I got invited to see this movie in theaters on a whim having no prior knowledge of it's existence (only 1 of 2 movies I've seen as such, the other being a long ass baseball movie called "The Rookie" back in 2003)
And to this day it's still one of my favorite films. But can't help but feel that my joy of it was due to being caught so off guard.

RDJ had a lot of great movies under his belt, he was on decline, burdened with addictions and controversy before his Iron Man return.
Also he made Sherlock Holmes while filming Iron Man movies, and also did Due Date which was no shakespeare but was actually a decent buddy comedy
