Art reflects life, even unintentionally. This is the white man giving up. He's done fighting for a future he can't pass on.

The same can be said for Nu Star Wars. It's about white men dying off and women/minorities taking over. This goes way deeper than SJW narrative. It reflects a deep reality.
Watch what he says at the beginning about Socrates and the storytellers.

What makes Captain America's arc so good in the MCU is how he came to grips with what has happened to his life and the ones he loved.
Some can argue that he deserves happiness and giving him that was fan service.. I think giving him a happy ending is a disservice and doing so goes against his entire character arc.
He bailed.
Everything in Endgame I can accept. I enjoyed everything in Endgame except Captain America bailing on who he has become and leaving everyone in the future.
It's like after everything he went through he finally decided to just say "ah fuck it".

> Tony sacrificed himself for others.
> Cap abandoned Bucky, Wanda, and Sam to go have fun times with Peggy the milk truck.
> With Tony gone, Cap leaving has guaranteed the collapse of the Avengers. Meaning he has killed the team twice.
you're right, but you're wrong about it being unintentional. The MCU, due to it's large following and attention, has been coopted for propaganda purposes and Endgame is the biggest vehicle for their agenda yet. Blatant feminism panders, Captain America looking like a pretty boy with make up, preening about his ass, counseling a gay man about his date night, and cucking out and passing the shield to a black man, captain marvel being portrayed as being better than everyone else on and off screen, with an actress who won't shut up about the evils of white men that make up the majority of her audience. Any time a franchise becomes a major phenomena, in tv or cinema, they use it to push bullshit down people's throats. The message was never this heavy handed in the early MCU movies.
