea what happened during that time?
Also the new Spiderman movie has all his classmates the same age, what are the chances they all got dusted so that not one is 5 years older?
Nano machines son!
I’ll ask this in a thread that isn’t dead.
The main problem I had with her in the movie was that she for some reason just forgot she was a borderline god when she got to Thanos. She flew into his flag ship and destroyed the entire thing in seconds but she can’t break his fingers, rip off his arm, or just smash the gauntlet like she would smash the patriarchy? If she flew full speed at thanos he would be a purple puddle and he wouldn’t be able to stop her. Why did she suddenly become retardedly weak?
Is Thor done or will he be in the GOTG movies?
Also glad there will be no more Hulk, Hawkeye, or Black Widow (although family-less Hawkeye killing gang memebers was fucking awesome)
it's a superheroes film lol just turn off your brain
I actually wanted to see him go see the Red Skull and go "hey fuck face, you dropped this" and just toss it off the cliff and teleport away
>Is Thor done or will he be in the GOTG movies?
GOTG3 is in production now and will almost certainly have thor in it
I think Chris said he's still down to keep playing Thor. Thor is more popular then ever so I don't see why Disney wont have him pop up here and there or even give him another movie. It seems to be implied he will be in the next GOTG movie
Those realities are going to stay altered, you can't get them back to how they were, not exactly. The purpose of returning the stones to the realities right when the other stones were removed was to ensure that those realities wouldn't further diverge into one where things get unstable from not existing.
I mean sure it was a surprise, but was it really impactful at all? It was in the first thirty minutes of the film.
Vulture in Homecoming was absolutely fantastic. The reason i could never get into shit like DC or most of Spiderman is due to how fucking retarded some of these characters still look. Comic versions of Scorpion, Doc Ock, Vulture and Rhino and Mysterio are just so utterly ridiculous, im still in awe with what an amazing job they did with the Vulture redesign and hope once we see Mysterio in action and the other rubber suit looking designs get updated that they keep the level of quality.
>we can't change the past, we just have to borrow the stones, use them to get everyone back return them at the same time they left to avoid alternate timelines
>cap goes to the past and marries peggy
someone explain this to a brainlet
>its a twist because information was with held
It just seems weird, the end credits showed characters who had died off and they signed their names. Thor (CHemsworth) did as well (as did Hulk) and I was wondering if that implied their run was done in MCU
I guess not
Who cares? Instead of trying to figure out that messy situation, I’m mad at Capt having such a cucked ending
Stones are returned and we can move onto new stories. I really don’t see what difference it makes know how Capt got them back (maybe he didn’t and the next phase is stones fuckery because they have no other ideas)
Cap did what he was supposed to do. He didn't change his past. Marrying Peggy was his present.
>Peter returns to school
>half his classmates have graduated
>it just so happens everyone he has ever interacted with got snapped too
>He didn't change his past. Marrying Peggy was his present.
hold up that doesn't make sens-CARLOS
And if he goes back aren’t there two Steve Rogers? So he marries Peggy were did the other Steve go?
So what happened with Loki and him getting the cube after they fucked up the heist?
Same with every other loose end, it'll come up in the next 10 years.
cap put the stones back so nothing changed
BiFrost destroyed in Thor3. Also no Heimdall.
Bucky was so badass in Winter Soldier and he’s been shit since. What a waste of a character I’m not sure why they even bring him around still
In Cap's perspective, he didn't change the past. It was a one-way trip for him. Literally just his present life.
Cap marrying Peggy literally wouldn't change anything in the main timeline.
This helped me out in case anyone is interested.

oh shit
>Hopes mom aged normally in the quantum realm
>Scott doesn't
Explain this you can't
Different locations in the Microverse (that's really what it is) have different time vortexes.
In Ant-Man 2 they say to be careful where you step or you could get shifted in time.
Stormbreaker can summon the bifrost. Thor teleported to earth in IW using it.
All the white males where weak in this movie.
> Thor almost gets Thanoed
> Steve gets his ass kicked even with Mjolnir
> Tony dies after the snap.
> Hulk get emasculated by the bald wizzard
> Quill gets kicked in the nuts
> Spider-Man immediately fades to oblivion as “Yeah you go girl scene” starts
The implication would be that he made a stable timeloop that closes the moment he goes back in time to return the stones? This mean cap was there all throughout the movies but was just fucking around and couldn’t reveal himself till that timelines cap went back to the past. That is how it should work at least but this movies time travel rules are turbo fucked.
What happens to the Capt back in his time? The only time travel instances they didn’t replace themselves, they saw themselves in the past?
He was one of the people dusted so he's five years younger.
Valkyrie
He only aged 5 hours. Did you see the movie?
The Gamora from the present is still dead, the one from 9 years in the past is still out there, hence why Quill was searching for her at the end.
based
Why didn't Captain Marvel leave Earth when she had the gauntlet and all the stones? Thanos was stranded with no ship.
No - Gamora from 5 years ago shifted to the present and doesn't remember the past 5 years.
The Gamora from Avengers IW is dead.
what a garbage diagram
Who would use it then? If thanos killed everyone there, then what?
Except Tony is dead. Widow is dead. And they didnt fucking abduct The past Gamora. Im assuming she got dusted with the rest of the Thanos Army
I;m fine with Valkrie taking over.
Fuck asgard, it was holding thor back and he never wanted to be king.
Now he is with the guardians
They never replace themselves when they time traveled. There aren't multiple Captain Americas living parallel, there's just one who appears to be living in non-chronological order.
So will we expect to see Loki again in the future? His disappearance with the tesseract was never mentioned again.
What happened when loki got the blueshit
he went to mcdonalds
have you even watched the movie.
It sometimes surprises me that people get something other the bacon egg cheese biscuit. But the sausage is also bretty good, so it's understandable. But BECB all the way
Looks like they'll cast Kit Harrington to play him
The other Steve Rogers is a popsicle at that time.
>Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?
>Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.
>I know guys with none of that worth ten of you. I've seen the footage. The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you.
>I think I would just cut the wire.
>Always a way out. You know, you may not be a threat, but you'd better stop pretending to be a hero.
>A hero? Like you? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle.
They were doing fine. Thanos had lost his ship at that point, the only thing that could stop Scarlet Witch from killing him, due to its fire power. Another coordinated attack from her and a joint effort from a handful of other heroes would have been enough. All CM had to do was fly it into space on some remote planet like Mars and comeback at lightspeed to help out again.
They'd have to wait a few years to introduce him, otherwise the public will confuse him with Aquaman.
Corvus was 1 shot by the spear chucking nigress
Loki is still new to our customs
underrated
>You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play
;(
Why is Ebony Maw such a cool character? And why did he have to die twice? :(
So maybe I am a brainlet, but a few things confused me. For starters the whole captain america thing at the end didnt make sense to me. So I get that instead of coming back to the present after dropping off all the stones he decided to go back and live a life with that Peggy chick or whatever. But what the fuck did he do with the Steve Rodgers from that timeline? Did he fucking murder him in his ice tomb? I don't understand... sure you could say it would have been fine for the first 70 or so years but after that????
Another thing that kind of confuses me. So 5 hrs in the quantum realm was 5 years if i am remembering that whole explanation right. Yet 5 seconds was plenty of time for Cap to do whatever the fuck he needed to do to get the stones all returned? And how the fuck was 70 years able to pass for Cap when it was only like 10 seconds for everyone else???
And lastly. When Captain America goes back in time to return the stones how do they know they are returning to the exact timeline in which they stole them? Furthermore wasnt the plan was to return them before they ever were actually stolen? And if thats the case... wouldnt the stone actually still be there? Or did I not correctly hear what the plan was?
how did he die twice again?
I missed him on the battlefield
>Did he fucking murder him in his ice tomb? I don't understand
no need, they don't find him will way later
>But what the fuck did he do with the Steve Rodgers from that timeline?
They never found him. He gave Shield the tesseract and he was "alive", so there was no need to look for him.
What really sucks is this.
>Captain America is responsible for the division in the Avengers.
>Iron Man warned them of what was coming but Captain Ima Good Guy was to goody two shoes.
>In the end Captain has a long super happy life while Tony gets 5 years of actual happiness then gets one in the infinity stones.
You're confusing "being trapped in the quantum realm" with time travel, two different concepts.
Spooderman.
He is trying to reach for Thanos as he gets dusted in the background.
And then another set of mcu does the same exact thing.
Their solution is retarded. All they've done is create a billion variants where Earth gets wrecked by Dormammu.
damn, poor kid
Why do the black order called Thanos "Father" during IF while in this movie they called him "Sire"?
HOW THE FUCK DOES THIS EVEN WORK!
>Thanos from the past comes to the future without any of the equipment outside of a tube of Pim Particles.
>Past Thanos before Infinity War, before any of the events of Guardians, is now in the future.
>He is now dead.
>The bald bitch complained about fucking up the time line but strictly mentions that the only thing that screws with it, are the infinity stones because they are time itself.
>Infinity War never happened, none of it never happened.
>The "I know you" line started to make sense but now it dosent cause dead Thanos.
both
>doesn't warn the avengers about Thanos instead
>so Tony would end up alive
Old Cap is a douche.
The five seconds is the timestamp aka rendezvous point for Steve. The plan was after he finished his mission all he had to do was to set his time destination to 5 seconds after he went into the portal.
>So maybe I am a brainlet, but a few things confused me. For starters the whole captain america thing at the end didnt make sense to me. So I get that instead of coming back to the present after dropping off all the stones he decided to go back and live a life with that Peggy chick or whatever. I don't understand... sure you could say it would have been fine for the first 70 or so years but after that????
Cap doesn't need to do anything about the fact that his life is overlapping with itself. It doesn't change anything that both 25 year-old cap and 65 year-old Cap live at the same time. It's the same person, not two copies.
Time doesn't work the same in the Quantum Realm as it does in real life. Time passes differently and that's how they're able to time travel.
The plan was to drop them off right after they were stolen so the timeline recoalesce. Doesn't matter which time line it is, because the stone being there causes the reunion.
>>Thanos from the past comes to the future without any of the equipment outside of a tube of Pim Particles.
It's not hard to believe that there are much smarter people in the universe than Hank Pym.
Yeah but when they do find him that would be pretty fucking awkward....
So you are saying that he just left that timelines Cap underground? Which means in the present there is a perfectly preserved captain america still frozen?
But I thought they were based on the same idea and its what let them timetravel.
Just think of all the African Warlords...
>But I thought they were based on the same idea and its what let them timetravel.
They both use the quantum realm, the difference is staying in the realm versus using it to travel to a different point in time.
why did kim jong un attend tony's funeral?
They never adress Thanos as father in endgame.
The OG Avengers got the signature treatment at the end, I also thought it was because their tenure was done but it's literally just because they were the first ones.
reminder ironman ended isis while captain america did nothing but watch
literally nanomachines son
Ya, Thanos just happened to quickly throw together a time machine and zoom to the future, he just happened to have shit to do this, and instead didn't just, lets say, do anything else.
Thanos just went from a very calculative genius to "ima go punchem to death" in a nano second.
Every bit of characterization was thrown out the window and he turned into "ima bad guy"
>quickly
We don't know how long it took. It might have taken years.
They won, why would Cap change anything to fuck the loop
Time travel in the movie works by having the past set in stone. You can't go back and change things that already happened.
That means that there are two Thanoses that get split when young Thanos discovers Nebula. Original Thanos does the events of IF. Thanos-2 does the events of endgame.
>Patent pending hank pim particles working in a Thanos time machine.
Nigga please stop and think for a moment, he knows he dies in the future, he even had the date, he could have just went to his garden with his mass army and obliterated the Avengers.
Wherefore art Gamorra?
Cap is too smart and unselfish to even considering to interfere. If the future Cap gets involved in even the littlest Avengers/Shield thing he would affect the future he knows of and that doesn't always mean good no matter what his intention is.
>study particles, learn about quantum realm
>Also take information from Nebulas memories
It's not that improbable that he figured out time travel based on those two things.
Did Gamora know the soul stone's location in Infinity War because she had been visited by future Nebula in the original time line?
Nah. Corvus and Obsidian (who was Giant man stomped) were both still around and kicking. Corvus can't die unless his Glaive is destroyed.
No, she just somehow always knew.
No, she'd been actively searching for it before that. Nebula even says so.
Those who think Thanos shouldn't be a changed man clearly didn't pay attention to the movie and don't have any right to talk about the fucking 'characterization'.
The Daughters use "Father", but Ebony Maw doesn't say Father.

>Cap doesn't need to do anything about the fact that his life is overlapping with itself. It doesn't change anything that both 25 year-old cap and 65 year-old Cap live at the same time. It's the same person, not two copies.
How wouldnt it? Cap was famous as fuck even in his time. So when another Cap suddenly pops out of ice after 70 years thats sure to raise some eyebrows. The only thing i can think is he left that timelines Cap frozen, which seems slightly out of character...
>Time doesn't work the same in the Quantum Realm as it does in real life. Time passes differently and that's how they're able to time travel.
Okay fair enough. But why is time still apparently so much slower in the present than it is for Cap in the past? IE if a task takes Rodgers 5 hrs in the past why has only a few seconds at most passed in the present?
>The plan was to drop them off right after they were stolen so the timeline recoalesce. Doesn't matter which time line it is, because the stone being there causes the reunion.
Oh okay. So in pretty much every timeline the stones would be missing after they took them?
Didn't past nebula bring his shrunk ship back with everyone onboard
>Thought Hawkeye or Nebula was going to use the gauntlet
>Tony did
It was alright
The Cap moment with Mjolnir was the best part of the movie though
Wait isnt obsidian died? Also fucking hell i was hoping for more interaction between gamorra and nebuka with the rest of the children of thanos, instead the children if thanos get even less showtime.
Gamora could have been looking for during the gap between Avengers (New York) and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Fyi actress shows her tits in westworld season 1
There's literally infinite plotholes because of the time travel thing .
>but muh time travel rules work this way
"no"
Even then its stupid they just dismiss the infinity gems powers as well. Like they could use the time gem for A LOT of things.
>world in chaos after snap even five years after the fact
>bringing back billions of people all of a sudden wont end in poverty, food shortages and war
Isnt corvus and maw also said father when thanos instruct them to gather the rest of the infinity stones?
This was the biggest plot hole to me 5years is a lot for a kid that’s like 8th grade to being a senior in high school. The othe big plot hole was characters fucking holding infinity stones like wtf just have stark make some containment things and have hulk/Hawkeye put them in those when they are given the stones but nope they straight up hold them. Serious the fuck was that?
Divergent realities. Despite the whole spiel about how time travel doesn't work like Back to the Future or other movies, it just works like DragonballZ.
>hawkman
I saw Thanos the Mad Titan at a grocery store in Wakanda yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his Gauntlet shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like six Infinity Stones in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to make more resources first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the stones and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each stone and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by snapping really loudly.
He's being dumb. Only the time stone has any semblance of being important up to all the stones actual destruction in Thanos' hands. As long they don't destroy that, Thanos could never enact his plan.
>How wouldnt it? Cap was famous as fuck even in his time. So when another Cap suddenly pops out of ice after 70 years thats sure to raise some eyebrows. The only thing i can think is he left that timelines Cap frozen, which seems slightly out of character...
Everyone thinks Cap is dead because of the plane crash. No one is going to automatically assume the handsome guy next door is the dead war-hero. Especially as time passes.
Why would he unfreeze himself if he knows how his life is going to go and is happy where he ends up?
>Okay fair enough. But why is time still apparently so much slower in the present than it is for Cap in the past? IE if a task takes Rodgers 5 hrs in the past why has only a few seconds at most passed in the present?
Time travel. He's leaving, doing what he needs to, then time traveling back to immediately after he left.
>Oh okay. So in pretty much every timeline the stones would be missing after they took them?
Yes, missing stones is what causes then to split, but they were all replaced immediately after they were taken by Cap.
This still makes no fucking sense.
i wouldnt worry about it
In the Battle of NY there are 3 Captain Americas
1. Captain America Prime
2. Time traveling Captain America
3. Old Captain America that went back
How does this shit make sense?
>cap moment with mjolnir
this. omnislash levels of kino
I think the point was that they would rather deal with the problems together than sacrifice half the universe.
My big gripe with the whole thing is that Thanos' main logic for the original snap was "this universe is finite, it's resources finite. Why didn't he just create infinite resources, the reality stone alone could have accomplished this and if not then all 6 together certainly break every known law of physics. He could've made everyone in the universe immortal and invincible even. His use of an unlimited power is so small minded it's fucking baffling to me.
Either 1 or 3 is there, no both.
The gauntlet didn't kill Iron Man. Dr. Strange did.
>When they kill Thanos first time, I was mad
>When Thanos knocked out Captain Marvel, I clapped and yelled fuck yeah
>When Thanos got dusted, I was like noooooo
Thanos was the real protagonist and he lost. That's why. They did a good job of making him likeable.
It feels kind of weird that they're finally getting rid of the old team especially when all their replacements are so fucking mediocre.
There's only two. 1 and 3 are the same Captain
But both need to exist. 1 has to have happened for 3 to happen
>Captain America mentions that certain wild life is returning, pollution is down, wars, crimes, its down.
>NAH LETS JUST GET BACK ON TRACK TO DAMNATION!
1 Captain America 3 times
If 1 was unfrozen from the ice, then 3 would be old and would not participate in the battle. Why would Old Cap try to fight?
>threw shield and then mjolnir onto the shield
holy fucking keeno
Wait a second...what did cap do with mjolnir after he time travelled? Is it just sitting somewhere like excalibur waiting for some worthy earthling to pick it up?
For Cap to exist at all in the future Cap prime needs to exist and get frozen and if he exists all 3 need to exist
>old man cap shows up on the bench
>didn't use the time portal, probably just walked over there
>this means that he stuck around and had a life with Peggy in the main universe
Any time there is a plot hole in the MCU, you can just say that Cap did it.
Reminds me of the scene in Avengers 2 when Cap almost lifts the hammer, and Thor gets nervous.
Not disputing that, but why would Old Cap go fight in the battle?
He returned it to Asgard with the reality stone
>Everyone thinks Cap is dead because of the plane crash. No one is going to automatically assume the handsome guy next door is the dead war-hero. Especially as time passes. Why would he unfreeze himself if he knows how his life is going to go and is happy where he ends up?
Ehh this is a fucking serious stretch. Like how would people not recognize this? Especially the other military people. And clearly Peggy knows its him. Like I said if he keeps himself frozen. Sure. Everyone just thinks he left the plane crash unscathed and he goes on with his life. But this requires he leave the other cap frozen. Which seems somewhat selfish, which is not what Cap is at all..... Also it means there is a perfectly fine not old captain america still out there somewhere.
DC will takeover until Fantastic Four finally stops jobbing at the box office and can be the foundation for the next phase.
>Time travel. He's leaving, doing what he needs to, then time traveling back to immediately after he left.
>Yes, missing stones is what causes then to split, but they were all replaced immediately after they were taken by Cap.
And to add ig this clears up those other two points. Thanks user
>When Thanos knocked out Captain Marvel, I clapped and yelled fuck yeah
cringe
Oh that makes sense, I'm retarded.
Cap could wield it then, but chose not to in respect to Thor
Hence "I KNEW IT" from Thor when it comes flying in Caps hand
Captain America just stayed in the house the whole time, like a shut in.
Peggy was the head of SHIELD, she could keep a secret.
how is he a cuck?
There is no other Cap. It's himself from earlier in his own life that's frozen. They aren't two separate people that live independently of one another.
How did Rocket get the stone from Natalie Portman. Did they show it?
Stabbed her in the ass.
He wouldn't fight I am just saying all 3 exist at that time
Should I go back and watch Ant Man and The Wasp? Kate looked pretty good in that suit...
Captain America cucks himself with Peggy.
That's fair, perhaps you shouldn't have said "In the Battle of NY" then.
>pollution is down
>Scott's neighborhood has become a literal garbage dump
wat?
There are only two Captain America's. Future Cap went back in time and returned to his timeline. Then Future Cap went back in time again and stayed, growing old with Peggy, and then returned to his timeline. Only two Captains.
It's San Francisco bro
It's a fun movie. Definitely worth a watch.
Watch it for Lilly, the rest of the film however is almost Thor 2 bad
The total amount of pollution is down, but there are refugee camps at the statue of Liberty and the baseball stadium. Parts of the world get messy because there is no garbage men or police to enforce clean streets.
Global Warming isn't real because it is cold where I live.
But, is probably right.
Now THAT is America's Ass.
Large and trashy?
>Returning the space stone back to the past doesn't magically revert it back to the tessaract
>Returning the reality stone back to the past doesn't magically revert it back to the aether
>Nobody from spider man aged 5 years
Fuck this movie
now that they got hank pym back because he is unsnapped CAN'T THEY JUST MAKE MORE PYM PARTICLES AND TIME TRAVEL AND PULL PEOPLE OUT OF THE PAST WHENEVER THEY WANT
They probably just used a previously shot scene from Thor 2. That's why Natalie Portman didn't interact with anyone or anything, they just CGI'd a rabbit into the scene.
Holy fuck can we all just admit that the time travel in this movie didn't make any sense and they barely bothered to explain how it specifically worked? It's literally just dumbed down writing just so a mass audience could grasp the basic concepts and not question things. That is the whole reason that nothing is elaborated on. MCUfags are going to defend the writing regardless because they're all brain dead corporate slaves. The fact that people have multiple interpretations of how Captain America was an old man at the end is a testament to how little they cared to explain anything. This is a movie made for brainlets.
So he had to explain to Peggy that there was another frozen cap? Also would that change the future since I assume he wouldnt participate with the avengers... or are you implying they still thawed the other captain out eventually? But again wouldnt that raise some eyebrows? Like why are we unthawing a guy that has still been running around the past 70 years... time travel is so shitty.
Except thats not true. There are clearly past versions of themselves when they traveled back in time. Why would this be any different?
Can we just admit that people who are bothered by "time travel inconsistencies" and want to argue about time travel are truly autistic and should be shunned?
God bless
That sounds very symbolic of America, so yes.
Yes. The next Antman movie is going to be another Time Heist.
Why didn't Iron Man kill her with his snap?
so did they kill off Tony because RDJ didn't want to work on mahvel stuff anymore or what
>Nobody from Spiderman aged 5 years
They probably all lost the Thanos lottery and got snapped too
Iron Man and Captain America were the strongest u fag
Is this right?
Assuming the whole 'put things back where they came from or so help me' stuff erases the "false timelines".
That and he was the most expensive actor.
He probably did, Quill is just hopeful since he saw another Gamora
Because she had turned on Thanos already, and Tony's snap was meant to eradicate his army, which she was no longer a part of?
>Antman establishes the rules early
>Don't interact with your past self or you break the space time continuum
>Captain America says fuck that and fist fights himself
There was no consistency what so ever
>how are you going to get through all of them?
>with the power of feminism
Thoughts on this scene?
Maybe they know and that's why they sent her away for the whole thing
>wouldnt that raise some eyebrows
Captain America never left the house. It was a secret. Nobody needed to know why Director Carter kept playing 1940s dance music.
Yes, young Cap stayed frozen.
The past "versions" are caused by deviations in what happened. Nebula, Thanos, and Gamora are different because Nebula changes the course of events. Chronologically, those versions cannot lead into the cannon ones.
Cap, on the other hand, doesn't create another version because Cap of 1945 chronologically becomes the Cap that travels. They're the exact same person.
How did the taco van survive a several dozen missiles?
Holy shit lol
I seriously hate this characterization of Cap.
Throwing away his duty for some bimbo is so out of his character it's actually bothering me.
the fact that they placed spiderman there makes me fear that they gonna make him queer eventually
Scott was talking based on movies he saw, which Bruce explained to him was bullshit.
Civil War
>Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter refused to pay Robert Downey Jr's salary, reducing Iron Man to a brief appearance. Downey Jr. lobbied for a larger role and was backed by producer Kevin Feige, leading to a conflict that ended with Marvel Studios splitting off from Marvel Entertainment and Perlmutter being reassigned to the television department while Feige had complete creative control over the movies.
I sighed at how blatant it was, but then chalked it up to the executives wanting a scene for women so they'd go see the movie/future movies
The fuck was Mantis going to do there? She's not exactly front-line material.
why did you have to pick yellow?
1950s is on the main timeline. Cap didn't need to use the Time Portal to universe/timeline hop.
Take the eigenvalue from the inverted torus and calculate the spectral decomposition
Why did Tony chimp out at Cap in the beginning when he was the bad guy? Was it just malnutrition making him delusional?
Why didn’t the world military use nuclear warheads to kill thanos?
>a scene for women
that would be fit thor shirtless
I feel that Captain Marvel originally had a much bigger role in this movie. They were building her up so much and all she did was get btfo by thanos and blow up his ship. What was up with that?
But that doesn't make sense because they were sent with only two pym particles each and past Nebula used it to return to the present. So how did they get Thanos' ship through with no Pym particles?
The war was finally over for him. He was constantly talking in Avengers and Winter soldier about how he felt like he never really came home from war. Now he finally has
She was useful in IW, but she didn't do anything in Endgame.
Did you actually watch any of the Captain America movies? Agent Carter was his waifu. He'd have done anything for her.
>The fuck was Mantis going to do there?
Apologize to the audience for the Baizuo bullshit and do a cute dance
>don't interact with your past self
>Nebula literally kills her past self
>she is still alive
This movie was peak capeshit stupidity made for retarded capeshit fans
The war is never over, not as an Avenger.
This is why I hate time travel as a storytelling device. Ultimately it's stupid and makes no sense. It's really hard to get right.
Everyone who had the nuclear codes was snapped, and they were too confused during the Endgame fight.
No wizards showed up to explain things to them, which meant it wasn't part of Strange's plan to nuke anyone.
I'm colour blind. I don't know what I picked.
so what; whenever howard stark had to meet his coworker's husband, he just wore a cartoon mustache and glasses to not be recognized? he let his friend get tortured for decades by hydra? he let jfk get shot? he let howard get assassinated? he never told howard that he survived, or tell him to be a better dad to tony? he just chilled for 70 years?
>If I see a situation headed south, I have to do something
well apparently not
Rumors last month were that there are 2 cuts of the movie. One we got and one with her playing a bigger role.
Since no one likes Brie and her bullshit they probably didnt wanna risk another Rey 2.0
Hope they recast CM
Because everything Tony warned Cap about came true. He was pissed because he was right.
Banner's rules for time travel don't apply. He was right that it wasn't Back to the Future rules, but it was Dragonball Z rules instead.
The Ancient One explained the rules to Banner.
Well I hope he doesn’t regret that when his old ass has to watch Galactus or Dr Doom or Magneto threaten the world.
BUT HES IN THE FUCKING PAST YOU FUCKING RETARD. BUCKY IS STILL GETTING TORTURED. HOWARD IS STILL GOING TO GET ASSASSINATED. SHIELD IS STILL GOING TO BE INFILTRATED BY HYDRA. WHAT; FOR 70 FUCKING YEARS HE JUST LET HIS WIFE'S PLACE OF WORK BE FULL OF NAZIS
The 50's Tesseract timeline and the 2014 power stone timeline are a little ambiguous. Cap returning the stone to 2014 Morag could've just erased that timeline like the Ancient One alluded to, and returning the Tesseract to the Shield Base could've erased or merged that timeline back with the main one.
If Cap did just live in secret with Peggy and didn't cause any major divergences he may have existed in the main timeline all along and took the long way around to give Falcon the shield.
The big one is the 2012 Loki timeline, which I assume is still around unless Cap hunted Loki down to return the stone. Or that's a loose end for Loki's streaming show on Disney +.
Yes, because he's a hero and knows that he has to do. He endured it knowing it would all work out in the end.
That's the price of oneitits
yes
For the greater good of getting some
>Pepper Potts joins the fray
I was actually really down for this. Danvers can take a hike, but watching Potts kick some ass was kino
They fucked up by calling it time machine, while clrealy meant parallel universes.
They should have stated they are jumping to different universes and pulling the stones from them.
They even could have the morally grey area of "we are trying to save our reality by fucking over 6 random ones".
this.
and Paul Rudd is going to look the exact same in real life 2025 anyways.
When new Nebula shot old Nebula why didn't she did killing yourself literally would create a new timeline based on what the ancient one said
I honestly believe that now, the way they used her didn't make any sense.
So why didn't old Cap try to stop 9/11?
When Tony had that mentality, he created Ultron. When Cap had that mentality, he broke up the Avengers. You gotta know when to move on at done point.
Everything in that turns out alright without Cap intervening. He even says in the movie to BW that maybe they're shouldn't be someone trying to manage the world.
If they can do time travel and CM can do anything why not send her back before the snap then use that gauntlet to bring back to the timeline and use it?
>50 years old
It was a cool1 minute scene in a movie where a good 2 hours didn’t have a single female character on screen. Seeing faggots REEEEEE over it because “b-but the sjw propaganda is being forced down my throat!” is better than the actual scene
what happened in 2012 to switch his smirk from being to the left to the right?
Cap returning the power stone won't bring back Thanos et al, unless you're telling me that one stone can reverse the effects of a wish made on all of the stones together. There would be no Thanos or GOTG in that timeline, Ego would be super pissed that his son was killed (if Quill even could be killed by something other than Ego himself).
time travel sucks
That was why I was confused when she gave up the time stone so willingly. Because Strange said so isn't a good enough reason for me.
except the fact that peggy used Cap being gone as motivation for starting shield when Sharon told him that at her funeral
>shit you do in the past doesn't change the future
>except when Captain America becomes an old man
fucking explain this. He would have to become an old man in an alternate timeline instead of the main one for that to make sense.
hail hydra
when did pepper become rescue though
Buying up a few tickets in the west wouldnt hurt disney and CM did do good outside because shitskins have a white woman fetish and the international dub most likely is feminism free
Its fucking disney they own fucking everything now there is no more true "loss" for them
Ya, a neighborhood of no people in it, Scott flat out says that thanks to the boats and pollution being out of the harbor, the whales are returning.
You saw all the cars piled up at a empty baseball stadium, the trash remains, of course its not going to vanish, Thanos didnt snap away the garbage mankind made, its stuck there.
EXACTLY
Banner was talking out of his ass. He didn't know how the portal worked until he talked to the Ancient One.
Alternate dimensions, not alternate timelines. Praise the Russo.
Another complaint
>Banner should have been Grey instead of Green
[CONTINUED]
>>
should have ended with rogers giving his shield to sam and living in a timeline where he is getting married with peggy and bucky is his best man
So you dont think they ever unfroze him? So then cap never participates with the avengers? Or are you saying they just keep him hidden and let events unfold. Because again that would be a pretty fucking huge secret to keep hidden since Rodgers was pretty famous.. also didnt exactly look like him and peggy stayed hidden
Doesnt make sense. Present Rodgers definitely made some changes im the past
Then you are really going to seethe, before Disney forced them to put Captain Marvel into the movie, and forced a Captain Marvel movie, the shit was going to be different.
>A mysterious golden glow is what brought Tony back to Earth.
>He thinks its god but towards the end its revealed its Adam Warlock and he talks about shit.
>The one who comes in and saves the day towards the end was Pepper Potts in the Iron Maiden with a photon cannon and fucks the shit out of everything.
>The movie was about Tony accepting his death but it got more downplayed to be light hearted and time heist.
1962 called, they want you to fuck off
mr. fixit would've confused everyone.
Or are you saying that the Hulk should've stayed grey?
kek
true but isnt gravity the fabric of the universe that controlls time?
>didnt exactly look like him and peggy stayed hidden
He just stayed in the house.
If he ever left, he put on a baseball cap (which happened in this movie)
Did Hulk just hafl-ass smash things back in New York?
Literally no one in my theater laughed, it was super odd
Anyone who thinks Cap isn't a major plothole they're fucking retarded. It explicitly goes against the explanation of both Banner and the Ancient One. The Ancient One didn't want to "remerge" the timelines and make sure they didn't deviate, she wanted to make it so that her timeline wasn't fucked seeing as their stones were taken and when Doctor Strange happened in her timeline Dormamu didn't just merc Strange there and then, etc. When Cap went back he obviously changed the past, even in some small way, which causes a split. Therefore he wouldn't be able to be sitting on the bench of the timeline he moved away from, unless you consider that time is a fucking conscious entity that decides what changes are worth "splitting" for, and doesn't bother when it doesn't deem the consequences as relevant, which is physically retarded.
They could have avoided it by having cap time travel back through the machine and be old, but apparently a gaping plot hole was worth the "shock" of him sitting just out of shot.
Also they had enough Pym for one round trip each so after Nebula did a round trip essentially what the fuck was Thanos using to get back?
>time travel sucks
They actually picked the most unfuckupable version of time travel you could pick, which is essentially parallel dimensions, and still managed to fuck it up. Badly.
>
Why not keep him frozen? We know it all works out. Maybe him and Peggy had a good story to explain why he looks like Captain America.
>Doesnt make sense. Present Rodgers definitely made some changes im the past
Like what?
no? Mass warps spacetime, so that "straight" trajectories curve along with the curved spacetime, but they are still straight.
Gravity is Desire
>Banner was talking out of his ass
no he wasn't. That's the entire reason why the mistakes they made in the past, i.e. Loki stealing the tesseract; cap fighting himself and shit didn't affect anything in the main timeline. Furthermore, Tilda Swinton was talking out her ass more than anybody.
>hurr durr if you remove one infinity stone, everything goes to shit.
If this were true then why did nothing bad happen in the main timeline aside from what Thanos did? Why is it terrible for her timeline to go on without just 1 infinity stone but it's totally fine if the main timeline has literally none?
>Why not keep him frozen?
They can't. They need a young Cap for The Avengers (New York).
Two Caps is the way to go. One secret, the other a Capsicle until The Avengers.
The Wizards use the Time Stone to protect the world from stuff, which is why The Ancient one was all about keeping things steady. The other stones just sit around doing nothing.
Reality doesn't break if the stones are gone, but the Wizards have a hard time doing their job.
Did anyone suggest otherwise?
Cap's timeline is
>Ww2
>Frozen
>Dethawed in 2000s
>Avengers movies
>Travel to live with Peggy
Of course he's being dethawed. No one knows he's secretly living in the 40s. You seem confused
Bill and Ted did time travel right, Which is basically Endgame's time travel.
Fuck no. Dopeyface McManlet?
Fuck this shit.
Again, this contradicts the entire premise of how time travel works in the rest of the movie, which makes everything else make no sense at all.
Fortnite is still being played five years in the future
>Like what?
Eating food? Drinking water? Killing a fucking insect? Are you dense lad?
Based Fortnite
fuck Blizzard and Overwatch
>Frozen
>Dethawed in 2000s
Frozen was released in 2013 though.
Marrying peggy for one. Plus would it not raise some eyebrows when they unthaw captain america who has actually been around for the previos 70 years.
The movie posits the you can't change the past in a way that alters the future. Different timelines are created instead of the world you know changing. The only contradiction that the movie has is Cap showing up on the bench. I'll give it a pass sense it's a good scene, but please feel free to point something else out.
Ivar enim euge.
I mean, we know he interacted with Flash, MJ and Ned. Also the blonde chick (Betty Brant?) is in the trailer. That's four people.
That's not so crazy. It's like, if they said that they would divide the group in that trip into two hostels at random, and Peter ended up in the same hostel as his buddy Ned, and then MJ, Flash and Betty, it wouldn't be like some sort of insane cosmic coincidence, would it? 50% of something is still pretty fucking good odds.
Don't fucking write in yellow.
Why is Cap suddenly in the original timeline as an old man? I thought that what changes in the past doesn't change the future? Ergo, Nebula still being alive despite killing her past self.
There are a few major plot holes after end game including old Cap America being in their time line.
>Doctor Strange said out of 14 million realities, only 1 where they win
>But what about the reality past Thanos left and was killed by modern Avengers. Is that not another reality that is now Thanos free and safe?
also
>How the fuck did past Nebula bring Thanos and his gigantic ship through the portal, when there were no Pym particles left?
>They make a huge deal out of this earlier in the movie
>Yet Past Nebula just powers up the time machine and you don't even see her using the particles
>Wouldn't a massive war ship like that need a shit load of the red Pym particles to make a trip
>Wouldn't the ship need a device of its own to bring it into the future
>Just live each avenger needing a device to bring them home
None of it makes sense.
