also Adrianne Palicki's fake tits look horrendous
Fake tits niggers and a ginger, that's a no from me.
Am I being retarded? or was this logical backwardness intentional
>Future space niggers still don't have a dad around
how did he get away with it?
did Alara get alternate-timeline-BLACKED?
there's not a lot of "pressure" (non-homogeneous gravitational field tidal forces) inside the even horizon of a black hole if the black hole is big enough
>The point at which tidal forces destroy an object or kill a person will depend on the black hole's size. For a supermassive black hole, such as those found at a galaxy's center, this point lies within the event horizon, so an astronaut may cross the event horizon without noticing any squashing and pulling, although it remains only a matter of time, as once inside an event horizon, falling towards the center is inevitable.

>water is the same as space
let me guess you thought the Enterprise rising out of the water was so cool and badass in JJ verse right?
why didn't Kelly tell everyone the Kaylons were evil if she kept all her memories?
she forgot
It's difficult to convince everyone in a time of peace I would suspect. Bureaucracy and shit.
>When Seth makes you join his Star Trek LARP but then changes it to a Battlestar Galactica LARP for an episode.
is this the last episode? if it is, is this cancelled?
Can I lock my bike up and park it between those fake ass boobs? I need a bike rack.
Entire S2 is garbage and I hope it gets cancelled.
It's not been officially cancelled and they are still in talks with Fox to go streaming.
Did you fail to notice that the alternate timeline was pure Star Wars?
>that scene where they zoomed in on Kelly's mole
Reminder that once you cross the event horizon there is no way back out as all the space in there only goes one direction...the centre of the black hole.
gravity does not equal pressure.
That becomes irrelevant once you have FTL magic tech.
someone didn't listen
>implying FTL tech wouldn't warp spacetime to counteract gravitational curvature
Any day now.....
Because she would be committing a Kaylonophobic hate crime.
Quantum drive was offline, that's why they had to hide in the first place.
> MFW Netflix cancels my talk show the same week Fox cancels my side gig.
Norm was supposed to have a larger role on the Orville but they quickly realized that the CGI cost more than they thought so his scenes were reduced.
I don't remember that, but if true it does make it bullshit.
It is true and it's one reason people are complaining about that scene. If they had engaged the Quantum drive to escape the event horizon, fine, but they didn't.
I did actually like the time dilation scene. I'm surprised something like that wasn't done in trek.
>Sheeeeeeeeiiittt
>Ayyo where da fried chikin at!
Yep
BRUH LOOK AT THESE DOODS
t. cbs shill
Yeah I wish I was a womanlet getting raped by Seth MacFarlane too.
was she implied to have been with the engineer guy?
Heavily implied.
guess it's over
It was implied in the way they looked at each other.
Don't say it's over.
And Red-itt is sending jars of pickles to Fox because, well they would wouldn't they?
The Orville staff told them that wasn't helpful but does plebbit listen?
I just got it - time device is from Ep 1. Cool.
what
In a first episode of the show they had a time manipulating device.
It's the same device that caused whole troubles in the end of second season.
The time device Isaac was experimenting with is the same device they had to protect from the Krill in the very first episode of the series.
Just finished the episode, and came here to bitch and moan about this exact point.
Even the music had hints of Williams in there. Asteroid stuff. The ship they were on even vaguely resembled the falcon. This episode was epic.
Fuck my nuts, The Orville has the deepest lore.
Look on the seats inside the shuttle when Ed and Gordon first enter. There are what appear to be Rebel Alliance fighter helmets laying there. Also the drones flying thru the forest at high speed felt very much like Endor in Return of the Jedi.
How expensive can it be to create a CGI blob that looks like a 2006 PS2 cutscene
Have to say, this is a beautiful ship.
Stakes raised for the sake of big statistics. Unfortunate if they feel the need to outdo themselves later.
If you can believe in faster-than-light travel, you can situationally swallow the event horizon thing. They got by it the same way they are traveling faster than light to begin with. The time dilation they expressed is goofy for regular relativity, but again this is a faster-than-light machine that presumably negates most of the side effects. You have to assume they parked the ship motionless while the Quantum Drive remained active as if in motion.
The space-ship in the ocean... reminds me of that Futurama joke about the spaceship being designed for pressures between 0 and 1 atmosphere. I guess the Orville is built tough.
Not too different than original Star Trek. They accidentally invented time travel at the end of episode 4, and used it intentionally for episode 26, which was the last episode of their second season.
>its a gay aliens episode
>again
>and again
>and again
>its a Captain gets cucked episode
>again
We've seen a shuttle land on Alara's high gravity homeworld. Given that it makes sense that the Orville would be at least that tough.
The Quantum drive was offline when they entered the event horizon though...
Then they should be very dead, smeared remains caught time locked a few smidgens from the event horizon.
It's a looker. The only thing that bugged me is that when you see the shuttle bay doors slide open they are obviously clipping into the model.
You don't actually get crushed the instant you pass the event horizon. That only happens deeper inside.
All they had to do was move the "Quantum Drive is back online" line to before they left the black hole, and there would be no issue.
...Except for the time dilation effect, and the fact that they should have been falling towards the center the whole time.
10% chance it stays on Fox, 10% chance it's gone for good, 80% it ends up on Disney's stream thing
Time appears to stop at the event horizon for any observer on the outside. Even if they could magically survive without the Quantum Drive, it wouldn't be two days, it would be fucktons of billions of years while more crap fell in after them.
If they were smart, they would keep it. They have this one chance to steal the Star Trek audience. Fox may just be assholes, never cancelling, but not renewing until everyone has to go find other jobs anyhow.
I gave this a fair shot.
1st episode - ok, not that horrible. Family Guy humor isnt in every single line i can deal with it. Way more Star Trek than that CBS star trek, i might can get into this
2nd episide - tranny shit
D R O P P E D
You missed out on at least 3 to 4 non-gay epic space adventure sci-fi episodes. But the rest was pretty gay, yep.
but tranny shit is 3rd episode, not second, second was the alien zoo thing
anyways watch "Into The Fold", 8th one
I dont really care about gay i just hate the political side of gay.
Watch the tow 2-parters of this season. They are solid and mostly politics free. There are some other episodes that are ok but can't be bothered to sort it all out.
I guess im asking is their a lot of gay political stuff where theres some sort of social message about accepting gay stuff?
If theres just a bunch of gay stuff going on i can deal with it but when they make it like trying to have a moral message i cant into.
Looks like something out of Stargate Atlantis
Come on now. This isn't star trek discovery.
It was generic and bland
> 80% it ends up on Disney's stream thing
> Disney streaming anything they don't own outright.
First day in Mouseville?
>MFW Discovery haters try and spread false rumors that it would be cancelled.
>Couple months later, WhOrville is at risk of being cancelled
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disney owns it now
Not all the rights to the show. Seth owns Orville thru his production company. Don't know if 20th's production arm got a cut or is paid a co-production fee without ownership.
I feel like the finale was a meta episode exploring the current state of scifi. We have the Orville, which is a throwback to the Star Trek of old. But this was literally The Road Not Taken. A very Star Wars influenced episode with plenty of action and nonexistent science to the point where it appeared they were going out of their way to show just how little they cared about the science. The event horizon scene is the perfect example, I find it hard to believe the writer didn't realize just how absurd that was to the point that I believe it was intentional. This is what modern scifi has become. All it needed was lens flare all over the damn place.
Old thing I read said Mouse had it. Shouldn't be surprised about bloggers not doing any actual research though. Hope it ends up somewhere. There is a lot I hate about the show, but it's high points are some of the best stuff on TV right now.
>weekly affirmation skeletor is love
motu series with skeletor and his gang of dumbass cronies as protagonists when?

>I am Bortus.

Seriously though, why havent we heard anything yet about cancellation or renewal? When does that type of news usually break? Is it uncommon for them to stay quiet this long or is it the norm?
>When you're the black father and you can't escape
>Ayyo bruh da fuck was in that ketracel-wh*te
>Sheeeit nigguh, iz life Jim but sure as fuck not as we know it yo
They're expecting a decision in May.
>tfw both your favorite shows end within two hours
Gotham has ended too? Damn, gotta catch up and watch the last season.
It was a clusterfuck, but a pretty fun one
