It's amazing how much better Infinity War is as an overall juggling act.
Endgame felt like it was farting and shitting all over the place about half the time.
There was plenty good in Endgame, but it had a nearly equal measure of actual shit.
Meanwhile Infinity War was about as good as that story could be, and didn't waste any time.

IW was better. End Game looks like it was hastily put together slop, especially with the time travel bullshit.

Twenty movies people may have cared and invested in. Ruined by one, with time travel, to borrow some stones, and retcon alot of stories. This movie just leaves you feeling empty, without any need to rewatch any of the previous films. Even if you were a new comer, you would be just fine with watching Infinity War and Endgame.

I feel that way, too. There's got to be a shitload of deleted scenes for this film. Then again, it most likely was just a haste job, as it's usually 2-3 years between avengers film, not just one month.

I think a big part of the problem is the shift towards serialization of everything. Writers, and the companies that hire them, have been ignoring the fact that each segment or episode has to stand up as it's own complete story with a beginning, mid, and end. These fucks have just been ignoring story structure and simply injecting plot points where ever they please in whatever fashion they want.

I'd watch Iron Man because it starts everything, you could watch the Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton because it's comfy, but you'll have to accept that he doesn't reprise the role.

Some people didn't like that Hulk movie anyway, but I did.

You CAN watch Cap: First Avenger, but that movie is boring even though it has some highlights.

Then i'd recommend watching the first Avengers Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy. You can watch Age of Ultron next, but you could also skip it, it's mediocre but still entertaining. After that, watch Civil War, and then right after Civil War you can go to Infinity War and then you'll be ready for Endgame.

The Batman trilogy is worth it.
