Don't wanna be a chump and post spoilers so soon, but I hated it because it felt like the movie was one giant MCU easter egg. Constantly jokingly referencing past films. Way too much forced comedy, felt like it was directed by James Gunn. Not to mention how they completely ruined Thor. I felt like I was cringing for half the movie. After how much I enjoyed Infinity War, Endgame was garbage to me.

Everyone stays dead, then the new phase of the MCU is the OG avengers do the whole time travel/alternate universe thing to gather the “new” (same actors) superheroes from other dimensions/timelines to kill Thanos. Could use this fuckery to bring in the F4 and X men, some characters like Miles Morales from the future or something.
Then they could all have a final epic battle with Thanos and before he dies Thanos explains he was really sparring the planets with most potential from Galactus and this sets up another MCU phase

I don't mind pop culture references, as long as they're a way for the artist to pay homage to others in his work, but they're really distracting and unnecessary when they're in your face in a movie in a way to cater to some audience, I agree.
