While I know Endgame is a good movie, 3 things bothered me:

- Fat Thor had no reason to exist besides the 2min gag when we first encounter him.

- Professor Hulk is so useless. No only that, but why did Banner decide to permanently become a giant green monster right when there were no fights to be had? Avengers didn't even exist anymore, everybody was retired.

- The fight sequences were in no way better than the fight sequences in infinity war. Nothing came close to Iron Man / Dr. strange vs Thanos.

And that's the problem with the fucking film. The story isn't shaped by characters, the story shapes the characters and what they do. Shitty choices are made because that's how the plot demanded they go.

Like fuck, it feels like the last Jedi in terms of how stupid people act to get in the plot in the direction the writers want

He lived with the Peggy of a different timeline, he might have changed shit in that timeline. As the movie lays out, you can’t change the past events of the main MCU timeline. Steve I assume made the jump back to the main timeline before sitting on the bench at the end

If Steve jumped back to the main timeline he would have had to go back to the time machine like they did every other time they came back. If Cap just lived out his life in the main time line they should have noticed the old man sitting on the bench. But he only appeared there after Cap had gone back.

Professor Hulk was him being at peace with who he is. He didn't want to hide the fact that he was always the Hulk. I actually liked him a lot, despite how silly it looked.

Lebowski Thor is literally just there for toys, cosplay, and marketing. And yeah, the first movie had Thanos throwing a fucking planet at Iron Man, so it's got better firepower. There's nothing minor about the nitpicks and plotholes. They flat-out butchered some characters along with their halfass attempt at time travel mechanics. It's also absolutely abysmal to allow a different timeline's Stones function in another one. It's literally fucking universe-breaking.

As people say.The final battle feels straight out of Ready Player One. There's no real emotional gravity, it's in a bland,generic grey landscape filled with CGI bodies. The fight is meant to wow people because they see EVERY CHARACTER.

It's terrible. It's straight outta the last Hobbit movie bad.
